Lemon of a car

So disappointed in this car. We got a fully loaded lemon which started to seriously malfunction at only 2100 miles. Computer module malfunction put car in collision control mode and loss of power steering - a potentially life threatening malfunction. While Hyundai offers many fancy features for less this and their inability to fix the problem has tainted our opinion of this vehicle. Update: if this problem wasn’t bad enough the vehicle has started lane correction with no vehicles around jerking the car to the right. Front end and side collision started going off for no reason. Brought it to the dealer who did a “fix” for it and it remains to be seen whether it will actually be fixed. This was a TSB and should be a recall involving a camera. I have never owned a vehicle with such potentially dangerous, life threatening malfunctions. Update 2025: still having the same problems. Had to call Hyundai corporation who was in contact with the dealership. The service manager refused to replace the camera. His fix? Keep the car and drive it around until they could recreate the problem with no timeline and no loaner provided to us. And Hyundai corporation said they had to defer to the dealership as they are independently owned. Despite the TSB’s fix for it. The last time we did this they had the car for over a month, drove it 100’s of miles, gave it back to us dead empty, dinged the side door and the problem appeared several times after that shortly that.

Cell Phone Connection Issues!

Disappointed , 09/23/2021

I bought my 2021 Santa Fe SEL 1 month ago, and have had nothing but issues with the connectivity. Dealer advised that I use only factory direct cords, that didn't work. Said it must be the cell phone, well I have two phones, Android and Iphone which both are brand new. I deleted both phones and started over, that didn't work. The system is faulty. It will work fine for 10 min, an hour but also glitches out. Screen goes black, then pops back on stating the phone wont connect even though the phone is still playing over the speaker. I work in sales, and need the hands free to work and it simply does not. Dealer couldn't fix it, and is aware of this issue and waiting for Hyundai Corp for a solution with no solution is site. The car drives great, however I cannot use it for work. The dealer has done nothing, Hyundai has not called me back. I regret putting my trust in Hyundai.

Best mid size SUV on the market. More "bells and whistles", best warranty, very stylish and with the new 2.5 Turbo, reasonably quick. Good gas mileage and lots of room, including storage.

I bought the Hyundai Santa Fe after reviewing other brands. A vehicle loaded with digital technology, safety features and an outstanding warranty. It is a comfortable ride and a pleasure to drive.

You CAN lift your wipers of your front window.

People just don't read all the manuals that come with their new vehicles! It tells you how to do just that. They give you the manuals for a reason ..USE THESO right after you turn off the ignition, hit the wiper stalk UP to "swipe" and hold it a few seconds.. The wipers will lift to the UP position... Now you can lift them off your windshield EASILY. Same as a VW and others
