Super roomy and luxurious
I have owned my Calligraphy for 3 weeks and am so happy I do. It is spacious and has lots of storage room. It is as close to luxury as is possible. The cabin is quite and the acceleration is fabulous; I no longer miss my 2013 Acura, a car I loved for the acceleration. The napa leather in the Calligraphy feels so good; I love the sky room, the shades that block the sun in the back seats and the wonderful Harmon Kardon stereo speakers. I could go on and on; my biggest limitation is the gas mileage not being as high as I would like. I would purchase this vehicle again for sure.

In love with my Santa Fe!
Drives so smoothly. Love all the cameras and gadgets that keep me safe on the road , especially the lane guidance system and the parking assists. The huge moonroof is amazing the interior is beautiful and all the displays are payed out nicely. Got a great deal from the dealership and you can’t beat the warranty! Thrilled with my purchase.

Good look-n-feel, SOLID value w/a few small issues
Really 4.5 stars, but that's not an option 2 annoyances: - Lacks support for wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto (which base models have?!) for the 10.25" infotainment equipped vehicles - Very laggy system response after the SUV sits for more than a few minutes. Upon starting, plan to sitting around WAITING to select a profile for seat adjustments? Not a fan. While nothing can be done on the driver-side about the wireless smartphone debacle, taking advantage of the included 3 years of BlueLink to Remote Start 2-3 minutes before heading to the SUV gives the laggy computer system time to wakeup. I really like this machine more every day. However, it's only been about a week, and I'm coming from a truck. It's quiet, comfortable (for REALLY large/wide people the seats might not work-out), has AMAZINGLY comfy backseat, rides smoothly and pleases my eyes and hands with every interaction. The turbo-lag and transmission need some getting used to, but after a short time I'm already much more confident in its response in a pinch (haven't really tried the gear-selector paddles, and doubt I'll need to). CUDOS for numerous switches, the clever use and organization are great! (love the rocker and depress type multi-switches used all over the controls!!!). If the infotainment panel dies... it'll still run just fine until repaired. Also, I live in a hot climate, and the quality and speed of cooling from these ventilated seats CRUSHES every other vehicle I used.

Santa Fe Calligraphy 2021
Update to the review below. I've now had the SF Calligraphy for about a year. It has been problem free and solid as a rock. I remain as happy with it as the day I bought it. They did some really nice software upgrade since I bought it, which improved the NAV and radio functionality. This is the only car I've ever had that I prefer the native NAV to Google NAV. The spacious driver and passenger seats and leg and shoulder room are exceptional and have made this vehicle EXTREMELY comfortable for long trips. ***** I've had the 2021 Santa Fe Calligraphy for a couple of weeks. It's a great mid-sized SUV and if not an outright luxury vehicle despite the non-lux pricing, comes close enough. I traded in my 8 year old BMW X3 for it, after wearying of the repair bills at the BMW dealer. Before that I had an X5. I think I was just ready to try something new and different, and the updated design of the Santa Fe appealed to me when I saw one on the road. The positives: The Calligraphy has a strong engine and quick acceleration. Fit and finish are very good for the price. The vehicle is exceptionally roomy for driver and passengers, and there's a lot of space in the rear area. The technology is pretty extensive, especially at this price point. Some of the tech is really worthwhile - the 360 degree camera view, head up display, etc. The entertainment system is great - nice big screen, good sound system, it's all there, everything you want and need. The driver's seat is comfortable and can easily accommodate my large size; I feel I could drive in it all day or on a long trip and not feel fatigued. The ride is smooth, stable, quiet, pretty good on bumps and uneven surfaces for 20" wheels, and passengers seem to like it. I like the transmission, which is a dual clutch and has kind of a manual trans feel to it, with noticeable gear shifts that are responsive and fast - I consider the transmission a plus, even though Car and Driver dissed it. I do love the look of the vehicle. The negatives As some others have complained on reviews around the web, there is a dark spot in the headlights while driving at night, around 20-30 feet out, slightly to the left of the driver. I'm talking a big black spot in the road that isn't illuminated by the lights, big enough for a deer or other object to be in such that you can't see it. It's a basic design flaw that shouldn't have made it past the blueprint stage, although you kind of get used to it. There are no interior lights when you open the car door at night. The gimmicky illumination is not a substitute for an actual lit interior when you're climbing in in the dark. This seems like a pretty basic feature not to have on a $42,000 vehicle. Gas mileage has been poor. No worse than my last SUVs but no better, either. 21-22 around town, 27-28 on pure highway driving, can get as low as 15 just hopping to the store down the block. Overall, it's value for the money. You'd spend $15 or $20k more to get something comparable from another, more "upscale" brand. That extra $15 or $20k wouldn't get you more car, although it might get you slightly nicer refinements. On a BMW things are a little tighter and better fit than on this Hyundai, but not by orders of magnitude, just a little. It wasn't worth the extra $$ to me, not even close. The Santa Fe is everything I wanted in an SUV.

Terrible sound coming from the suspension
I just leased a 2021 Hyundai Santa Fe Limited, and have had the vehicle in the shop twice over the first month of ownership. The vehicle has a knocking, screeching sound coming from the undercarriage when traveling at slow speed or going over speed bumps. I was told that this maybe within specifications, but I doubt it. I have owned a lit of SUVs and this is by far the very worst suspension that I have seen in a new vehicle.
