2020 Hyundai Palisade SEL 4dr SUV (3.8L 6cyl 8A)

I traded in a Toyota 4 Runner Limited for my brand new SEL with Convenience package and premium package. I absolutely love this car!!!! It has so much room inside it and all the bells and whistles I could ever want in a car. No more 16mpg and I feel like I’m driving a very upscale car without the high price tag. It has been a real head turner people everywhere ask me what kind of car it is. I am so happy with my choice! I test drove the 2020 Toyota Highlander, Kia Telluride, Lexus RX 350 F sport and finally the 2020 Ford Explorer. While I was in between the telluride and the explorer I found this jewel and fell in love! Everything about this car screams upscale luxury and the comfort while ever a sporty drive mode checks all the boxes. You won’t be disappointed!

2020 Hyundai Palisade Limited 4dr SUV (3.8L 6cyl 8A)

We were in the market for a new midsize SUV and tried out the Lincoln Aviator, as our first choice. Our second choice was the Kia Telluride. Our third choice was the Hyundai Palisade. After driving all three, we chose the Palisade over the Kia. The Aviator, although very plush, couldn't even compete in ride comfort. It was much more powerful than the Palisade or the Kia and also $20K more expensive. The Palisade had the identical ride characteristics of the Telluride. The Kia may have appealed to me initially, but when we test drove the Palisade, we immediately fell in love with the much more luxurious looking interior. The layout of the controls is much more intuitive than those of the Telluride. The exterior is, although subjective, a more luxury oriented design than the Telluride, which is more leaning toward a rugged look. What finally made us choose the Palisade, was the better interior, as that is where we will spend the majority of our driving experience.

This is the SUV you want

Driven all brands and kinds of SUVs. This one has them all beat. Replaces the meh Santa Fe...bigger, sharper, bolder in every way. Destroys the Accura MDX...the engine accelerates with ease and power. The Palisade is possibly the best thing to come from Hyundai since they spun out Genesis. The exterior is unique. And sharp. The interior looks like something you would see inside Mercedes and the safety features assist without being confusing or annoying. Genesis is coming out with their own SUV in the spring of 20. Don’t know how it could be better than the Palisade, but I will be eager to see if this gets even better.

Overall, What's Not To Like!

2020 Hyundai Palisade Limited 4dr SUV AWD (3.8L 6cyl 8A)

Bought the AWD Limited at the end of March.2020. Have less than 300 miles on it (Corona virus stay at home reason). So far it seems to be an excellent vehicle. As of today, 5/3/2020, I counted the reviews for the limited AWD. There are (2) 1 star reviews, 1 of which was complaining about the MSRP rather than the car itself; (1) 2 star; (1) 3 star; (2) 4 star and (23) 5 star (counting my review). I've concluded you can please most people most of the time but some people none of the time. Granted, some times you may get a lemon. Now my review. First the cons: no outside folding mirrors; no sun glass holder; lack of compass in mirror; no little storage space for coins; somewhat hard seats; controls for front passenger seat lacking controls that driver's seat has; 2nd row seats lack power to go back up; stop and go inconsistent. These really aren't complaints just mostly preferences. Now the pros: Oh my! Let me just say it would be hard to find a more luxurious car with the amount of technology and the little extras Hyundai engineers have thought of in the Palisade. I won't elaborate on them all because you can read the other 5 star reviews and others online about all the features. All I can say is this is probably the best overall vehicle I have ever owned and I'm an older person so I've owned several over the years. Another thing of note. Compare the warranties and free service Hyundai offers. This vehicle is hard to beat for the price and features! Can you tell I really like this car.

I looked into and watched multiple reviews all SUVs (pilot, 2020 explorer platinum, Tahoe, Escalade, navigator, telluride, aviator). Test drive a 2020 explorer platinum before this one and let me tell you this limited has so many features it blows away the competition, plus it has a nice luxury aspect to it, which was one of the features I was looking for. Watch full YouTube reviews on this car to see all the features, it’s amazing. The third row is roomy and I have no leg room issues (5’2”) and the seats recline nicely, there’s no console between the two captains chairs in the second row so if someone tall is in the third row, they can put their legs between those seats. The MSRP at the dealership was a little less than what it is on the website when you build and price it. I used to dislike Hyundai’s, but they have come a long way! I feel like next year they could easily increase the MSRP for this suv and make it closer to the price of the 2020 Ford Explorer platinum (60k) and people would still buy this.
