First the Cons. It's with the little things. Living in the Northeast US (Pennsylvania) where the weather is at times quite challenging (snow and ice in particular), for the $40k+ we paid for this, I think heated mirrors should be standard issue (unfortunately I didn't check before buying it. that's on me), some more padding to kill the road noise would be nice although it is quieter than many vehicles. The gaps on the doors should be tighter, if that even possible. I heard whistling while on the highway driving form NYC on a windy night. Yes the buttons do feel a bit cheap but you don't really touch them too much so I don't think that should be and issue. Maybe because my vehicle was built on a Friday and workers aren't as focused as they should be, thinking about the weekend? You never know. Now the Pros. It's an excellent driving SUV. Gas mileage is great (24 mpg). It gives me about 6 gallons more per gallon than the 2010 Veracruz (18 mpg) I have on the highway. Handling is fantastic. Very responsive in drive and when I use the paddles, Brakes work. All of the features work great especially that Forward warning alarm because of the nuts that stop short on the highway while I drive through New Jersey. The Driver Assist works quite well in a very windy condition where this SUV gets pushed into the next lane with a very strong gust. kudos for that. Overall I'm quite pleased with the Palisade except for those little things... 4 out 0f 5 Stars

Perfect blend of luxury and technology

This vehicle checks all the boxes we were looking for -all the latest technology and safety features. Fit and finish feel like something you’d see from the German luxury brands. The ride is smooth and quiet and you’ll love the comfortable quilted nappa leather seating they even have a suede headliner. We went with the rainforest color (metallic green) which looks green in some lighting and more grey at other times. The lane keeping assist is one of the best I’ve seen and has a stop and go traffic feature. The third row is usable and easy to access. The turn signal has a camera that shows up in your tach gauges both left and right side Honda lane watch on steroids. The heads up display shows speed limit signs and blind spot warning as well. Remote start and lock from the app is really handy you can set the temperature beforehand so you’re ready to roll. If you’re shopping this segment make sure you check this out you won’t be disappointed!

#1 Choice, better than the Telluride

Heavily researched this vehicle and decided to buy after the test drive. 2 weeks in now and the Palisade exceeds all expectations. Great drive, very quiet cabin, plenty of power and tech. Ignore the expert reviews, drive the Palisade and decide. 2 Year update. I sold the car. Hyundai would not address the wind noise issues. If you want this car, drive it on a windy day.

Nice car with cheap paint job and noisy at speed

I bought this car about 6 weeks ago and put on it so far 2500 miles. It handles good. Looks nice and provides almost as much space as my previous car 2012 GMC Acadia. I test drove the car on a city roads at a lower speed so I was unpleasantly surprised by noise level at higher speed. The quite ride stops at about 60 mph and the winds start hauling louder the faster you go. I also have issues maintaining connection between my phone and the car info system when I try to use navigation. I get a message that connection is lost after about 5 -10 min of being connected. My biggest disappointment came yesterday when I found out that the paint on the front grill has bubbled up on several location so it won't take long before the bubbles crack and the paint will start chipping away. I called the dealership to make an appointment but still waiting to hear back from them. I was told that my dealership doesn't provide loaners but they can rent me a car while my car is in the shop. (another bummer) I still like my car but as I said had it only for 6 weeks so only the future will tell if I ever buy Hyundai again. Good luck with your purchase.

Best decision I ever made! Beats any brand

After driving sports cars my entire life, Time came to switch to a family SUV. I spent much time and researched all the brand names. One of these brands, Mercedes, BMW, Acura, Infinity and Lexus, were the only brands i was prepared to buy. My coworker kept telling me to look at a Hyundai, but I was not having it. I went to test drive the GLE, the GLS, the X5, and all others. I settled on the GLS, and almost bought it, until the salesman pissed me off and i left the store. I decided to listen to my coworker and drove to Hyundai... I saw the Limited Palisade, and immediately loved the way it looked inside and out! Half hour later my wife came to the dealer to "snap me back to reality" (as she said it)... 3 hours later we drove home in our new 2020 Hyundai Palisade Limited AWD! I am amazed at the quality of materials as well as all the functions in this car, and biggest thing, The PRICE!!! I almost paid $90000 for Mercedes GLS 450, and for the price the car had much less features, was slower, had worse quality of materials, not to mention the warranty and the track record for reliability. I paid right about $52500 out the door, taxes, fees and all for my Palisade. To comparable level trim and features from GLS, i would have had to go up to $110000 or more. I feel like my eyes were opened for the first time, and i now see how closed minded i was in the past sticking to a name, rather than actual value. I will be shopping Hyundai from now on... Ohh yea, forgot to mention, I had to take this thing off-road just to know what it was capable of... And it performed!!! I had my friend in a Range Rover Defender with me just in case i get stuck, but i did not need any help and was able to get through all areas with relative ease. My friend commented that he has seen people in Jeeps get stuck in some of the spots that i was able to clear. I Love this car!!!!
