Technology and safety features
We bought a Palisade SEL with convenience and premium packages about a week ago. This car runs like a charm and we love the fact that we can actually have eight regular adults comfortably in the car. The design of the interior of the car is so nice. I finally have a place for my bag that is easily accesible. The only downside that I have found so far is the lack of power mirrors, but it is just a minor inconvenience that would never be a deal breaker for me.

Love our Palisade
We looked for months for a SUV that would meet our family's needs. The Hyundai Palisade limited exceed our expectations! We have a 2011 Hyundai Equus and love the luxury look and ride. The Palisade gave us that and much more! We have had ours since Oct 2019 with no issues.

Window noise on the Palisade
There is an irritating window noise on both drivers and passenger front windows. The dealer said they had not been notified from Hyundai on a fix. So I showed them how to fix the noise and they fixed it. So if they tell you it cannot be fixed let me know

Unknown noise
I purchased 2 months ago and it’s been at dealership more than it’s been in my driveway, strange noise coming from driver door when ac or defrost is on high and they have tried to fix it by changing door seals and adjustments to door no luck and I’m very disappointed .
PALISADE TOTAL PACKAGE
So I test drove this suv back when it first came out. Early July and August I believe . I felt in love with it I’m a tech fanatic. So I said let me see what else is out there besides this . So I test drove a 2019/2020 Honda Pilot . 2019 Toyota Highlander both were similar in space and cargo Honda had a bit more leg room . Pilot was a bit bulky and Claustrophobic . Highlander was nice and compact but lacked cargo room and and rear 3rd row room . So moved on to the VW atlas which was very very good in leg room knee room and cargo . Only problem was that interior was very cheap with hard plastic and fake wood all over . A pillars & headliner felt like my 2006 Jeep commander. So I passed on that then I drove the 2020 Toyota Siena limited I loved the comfort and the world of cargo and leg room . Only problem was that it was so dated inside and out plus my wife hated it. So I was left with the telluride and the palisade only reason why did not pick the telluride was that looked too much like a copy of other cars. So I picked the palisade limited in steel gray with the black interior . So far I just owned it for 24 but I love it. Only thing I wish it had was the power mirrors . But I think I can live without it for now .

Best suv ive ever owned.
in jan 2020 my girlfriend and i traded a 2017 santa fe sport awd for 2020 palisade limited suv. One of the best decisions we ever made. One of the smoothest riding vehicles we ever owned. Its completely loaded and the blind spot monitor being a camera that shows up on your instrument cluster is an amazing feature. If your turn the left signal on your tachometer becomes a camera looking down left side of vehicle. Right signal turns the speedometer into camera looking down right side of vehicle. My girlfriend drives this vehicle most of the time. I have 2020 tucson sport with the 4 cylinder and this palisade has the 3.8 v6 and it gets the same gas mileage. So far i have no gripes with the palisade. The limited is rather pricey but if you compare it to other 3 row crossover's its a great deal. I have owned older blazer's, older cherokee and the santa fe sport limited. The palisade blows them out of the water. If their is one complaint and its minor. Their is some road noise in the cabin on the highway but its not terrible. We listen to radio most of time and dont notice it. This is the best suv ive ever driven and i would completely recommend this suv.

Would NOT buy another Palisade- EVER again!
I purchased a 2020 Palisade Limited with 26,000 miles. I was so excited but quickly learned why Hyundai needs a 100,000 mile warranty. There are some comforts with this vehicle, everyone is comfortable and it has all the safety features and tech features! BUT- who cares if you can't drive it because it's always in the shop!!! In the 2 years I had the Palisade- I could NOT drive it in the rain without it shorting out and the engine shaking with the check engine light on. I took it to the dealership 3 times with this issue. They replaced a coil once but litterally anytime there was a big rain or puddles, it would shake and misfire until I got home and turned it off. It would continue until it dried out and then it seemed fine. How useful is a vehicle if you can't drive it in the rain?? It has had the back hatch pumps replaced (which can't be open manually) and they took 6 weeks to get the part in. Another 2 weeks to get scheduled to be replaced. At 45,000 miles the wheels started chipping silver off. So apparently, they are painted wheels... looks really cheap! Overall, the quality is lacking- sure it looks fine, but over time it was quickly learned that this vehicle will not hold up! If you're interested in a Palisade- lease it new MAYBE, but for long term- DON'T BUY this vehicle.

Love It!
I love my new palisade because it’s for sporty and classy. Includes all the features of premium vehicles, but at a great price! I do wish Apple CarPlay worked without having to plug my phone in to the car. It has a wonderful wireless charger yet you need to have it plugged in all the time to work the Apple car phone. The interior is exquisite. It is so comfortable. The stereo system especially in the rear and middle of the car need to be upgraded immensely. I would expect a car in this class at this price to have an excellent stereo. All around it’s my favorite car I’ve ever had and I love it!

Perfect upgrade/replacement to our Santa Fe XL
This was just what we were looking for, decision between this and the telluride was easy when we were explained all the extra features it had, most importantly the remote start on the key! The interior seemed much more luxurious and the shifter design gives space for extra storage underneath!

Palisade is all that and then some!
We have had many Hyundai Sante Fe's in the past. In fact, I traded in a 2018 Sante Fe Ultimate for the 2020 Palisade. When we saw the Palisade it was BEAUTIFUL inside and out, and we fell in love. The technology that is offered on it is insane and for the price, no other manufacture or model could begin to offer the same. The Palisade handles well, rides smooth, feel luxurious, and yet is more affordable than other similar makes/models. I cant say enough about how happy we are with our Palisade. I absolutely LOVE THIS CAR.

Best value for your money!
This crossover has it all! It performs great on long drives, it is nimble around town, and is the best value for what you are getting under 50k. I thought long and hard about getting the Genesis GV80, but I am happy I saved the money and purchased the Palisade instead. Can’t say a bad thing about this purchase. I recently got 26.3 mpg on drive from Ca to Az.

Super nice, super value
Purchased Aug 2019 (6mths) - white w/beige interior. Looks much better in person! Tech and amenities surpasses anything in its class, and has lots of space and comfort. It’s been a great replacement for our Mercedes GLE SUV. Also own BMW X5. Pali does not have quite the fit and finish, suspension, or refined transmission of a luxury vehicle, but it is very close and should not be expected to at this price point. It’s a super value and allowed us to get significantly more space, tech and amenities for tens of thousands less! Couldn’t be happier so far!

I Love My Black Pali! I call her Black Beauty!
I traded in a 2018 Infiniti QX60 for my Black Limited Hyundai Palisade AWD! The first time I saw the Palisade was on a ad on Facebook. I fell in love at that moment and went purchased it the next week! The sleek design on the outside is exceptional and it’s definitely a beauty! The interior is just as fantastic with all the luxury features! I will have this vehicle for a long time unlike all my other vehicles I traded in after two years! 2020 Hyundai Palisade for the win!

Ahmazing!
I was interested in the Lexus GX series. I became disappointed when my search came up short of vehicle options. We’re a family of 5 with three growing children. The Palisade had all the features we could want with children, the safety features alone made my jaw drop! Comparable to a luxury vehicle without feeling the luxury price tag! I am so glad the Palisade found me. Ahmazing price! Great ride and comfort for all 5 of us!! I wanted the Limited, but the SEL price tag was too good to pass up and offered all the major features I wanted.

All New Palisade
UPDATE 8/29/19: I am updating my review. I have noticed that there is a slight vibration in the gas pedal and floor when driving over certain roads. It can also be felt on the driver said thru the floor now so it seems to be getting worse. I took it in for service at two dealers and they acknowledged the issue and I also test drove a Limited AWD. I have had to contact Hyundai and open a case. Please be aware of this issue before purchasing. Others are experiencing this issue on both the Palisade and Telluride. I have also experienced the wind voice but only when there is a crosswind. And boy is it loud. Just got my Palisade yesterday. I did not pay over the sticker price nor was I about to. I got a decent deal and within my budget. I got the SEL AWD with the convenience package and sunroof. Pros: - The drive is smooth and cabin quiet. - Lots of safety tech and getting used to no shifter. - Feels solid with quality materials. - wireless charging for supported phones! - Mine even came with a first aid kit! - standard remote start - power lift gate The cons: - no standard compass on the rear view mirror or in the digital cluster. What 2020 vehicle would not come standard with a compass?? - the side mirrors don’t have reverse assist so that they tilt down when backing up. Maybe on the limited model? - the front passenger seat isn’t power unless you get the package with premium package. - no Bluelink on SEL model. For the price bluelink should be standard. The sales people at Hyundai were even surprised at this. Other than that, so far so good. Will see as the weeks and months go on!

2020 2020 Hyundai Palisade
It drove quite well. I am very surprised that this vehicle you cannot get powered folding mirrors. It makes no sense for a large vehicle. To get it in my garage I would need to get out of the vehicle and close the mirrors. The Kia Telluride comes standard with powered folding mirrors in all trims.

Wouldn’t buy the SE
I spent hundreds of hours researching vehicles to make sure that when Spring came and I was ready for a new vehicle that I knew EXACTLY what I wanted. My husband and I test drove several vehicles and were quite impressed with a few. I saw that a dealership about a half an hour away had just gotten a Palisade SE in and so we decided to go drive it just to see what our overall thoughts were. I knew that if I got a Palisade it would be the SEL. Well.........we drove the SE and were impressed with the ride, the dash/info screen set-up, and the custom diamond-stitch leather interior the dealership had put in. That interior hooked my husband and I gave in. I regret that decision. It’s a beautiful vehicle and there are a lot of really nice things about it, but like others have said, a lot of irritating things also. In safety, it has a lot more than my 2013 Ford Edge, but in other ways I really miss my Edge. The Palisade does not have electric front seats, no dual climate control, no heated seats, no sunroof, no push button start, no remote start. Those may be a lot “fluff” for some people, but those were things on my list that I really wanted/needed to have. When you first start the vehicle it has this annoying “information” screen about driving safely that you have to confirm or what 20 seconds for it to go away so you can turn the heat on or whatever. Every single time you start it...... Sometimes the auto-dimming headlights don’t dim when I think they should. I don’t care for the auto cruise sensor.....I haven’t looked to see if I can turn that off or not. We got 10 inches of snow a couple of weeks ago and so I put the vehicle in snow mode. It drove just fine. I went to the store and when I got ready to leave I started sliding around and realized it was back on comfort mode.....you have to change it to snow mode every time you get in. 🤦🏼♀️ But.....there are a lot of nice things about the vehicle - it is a good looking vehicle and comfortable ride, there is plenty of room in all three rows, the rear seats fold and go back up easy, The infotainment screen is wonderful and easy to use. Just some excess safety features and not the comfort features I prefer. The SEL is definitely the way to go if you are looking for a Palisade.
Noisy cheap car...
The looks are amazing, no doubt. But the one day test-drive made my decision to exchange my Mazda CX 9 Signature with the Palisade easy - no, I will wait for the "old" 2021 Mazda. It is the better car. The engine is too weak for the car, the steering is not direct and even if it looks expensive: Everything is plastic inside. I was surprised to see plastic in the top trim instead of real metal or wood. The seats are very nice and comfortable, but on the highway the car is very noisy. The wind-whistle at the doors is annoying, the rattling of the second row moon-roof annoying and last but not least the dashboard was rattling as well. I appreciate the dealer gave me the car for a full day to test it - but I was very disappointed. The Hyundai looks expensive and high quality, but unfortunately it is cheaply made. Sad!

Luxury through and through
Beautiful car on the interior. A lot of standard upgrades. Love the head up drive display and digital drive display. Do not like the suede ceiling. The 2021 has corrected this. Would recommend improvements with all weather seat backs and folding cargo tray which is not a current accessory.

Upgrade to luxury
My wife was due for an upgrade after driving a Prius for 10 years. We chose the Palisade after over a month of test driving the Ascent, Highlander, Telluride, and Durango. The ride is smooth and the interior is gorgeous! The only issue has been wind noise, but a repair bulletin has been issued (just haven’t made it in to get done). We would definitely buy it again!!

OEM tires rate in the bottom 20%
I bought an AWD to be able to safely handle the adverse weather in my area (where dedicated snow tires aren't needed) At one point they were installing Michelin tires on their "flagship", but now are shipping with Bridgestone and Hankook tires which are rated far from "flagship" level (near the bottom of all All-Season options at Tirerack). The poor traction ratings on these may sabotage the advantage an AWD should provide. Be sure to add ~$800 to your purchase price, so you can go buy decent tires.

Transmission failure on day one
The first day I had the vehicle there was a transmission leak. Hyundai approved a transmission replacement. Waiting for the trans to come in.
Very high tech car but a lot of problem
I had the car for about 3 weeks and has 500 miles, problems occuring already. Wind noise from window, rattling/squeaky noise from seats, random noise from moon/sun roof. Dealer service is very poor. Hyundai has to do investigation on the problems that are occuring with Palisade. Alot of people are having similar issue and dealer is not taking action so does Hyundai Coporate.

Problen after Problem
I purchased this car 3 weeks ago and absolutely regret the purchase. The cars "safety features" have nearly caused three accidents in three weeks, the collision avoidance system has slammed on the brakes as I am changing lanes causing the cars behind me to have to slam on their brakes to avoid a pile up. I am still trying to find a way to disable this before it kills my family. I have already disabled the lane departure system which routinely activates when moving into a right turn lane as it apparently thinks I am going off the road and the car actually tries turn the wheel back into the driving lane. I have spent over 10 hours on the phone trying to get the Bluelink system working (which never worked from the factory). They just keep passing me back and forth from dealer to bluelink support and now to hyundai engineers who should get back to me in a week. . The car has an automatic parking break system that engages automatically when you put the car in park. It disengages when you put the car in gear and press on the gas petal., but you need to press on the petal with significant pressure which then causes the car to lurch forward. Finally twice today the cars automatic transmission wouldn't switch gears automatically as I accelerated. I needed to remove my foot from the petal and coast about 10 seconds before accelerating again. While this is a new model it is clearly riddled with issues and I have little faith that Hyundai will address them

2020 Hyundai Palisade SEL
I bought my Palisade when it had 300 miles on it. It has around 40,000 miles now. I still absolutely love it. The LED headlights have been annoying because oncoming traffic think my high beams are always ON. There's been a few occasions of road rage because of it.

Underpowered when 7 people are present, wind noise
Test drove 2020 Palisade Limited. While technology overload is there and many of them are well thought-through what kills it for me in this $$50,000 vehicle: 1) engine that is underspeced or mis-tuned for this size vehicle, neither in Sport nor in Smart the vehicle was responsive , very much in line with poor performing 2019 VW Atlas with 6 cylinder. If you compare it to base Expedition XLT it leaves Palisade in the thick dust. We loaded my family of 7 into Palisade and the vehicle just barely moved, engine revs loudly but acceleration is not following in neither of the modes 2) Amount of wind noise even at 45 mph is astonishing, while most of the car is relatively quiet, wind noise is just so obtrusive it is becoming very unpleasant. Hyundai could have fixed it with improved weatherstripping and they probably would but the current model is just that noisy. People are buying these cars before test driving or seeing them and paying over the sticker, but I do not understand why. $50K 2020 premium trim car should able to manage noise. It does look good though.

Don’t buy this vehicle.
I buy this Palisade 2 months ago and found that the car has serious problems on the driving performance, comfort and safety. Specifically it has a hard suspension that’s allow the impact of the road and the car movement, to go directly to the driver. Also the car has very hard transmission shifting that became more notable when the car is slowing down, you will feel an abrupt hold back because the transmission will slow the car. This abrupt shifting of the transmission with the hard suspension and movement absorption, has been hurting my back like I were in a small accident every day. So I suppose this vehicle will not has good rating on the car crash testing (it hasn’t t been tested). Definitely I don’t recommend this vehicle because this serious problems. If you don’t believe this and really want this vehicle. Take a good drive testing that has various stop light and normal city driving (stop and acceleration). Hyundai has to do something to correct this problem with the transmission and suspension.

Not as good as publicized, but good enough
I was disappointed in the cargo space and the back seat room. The rest of the car was nicely appointed. The dial shifter took some getting used to. The front seats were comfortable and with good adjustments. The a/c worked well. Driving comfort was good to great. The driving control was good. Responded well to the wheel and the accelerator. All in all a good car for someone who can afford to put down the back seats to hold their luggage. Not really a 7 passenger with luggage car.
LOVE MY PALISADE
I love the look, comfort, room and the way it drives. I had a Tuscon, which I liked but when I saw the new Palisade I fell in love with it. If you want a a larger SUV with all of the bells and whistles then the Palisade is for you too!!

Good SUV
I really like driving the 2020 palisade but the wind that in comes in at 55 mph is disheartening and the dealers know and said Hyundai know had the SUV 15 months and heard a once about my complaint.
