2024 Hyundai IONIQ 6 Consumer Reviews

Best 2024 EV sedan
I was looking for an EV sedan with a 350+ mile range for less than $50k. That's a short list of vehicles in 2024 with just 2 cars meeting the criteria: the Hyundai Ioniq 6 and the Tesla Model 3 LR. The Ioniq 6 is arguably the better buy. I purchased the limited trim for just under ~42k after incentives and discounts. The Ioniq 6 interior is more spacious and the vehicle feels like it was manufactured with tighter tolerances than the Tesla Model 3. Whether you think it's retro, slick, or funny - the Ioniq 6's streamliner inspired body styling is distinctive and stands apart from other EVs on the road. The Ioniq 6 is very fun to drive. I've found myself thinking of errands to run or places to be just to get behind the wheel. The acceleration is responsive, the steering is tight, and the suspension is in a sweet spot for me where you can still feel the road and not get shaken to death on uneven pavement.

Surprise Surprise! The Ioniq 6, I'll take 2.
This car. Man I love this car. I really love it. Our first EV but I have a Tesla Cybertruck on order if it ever is complete. I started out noticing the Ioniq5 but then realized the Ioniq6 is even better looking. At first it seems funny looking, then it really starts to shine and look amazing. We leased it for less than $400 and only $350 down. Amazing! And it came with 2 years of free charging with Electrify America. No gas cost and no electricity costs. Who doesn't want that? Did I say the car is amazing?! I didn't even need the free charging because I work in the solar industry and added 20 extra panels to my house for future EV use 2 years ago. I finally got the EV and I still don't need the added solar yet...maybe when the Cybertruck finally comes. One last thing, this car is so good I thought about getting a second one, but the math is better to just put more miles on this one and pay Hyundai the mileage overage after the 2 year lease... its only 0.20 a mile. And that's again with unlimited free charging. Basically our whole car payment is covered by the gas savings. We really only pay about $50 a month to drive the car because of the $350 avoided cost of not buying gas. The car is stylish, fast, and we'll built. The ambient lighting inside the vehicle at night is relaxing and awesome too. We love the Ioniq6

Over achieves!
Hyundai, as usual, gives you a lot for your money. I have the 6 Limited model. Comes with everything except the proverbial kitchen sink. Handles well, very good acceleration (320 HP), braking/regenerative braking is phenomenal.

Love Ioniq 6
The car has a very comfortable and quiet ride. There are a lot of security features and ways to adjust to your preference. Inside features are very nice and not overstated. The outside is more appealing, at least to me, in comparison to some other EV’s in the same price range. In addition, more car features available on the Limited version than available on other similarly priced EV’s in the current market. Lots of leg room in both the front and back seats. It is low to the ground so feels and handles like a sports car.

Great Car!
I'm very happy with my purchase. The car runs very well. It is quiet, powerful and aesthetic on both the interior and exterior. I purchased the SEL RWD trim. I was very happy getting more than the 305 advertised all-electric-miles. The dashboard says I'm actually getting more like 380 miles on a full charge. I really like how the rear seats have a lot of room. The car feels very big. Would purchase this vehicle again. Especially from Hyundai Escondido and the wonderful salesperson Marcella.
