2026 Honda Passport Consumer Reviews
Pricing
Overpriced
I bought this car only because my previous car I was driving had been crashed into and I needed a car soon. I have the Trailsport Elite, to get any other interior besides black on the Trailsport you had to get the Elite, I really liked that it had a large sunroof only to find out it doesn’t open all the way. It was raining when I test drove it, my fault I didn’t try opening it. I don’t like the set up for the radio. I have had Sirius XM for years, this isn’t offered in the car. I have to connect my iPhone to Apple Play to make it work. This is a pain. The one major concern I have is when you try to break suddenly, it takes a few seconds for it to react. It is an odd feeling. The car rides ok, it does have some road noise you can hear with the windows closed unlike my BMW X5 that I previously owned. Overall I would say drive it a few days and ask lots of questions.

Handy vehicle
Very nice and well built I like the ride and handling. Also very quiet cabin and the vision from drivers seat is extremely good. Makes for a stress free drive.

Orange Crush!
Love this vehicle. Went to the dealership looking for a Pilot in black. After test-driving ended up purchasing (with the help of Edmund's pricing on both the trade in and new) a Sunset Orange Passport which drives impeccably. Super comfortable. The tech is awesome. We did not need the 3rd row and wanted a V6. The orange color is signature. I thought it might be a little bolder than we wanted, but I am actually thrilled we got it, and now I am all of a sudden seeing more and more newer orange vehicles on the road. Gotta live a little!

2026 Passport TrailSport Elite
Bells and whistles galore! Comfortable cabin with plenty of room makes the Passport TrailSport Elite a great ride! Haven’t been off road or in the sand yet but I’m sure it can handle it.
Passport to fun
Only been a week since taking delivery of my new Passport and I am very happy with my decision. I went with the Trailsport Elite in Ash Green and two-tone interior which has generated numerous compliments. I read and re-read Edmunds reviews for all the vehicles I was considering which swayed me to go with the Passport over several other vehicles. The reviews used the word “cavernous” and there is an amazing amount of usable space. And it’s comfy in both the front and rear seats. Biggest factor in making final decision was the V6 engine. Wasn’t interested in the turbo 4 banger. The Passport’s off-road chops are more than adequate for my needs while still be being a good road vehicle. The only unpleasant surprise was when I went to program my garage door opener only to discover that option wasn’t included! I would have expected that as standard for the Trailsport Elite trim level… and even basic trim - but I’m using my old school opener instead. Otherwise, very happy with my decision. Thanks to Edmunds for the assist in finding the right vehicle.
