Wonder Wagon

Bought the 2015 EX-L new in April 2015 and it is still running great, with only 156K miles travel time. When I bought a new 2025 Odyssey EX-L in December 2024, I decided to keep the 2015 as my truck. I removed the second-row seats and the center console between the front seats. This allows me to carry 4X8 sheets of plywood and 4X4X10' poles with the tailgate fully closed. I may not be able to carry trees or loose gravel, but it is cheaper to rent an open trailer than buying even a used truck. I did give my 2006 F-150 (with only 44K miles on it) to my great nephew since my wife was unable to get into the truck, even with the running boards. At my 75 years and with the truck's tailgate rather high, it was extremely difficult to lift and place loaded trash containers into the truck bed. I am most pleased with this decision. The only issue with the van was around 90K miles when the Check Engine Light came on. I took it to the dealer and it was a module that went bad -- no engine problem. BTW, the new 2025 van's center console can not be removed; so the 2015 van has been the perfect replacement for my truck.

Good Looks. Poor acceleration on low speeds

Maybe the best van in looks and interiors. Acceleration below 50 feels like failing transmission. Freaked out the first time I felt it. An online review talked about how Honda manages the cylinders and gears that makes you feel so at low speeds. Otherwise happy so far, in my one month ownership and 1200 mile driving to FL and back. Still have 2nd row seat recalls to be fixed. Waiting on Honda to come up with fixes.
