The Prius Killer
This car was made for CA bumper to bumper traffic. I’m averaging over 60 mpg when in traffic and around 50 mpg in normal highway speeds. After two weeks of ownership I’m averaging a combined 61.8 mpg. I drive mostly on the 101 in horrible traffic so I’m in EV mode a lot. It is the perfect car for this LA traffic. After 25,000 miles I’m still averaging over 62 MPG. Only maintenance has been two oil changes.

better than advertised mileage
I bought LX trim in July 2018. Mileage when driving slow in the summer and spring is about 60MPG (!) - better than advertised. It drops significantly during winter to about 40MPG. I also love the safety features ACC and LA. Very happy with the car. Update: June 2020: Still loving the car - same great mileage.

Top Notch Value for Money
Got this for my wife who is a teacher- she loves the interior, pickup speed and gas mileage driving everyday to work. We’ve owned the car for a little over a year now with around 15k miles and while I was a bit anxious last year taking a chance on a new model, Im convinced now this is a keeper- Honda has vowed her and me. I would say this is the most under appreciated hybrid ever. Super quiet interior compared to other vehicles in its class. Also this is a maintenance saver- only been to the dealership once a year so far for an oil change-makes sense it has a hybrid motor so does not use much oil. Total money saver! You could not ask for much more in this package!

Very disappointed
Cons -No spare tire. Front passenger seat very low and not adjustable. No left side blind spot detector. (What was Honda thinking?) Pros - Handles well and gets great gas mileage. Owned Priuses from 2002-2018. Switched to the Insight because the seats in the new Prius were really uncomfortable and it was ugly. After owning the Insight for 11 months we traded it in. Very disappointing.Hated the car so much that we got rid of it after a year and bought a Toyota

Avoid this car.
Well, I also bought this car but I will NEVER recommend. Let me explain why. Issues: 1. Traffic Sign Recognition System doesn't work when there is yellow background. 2. Traffic Sign Recognition System may show incorrect and weird values intermittentlym while making turn on the roads. You can drive and check if you have similar issues, in case you also have Honda Insight 2019. Not sure about 2020 or other years. These two issues are critical because you may vary your car speed depending on this system and you may get involved into car incident while on the road. I raised both issues to Kirkland Honda (WA), went there, showed them the issues and pictures with weird values. They initially told me they informed Honda and waiting for it. Later on, after one year, they replied it is limitation. I explained it is not limitation but they should fix it. They didn't bother to help. Eventually I sold it off. If you want more detail, please contact me, I will share the VIN number, my email changes with Kirkland Honda.
