Fun to drive, gas mileage, great dash and all controls, comfy seats, decent stereo Road noise but not a deal breaker (put on quiet tires) Gas and oil changes is all it needs plus 4 winter tires for canada winters

I traded in a 2017 CR-V Touring because it was cheaper to trade and get a warranty than to fix my previous car. I got the Sport trim. Of course I lost features and I do honestly wish the Civic had them. Although it's a brand new car I still worry constantly because I said I wouldn't buy another Honda. I do however go to a dealership I trust over anyone so I'm a little more at ease. I actually won't go into detail yet until I get 5,000 miles on it. Currently a little under 1,000 on it. Updated February 1, 2025: I am not super happy about the purchase as the new has worn off and Honda is showing their non-reliablity once again with an issue I feel I shouldn't be having. I'll be getting with the dealership as soon as I can to see if what is happening is normal but I believe it's the transmission acting up. Also the dealership is a good one from what I've heard but the price of the car was $3,000 more (you know added on things like tint, floor mats, trunk tray and the film protection) which the film protection is peeling off and it's the door edge guards and the door handle cups have bubbles in the rear ones with dirt under it. My salesman said to bring it in to be fixed 🙄😒. I honestly should have shelled out the money to fix my previous car but hey..., you learn from mistakes.

Road Noise! Tin can loud!

I purchased a 2025 Civic Sport on 3/29/25 and after one day of driving I’m ready to trade it off. 30k down the drain! My wife & I test drove it locally around the dealership and never took it out on the highway and that’s where we made a huge mistake. MONSTER MISTAKE! Anything over 40 mph and the people in the backseat won’t be able to talk to each other or have a conversation with the people in the front. Anything over 55mph on a concrete highway and you can’t hear the stereo unless it’s at half volume, and forget about having any type of conversation. It’s noisy!! All the previous reviews that complain about the braking and lighting issues are correct. As we left the dealership I about had an accident when the lane assist yanked the steering wheel and I about swerved into a passing car. Super scary and I’m glad my 16yr old daughter wasn’t driving it. I’m 55 and I’ve bought roughly 15 new cars in my time and this is by far the biggest disappointment. I gave it two stars because it looks nicer than the competitors but that’s being generous. It’s prettier than the competitors but drivability and road noise are a serious issue with the 2025 Civic Sport Sedan.

After just under a week of ownership, I can't really find anything to complain about. Coming from a 2014 Limited Avalon, I do miss the cooled seats, but that car was 40k quite some time ago. For $34,000, this current-generation Civic is unbeatable. I've driven everything in this segment, including many on 24-hour test drives, and the Civic Hatch Hybrid truly stands out above the rest. I highly recommend it!

The perfect Hybrid

This new Civic Sport Hybrid is hands down the best car I have ever owned. I’ve owned Lexus, Audi, BMW and Subaru and none of these vehicles came close to being as satisfying to drive and own. It was a breath of fresh air to buy a new vehicle that has the right amount of tech and performance wrapped into such a good package with the Civic Sport Hybrid. I was apprehensive at first about buying a hybrid but it all melted away once I drove the Civic. The effortless acceleration and nimble handling makes it feel like a much more expensive vehicle. The hybrid powertrain is smooth as glass and the transition from electric to gas or both yields no negative feedback during driving. The fuel economy of the vehicle is extremely good, no complaints there. The small amount of road noise is bearable and not a deal breaker. If you are on the fence about buying a Civic Hybrid, just do it! You won’t be sorry…
