Used 2019 Honda Civic Consumer Reviews
The Civic Si is a great, fun every day car.
The Civic Si is a great car and a great value. Performance is excellent - quick acceleration, great handling and ride, and an excellent transmission. The clutch is not my favorite as it is somewhat difficult to drive smoothly with some rev hang. The cloth sport seats are very supportive and comfortable. The car is great on twisty roads - it is fun to drive the car hard, but it also is a great commuter car when driven sedately. There is a lot of room in both the front and rear seats and the trunk is huge for a compact. Mileage has been consistently right around 35 mpg. The infotainment system is somewhat temperamental - sometimes my iPod works, sometimes it doesn't. The Apple CarPlay is nice, but a bit buggy on occasion. Overall, it's a great all around car - assuming it's reliable, I'll keep it for a long time.

Great car - with exceptions!
Do not expect to learn how to use the car's electronic features out of the Owners Manual. It describes many of the vehicles capabilities but falls way short (as in not at all) at giving you instructions how to operate them. It should be noted that 95% of the miles on the car are city driving.

Great efficiency car
It's a very practical car, I purchased a 19 civic sport. It handles well, and is great on gas. It accelerates well with sufficient power. It's a sharp, well put together car, a good quality purchase. Only a few quirky things to criticize, I am replacing the fog and low beam lights with LED. No sun roof in sport package, no spoiler, I will be adding one. Radio won't search stations that aren't preset. Tire pressure reset is inconvenient. Aside from that, I am now sold on Honda, I love my car very pleased with the quality.

Love the lx, but really wish I got the ex
I just turned in a 2017 civic ex hatchback on a lease and now leased a civic sedan lx. It's a beautiful white pearl color, sharp looking car for a sedan. But, no sirius radio, no heated seats. I stuck to my guns and wanted to spend no more than $250/mo on the lease. So, I got what I wanted, but if I had to do it again, I'd go for the ex. No sirius radio! :(

DO NOT BUY
Do not buy this car unless you purchase an extended warranty to cover the ac system. The coolant used is corrosive and destroys the ac system. Honda knows about the problem and will split repair costs with you 70/30 or 80/20. However, it is an ongoing problem and if you keep the car, it will happen again and again. Honda doesnt have it listed as a recall. Will not buy honda again.

2017 civic verses 2019 civic
We had 2017 civic silver plain we traded for a sharp ralley red sport civic one of the show room cars well we've been back and forth to Honda dealership 5 times emissions light came on and we were told by tech that this light comes on when fuel gage goes below half tank he reset it then air pressure light came on all the tires were fine he reset it then emission light came back on with full tank of gas. This car's really sharp but I'm starting to think our 2017 was a better car.

Sporty commuter car
Overall this is a great car. I leased the 2018 over the 2019 strictly based on cost. I wish this vehicle came with a sunroof option and a few more USB ports. Honda really needs to improve their Bluetooth connectivity sound while talking on the telephone.
