Used 2002 Honda Civic Consumer Reviews
honda civic '02
I love this car, no complaints at all. This car is great. But my only concern is the exterior design,'02 is not really bad at all, but would rather prefer '00(s) exterior design. I also have a '00 EX coupe and I love the exterior. Would recommend it to every body who likes value and reliability.
review for a 2000 vs 2002 EX sedan
I am writing this review for a 2000 because I think the 2002 is way-worse. Honda modified the 2001/2002 model and cheapened the components (like replacing the double-wishbone suspension with cheap regulal one). So, if you want good deal, look for a low- mileage 2000 model. It is probably the most reliable Civic ever made.
Silver Paperweight
Its a good car, but more like Ford than Honda. Picked it over Elantra for reliability and crash test data, Elantra more comfy & powerful, better stereo, & $3-4K less. Handling sucks (drive a new Corolla). Window regulators shouldnt break from normal use. Paint chipped after 100 miles! Only gets 25MPG! Headlights dim when driving. Trunk dumps water inside when opened (from lights on trunk). Gas & brake petals too close, knee hits steering wheel. Right foot needs more room (have big feet, bigger shoes). Headrest makes better door than window, blocks rear view. Sun visor clip too tight. Driver door creaks. Ridiculous oil change procedure.
Happy Driver!
I have had my 4 door 5 speed for a short while. I enjoy it. I have driven quite a few 5 speed Honda's. Compared to the old 1.6 L Civics, this engine actually has decent torque between 1500RPM-2500RPM (even compared to a VTEC Del Sol). Good back seat spacing, big trunk. It's not easy to fill up all the space.
You Have Got To Love This Civic
I love my Civic. It has had absolutely no problems and has run flawlessly. Love the style and the amenities that come in the EX model, like the moonroof and the A/C buttons. It has a powerful A/C that gets really cold and a super powerful heater. Tons of trunk room and is definitely built for 2, not 4 people. You can do it, but I wouldn't advise it.
