I find the 4 cylinder LX to be a great car for my personal needs. It has most of the options one could want standard. The steering is quick and responsive. The brakes are firm and reasuring. The manaul height adjuster on the driver seat is a great touch. The five speed automatic is very smooth, no sudden jerks or lunges at take off. My dealer experience was superb. I would highly recomend this car to anyone looking for a midsize sedan.

The accord just does what I want it to do -- It starts every time, drives with some fun and spirit, never breaks, and even looks a little racey.

I spent a few weeks researching what to get for my next car. I looked at the usual suspects and kept coming back to the Accord. I've owned two Honda's in the past so I was comfortable with the idea of getting another one. I have a family so safety is important to me, so after doing some research I decided an EX with Side Curtain Airbags (SCA) was what I wanted. I had some trouble finding one but this past weekend I was at my local dealer and found one on the lot. I got it for 21,600 and I'm very happy. This is a great car for the money, the drive-train and build quality is second to none. If your thinking about an Accord get it, you wont be disappointed.
It has some inprovements to be made.

I sell real estate and I get a lot of compliments on the car. As a full time driver with 30-35 thousand miles a year on a car I am in this automobile a lot. There is a clunking sound when you turn corners, back up a distinctive shift clunk! I hate that about this car.The second thing I did not like was the navigation system was not up to date. Any street that is 5 years or more was indicated on the system, but new things are not. They tell me the disks are updated every 5 years. In a area where there are new subdivisions and it constantly grows you need more up to date CDs. On star gives live up to the minute information.

Excellent handing and ride. Mileage has been great for a car this comfortable.
