More a sports car than a family car!

We love this car! This car is the best value for a family sedan in this price range. Whether it's the peppy and quiet 4 cylinder, smooth and firm suspension, or the terrific cabin ergonimics and feel, there's not much to dislike. The only things the competition has over this car are slightly larger size and more options available on the 4 cylinder models.

The Honda Accord has a wonderful ride and user friendly inside and out. Leather interior is impeccable.

Boring!

After about 38000 miles, I wish I'd bought a more roomy and drive-exciting CTS or Lincoln LS. This Honda (and Acura I've owned in the past) has become mundane to own!

2003 Honda Accord EX-L 5M

Just purchased a 2003 Accord EX-L 4-door 5-speed (manual) with 4 cylinder engine. Graphite gray ext., gray int. Only "option" was rear spoiler as it came with model on lot (dealer included at no cost). MSRP was $23,800, invoice $21,600, paid $22,400. Shopping internet makes buying much more pleasant. Car is beautiful and fun to drive. Didn't think extra $$$ was worth it for V6. Best car for the money as far as I can tell. Compared to Passat, Altima and 626 when shopping. Traded in a 1991 Mazda Protege. Looking forward to 12 years out of the Accord, too!

Good performance midsize car

Bought the EX V6 new in Jan. 03 and been happy with the car 30K later. I had several recalls work, most serious was the tranny. However, it started every time and have never broken down once in 5.6 years. It's fairly fast and hold it own against the BMW, Audi but at a much lower cost. Very good car for the money as compared to the Maxima or Camry. It certainly is not as luxurious as the Germans or Japanese high end but is a decent ride. Road holding is not great due to the tires. Mileage (23 MPG) is actually worse than my 1993 Maxima (25 MPG) mainly because of the 5 speed auto held back at 4th gear in city traffic.
