Used 2003 Honda Accord Consumer Reviews
Honda is NOT the best car for the money
JUNK. Three times back to dealer for leaking "shift selector shaft seal"; recall kit for 2nd gear done at 11,000 miles. "Grade logic sensor" causes high rpms as brakes applied downhill; dealer charged me $1,000 for a break job at 60k mi. Passenger side power door lock broke at around 40k mi (I hardly ever use the passenger side door) Radiator blew at 50k mi $400 repair. 36k "maintenance" was a $300 oil change; 65k mi trans fluid full, yet appears burnt. Svc. bulletin calls to replace at 120k mi?? Plastic wrap seal around window/door edges is warping and unraveling at 50k mi (2yrs ownership) WORST car I've ever owned. Can't wait to sell it and buy American.
Misleading
This car is awesome. Comfortable, good-looking, fast and smooth. Great all around and it still beats so many newer cars. However it is deceiving because this 2003 Accord is notorious for transmission failures and I was just one of several thousands to just find out. Do your research and you'll be shocked at the mess that is still happening. Honda has known about these awful transmissions since the cars' inception. So buyer beware if you're thinking of buying one now. It will cost you half if not more of it's value today in 2010 to get this manufacturer failure fixed by you. Honda American won't help although the car has much value left.

Awesome 6-speed Coupe
Honda really has thier act togehter this time.
Just a suggestion
I love my car but I had a friend get me front license plate made and I cannot put on the front of my car. I see that most of these Honda's do not have a place to put a front license tag.
Making Germany Jealous
I've moved up from the Honda Civic to the new Honda Accord. While driving, at times I feel like my Accord is hovering above the ground. The engine is so well made and insulated that it is rare to hear any engine noise. Smooth driving, solid, sportier looking than before, AND fuel efficient. What more could you ask for?! If this same car were made in Germany, it would be much higher priced.
