2,500 miles engine failed AT4 6.2L
Co for table truck but they have engine issues. At 2,500 miles mine shut off on a family road trip without warning while exiting highway. Started back up. 5 days later engine idled rough then stalled at stop light. Truck would shift out of park. Towed to dealer where we were on vacation. Dealer wouldn’t look at truck for 4-5 days and wouldn’t give me a loaner nor a rental. GM USA also was no help and claimed they contacted the dealer but never heard back. After dealer looked at the truck the code 0016 cam shaft out of alignement cleared and they could not duplicate. I asked if the trucks safe to drive back to Maryland from South Carolina and service rep says well I wouldn’t personally drive it back that far. Yet the dealer wouldn’t trouble shoot with out a code. After 14 days of getting no where with the dealer or GM USA I elected to pick up the truck myself. Luckily I’m an airline pilot so I jump seated down and picked up the truck. Drove 9mi and the engine ate itself. That was on May 22. New engine still not in and the dealer even said there’s another engine replacement ahead of me. GM USA is currently denying a buy back and I have contacted lemon law attorneys. DO NOT BUY A GMC!!!

2 years and 50,000 miles later, still in Love
Still love this vehicle! No issues or complaints. No other comparation on the road. GM dominates this space. All around a great car and ride. It fits our family and life perfectly with sports and traveling. We can travel for 10 hours in this car and remain comfortable and SAFE. It goes 75 mph effortlessly. The 10 speed transmission is a huge improvement from the old 6 speed. Checks all the boxes for our family. Truely hard to beat. Hope to trade into a new Yukon in 2025.

Do not buy
I purchased a new 2024 Yukon. I have never sat in such an uncomfortable seat, ever. Felt like you were sitting on uneven rocks. I purschased 3 different cushions and still was uncomfortable. The service department said there was nothing they could do except order a new seat which they said would be the same. I believe the addition of adding vibration alerts, bolster seat airbags, etc within the seat, may be the problem. It's sad to spend so much money that GMC cannot provide the comfort they had in past years. I traded with less than 1,000 miles. I would never had taken such a loss but I actually dreaded getting into this vehicle.
