GM beat japanese at own game.
I you are looking for a 4cyl to have the pick up as a Toyota with great gas mileage 2LT is the one to get. My Terrain rides better than Toyota 4 runner, and Mazda cx7. The leather seats are better than the leather I had in my Buick.

My Denali
Love this SUV! Just the right size for a retired couple. All the bells and whistles and very comfortable! 32 MPG in 2 wheel Drive makes this a great touring vehicle!
Former Cadillac SRX AWD
I traded my 2016 Cadillac SRX AWD for a 2019 GMC Terrain Denali. The Terrain had 11k miles and has every possible option available. It looks great in Ebony Metallic on black interior. The engine is the 2.0L turbo charged 4 cylinder and it has plenty of power. We took it on a 900 mile trip two weeks after buying the car and we were very much pleased with the comfort, handling, ride quality and gas mileage. For us, it has plenty space for anything we want to haul. Living in PA I had the opportunity to use it’s AWD in recent snow and ice conditions. Again, I’m very pleased with it’s performance!

Love the diesel
I have had GMC SUVs & trucks all of my life. This is my second Terrain but my first diesel. I love the mileage 45 plus on the highway & 32 plus around town. I have the SLE with the driver alert & the sun and sound package. It is very easy to see out of & drive. I have 2 other GMC my 19 Acadia SLT & a 4x4 17 Sierra Denali Crew cab standard bed. My wife & I enjoy driving all of these. They each have strong points. The Terrain is very wonderful highway cruiser. Do not buy a diesel if you are driving around town all of the time. I love everything about this SUV and like it so much better than my 13 Terrain. I like the fact that all of the controls are the Same as in my other GMC vehicles. The only problem I had was with the sunroof they fixed it with a new motor & a new track. It works great now. It handles and dives great on all types of roads. I am so glad I got the diesel because they made me an offer I couldn’t refuse $14,000. off of MSRP. The push button gears are easy to use. The auto start stop can be overridden by selecting the highest gear. In this case it is 6th or install a powered subwoofer under the back seat and that pulls enough power that the auto start stop will not engage . Updated review 2021 November. Everything is going great. This will be my last review update because I will be selling this to my son. He has be using it and liked it so much He asked to buy it from me. The only reason I am selling it is because my son wants and needs this. I wish they still made them. I will replace it with a GMC Terrain 2017 Denali with the 6 cylinder engine.
