The correct model is Denali AWD 4dr 3.6L V6. Edmunds didn't give me that option.

We did a lot of research and a lot of looking around before we decided on the GMC Terrain. Lots of test drives etc. We purchased our Terrain new Sept 2012. I am guilty of nitpicking a vehichle apart and I can say I am STILL as in love with our car as day one. The gas milage, the smooth ride, the very sharp interior just cant be beat. This is definitely going to be our forever vehicle.

I love the style amd how it looks different from most ofbthe current other suvs on the road. Some of the button locations were not intuitive to where they were on other cars i have driven. Once you discover where things are they dont have a disadvantage. 4cyl could he more peppy but what do you exoect with better mpg.

Love This SUV

We've owned our 2013 GMC Terrain Denali since 2015 and have zero major problems with it. The 2 minor problems were easily repaired. One problem was gas struts for the rear hatch started leaking and the dealer replaced them under the extended warranty. The second problem was moisture in the rear light assembly. I bought an OEM replace assembly and swapped it out. We plan to keep the car for many more years.

Worst vehicle I’ve ever owned

I absolutely loved the aesthetics on the 2013 GMC Terrain. But had nothing but problems with it. First thing to start happening was sensor lights. My car would lock down and not allow me to go over 25mph. Would be so scary. I would have to pull over and hope it would stop. I was afraid to turn my car off for fear it would not restart. I take to GMC dealer and would tell me I needed to spend $1000 each time. That would happen on and off and was very scary to take long road trips. Luckily my husband owned a tire store and he would hook it up to analyzing equipment and do things to it to turn off sensors. But it would always start back. I would call GMC cooperation and complain. I have always owned Toyota or Subaru vehicles up until then. You changed oil, tires, spark plugs, batteries, filters, windshield wipers, etc. You don’t have problems like that. GMC wouldn’t say anything when I would call and complain. I said I will never own another GMC. They didn’t seem to care. This vehicle was purchased in 2015 and it was only two years old at that time. Barley 32,000 miles on it. Then my hatch went out. My hatch would open when I pushed the button but would slam back down fast and just drop on you. So I literally had to keep a garden hoe in the back trunk to prop the trunk/ hatch open. I was always fearful that when someone or a kid came near it to load groceries or suitcases they would be injured. It was insanity. My dad is the one that rigged it for me when I had to take my mom out of town for a funeral. Again take to GMC and unless I wanted to spend money they could not help me. Even though I still had warranty. I absolutely had the worst experience with GMC customer service and support. I loved all the bells and whistles but it was the biggest piece of junk I’ve ever owned. When I had to drive two states away for a funeral and I prayed that my car would not bog down on the interstate with sensors and when I rarely utilized my trunk for fear of injury, I traded as fast as I could. I went back to Toyota and went back to basic maintenance. I could drive anywhere anytime with confidence.
