2024 GMC Acadia Consumer Reviews

Well pleased so far!
What a pleasant surprise. This large 3 row has exceeded our expectations in every way. We bought the Denali trim. The interior is outstanding and very versatile. At first I had my reservations buying a 4cyl, but this engine performs so well I don’t miss the V6 my problem laden Kia Telluride had. This vehicle can take most hills without so much as a downshift. I’m getting about 23 mpg average, we’re 70% freeway drivers. Zero issues to report 3800 miles in. I’ll be back to update every quarter.

Under powered
We have had our GMC Acadia AT 4 for just over 4K miles. We have had some glitches with the big electronic screen which is probably a precursor for what’s to come. The seats are not very comfortable the phone charger doesn’t seem to charge your phone. The lane assist makes you ride very close to the centerline of the roadway. I will say the mpg is better than I expected. This vehicle needs to have a V6 option for entering busy highways. The rear head rests don’t come out of the back seats so when you want to put the seats down for cargo the headrests hit the middle row and they don’t go flat. We were told the key fobs would remember seat position not true no seat memory in the AT4. We settled for this vehicle because a completely equipped Yukon was 75k.

Mini Yukon
Yes, it's like a mini Yukon—just the right size. Not too big, not too small, but perfectly balanced. Overall, I really like the car, but it does come with a few quirks. For instance, the 360° camera isn’t as crisp as some competitors. The brightness gives the illusion of clarity, but the image is not as crisp as it appears. Additionally, there are blind spots around the wheel wells where the image is blurry, making it hard to see those areas clearly. The self-parking feature is another limitation—it won’t park the car perpendicularly unless there are exactly two vehicles to guide it. That’s oddly specific and not always practical. And then there’s the engine. The turbo is... okay. It’s sluggish off the line—a bit of a turtle—but once it gets going, it’s fine for most situations. Despite these minor letdowns, it’s a solid car that I’m happy with overall

Looks sharp, drives smooth, updated tech
Needed a new car as our family grew to two children. Wanted 3 rows but an SUV that looked sharp, drove smooth, had lots of room. Loved the new Acadia immediately, super sharp looking vehicle so they knocked it out of the park with the redesign. Got the Elevation package, black out package, luxury package with moon roof, and super cruise. Car is on 22 inch wheels, black paint and rims. Interior is really nice and premium feeling and love the massive screen. Took a week or two to learn all the features but absolutely love driving this car with family or on solo rides. Only quirk I noticed is no door hook for hanging clothes. I’d say get super cruise if you do any highway driving. Cabin is very quiet and spacious, great seating position, seats are comfortable. The car isn’t a race car but it defintely can zip you along the highway especially when you put in sport mode. Only real knock I have is the sound system doesn’t have as much umph as other cars I have had. Wife has a 2020 Acura RDX and I think that sound system is better. May upgrade to have stronger bass but that’s a personal performance, average person probably won’t care as much.

Great SUV!
This SUV is stunning, period! Great road presence, larger interior, incredible tech, the 2.5 Turbo does its job, incredibly quiet when you get up to speed. It is very much improved over the 2nd generation. Very satisfied customer!
