Do not buy this suv! Within two weeks of buying the 2021 gv80 it developed a high pressure rule line leak. Within 250 miles I returned the gv80 to dealership and was informed that it did have a failed high pressure rule line. They have informed me that a replacement part is on back order with no eta. It’s been three weeks with no joy. Avoid this suv! Do not buy!

I bought a 2021 GV80 Advanced 4 weeks ago.22K miles. Nav wouldn't work.Updated and immediately went out again. Dealer couldn't get electrical system to talk to key device. Radio doing weird things. Took it back and traded for 2021 GV80 Prestige. Have had it a week and have had to jump start it twice. Absolutely love the car but having a 60K car that you have to carry a portable jumper battery is a little disheartening.

This may just be a regional issue, but both Genesis Dealerships I’ve been to were awful. Very unprofessional as a whole. Their customer support is the worst aspect of the GV80. If you have issues, better hope you have an above average general manager at the facility or else don’t bother getting a Genesis. The infotainment is ridiculously complicated even for someone who has a decent technology grasp. The entire menu is more like the old school outline English papers where you have categories with bullet points, etc. Very hard to remember where each subcategory falls. The GV80 is a gas guzzler, that’s all there is to it and it requires premium gas. Probably not the best time to be purchasing such a vehicle with the fuel prices as they are. I’m not crazy about the crystal rotating gear changer. If you have arthritic hands, look for another vehicle. While the GV80 is classy, and very much a luxury SUV, it lacks in several things. There is very little storage capacity in the cabin. The console is deep but narrow, making you have to rummage for what you put in there. The door storage is all but non existent. It will hold a man’s wallet or a hand sanitizer bottle and that’s about it. The room between the front and backseats is very much above average. My husband is 6ft and has zero complaints about leg room. My car has issues with the A/C turning off and my steering wheel heating up without being prompted. The backseat air vents had so much condensation on them, water was trucking down into the storage compartment below then onto the floor. The air vents for the front drive me insane. My windshield is forever fogging up b/c of where the vents are placed. And the touch screen is difficult to manage while driving. Learning the toggle is a whole other issue. All in all, pretty vehicle. Very luxurious, but I wouldn’t buy another one.

Looks gorgeous, one of the best looking suv. Has enough power, drives beautifully - enough power punch, smooth, quiet, comfortable. Luxurious, quiet and tech enabled inside.

I purchased the Prestige two months ago. It’s electronics and the operators hand book are a nightmare. If I want to use any of the cars functions I go to YouTube. Last year we purchased a Mercedes 450 GLE it is a much superior vehicle. It’s a nice car to drive, but can be awful to operate. The car comes with a bunch of manuals that just not user friendly. If anyone wants to buy one make sure you get a through briefing from your sales person. The car is better supported on YouTube than by the handbooks that come with it.
