I call her Torquey!!
Love this car. Best interior design, period. Still under 800 miles so not pushing it yet, but boy o boy, be careful in Sport+ mode. She gets up and goes. And the luxury is amazing. Quiet and soft ride when you want to ride in style. Sport mode spices it up quickly! Open the amazing sunroof and turn up the music on a cool sunny day and it is paradise 💜💜

Love my sporty GV70
I really debated with myself over this vehicle but I'm glad I went with it. I had been shopping for Lexus, Infiniti or BMW but drove the Genesis because I wanted to purchase a car locally. It is loaded with safety features and just as quiet and smooth as the higher-end luxury cars. It's great so far.

Lexus to Genesis
After 25 years of being Lexus owner I decided to try something else. Love the Genesis so far and can’t believe the ride is better, quieter and lots more options. The only negative so far is lacking in storage for the front seat. The technology has a learning curve but I think will be attainable. I haven’t taken a long trip yet but so far I am happy with my decision.

Too many adjectives for GV 70 Adv 2.5
I have a 2024 GV 70 Adv 2.5 and I love it. I downsized from a 2020 Limited Palisade which I also loved. It’s quite agile and fun to drive. The look of the car is sleek and stylish. Get lots of compliments on it. The drive is smooth and road nose is minimal with exception to really bad roads. It handles really well in all driving conditions and especially open roads. Super fun in sport mode but I only use it if I am trying to quickly navigate in difficult traffic. I carry my granddaughter in the back and it can be a tad snug with the car seat. Seats are comfy. Can see out of it well. Safety features are truly worth the money. They help with I park and drive. I find them very accurate. Would recommend this car to anyone.

Rust, Rear End
Have a car that is only 12 months old and rust is already starting around the door. Had noise in the rear end it took the dealer five weeks in the shop for repairs.
looks cool, drives cool, not very functional cool
We (wife and I) bought the GV70 about 6 months ago. Drove it from FL to Michigan and back. We love the styling of the exterior and interior of the car. Very sharp car. The car handles fantastic. Great ride. However, we think the technology is way over the top and pretty complicated overall. The transmission dial (PNRD) is directly below the same sized dial for managing the various aspects of the car on the center console. We have, on multiple occasions, turned the wrong dial. The paddles for shifting manually, mounted behind the steering wheel, on each side, have been accidentally touched multiple times and this is very annoying. The voice activated navigation system isn’t nearly as efficient and accurate as my GMC Acadia Denali. It can take up to a minute for it to locate my command location, ie 1234 XYZ street City State. And often times it simply doesn’t work. If you are not technology inclined and like the basic buttons and dials for managing temperature comfort, and radio not sure I can recommend the GV70. I would strongly recommend that you do an in-depth test drive before the purchase.

Awesome vehicle!
I picked up my 2023 2.5 Sport Prestige Mauna Red GV70 just before Thanksgiving (2022) and just love getting in it every time I need to go somewhere. Everything is smooth and tight...very luxurious. I'd say the "usual suspects" (BMW/Audi/Benz/Lexus, etc.) probably need to be looking over their shoulder at Genesis. It looks great, it drives great, it rides great, the tech is intuitive and VERY full-featured. I love flipping the drive mode to "Sport" and feeling the seat bolsters firm up. The exterior styling is incredible...the vehicle looks GREAT!

Great on the front end, a disaster on the back end
I unfortunately own a 2024 GV 70. Genesis has all the bells and whistles on the front end but after you get past the surface, this company is a complete disaster. The promise of a loaner vehicle for scheduled maintenance, when requested, we found out the loaner vehicle was not really going to be available. We moved from Florida to Montana, upon our arrival we went to register the car in Montana, received temporary tags and Genesis took several months to send the title to Montana for the vehicle. Montana only provides one 30 day temp tag, leaving our car undriveable. Genesis finally sent the title to Montana while we are away, and then recalled it when we didn’t register in time (we were not home). We continue to be without a car to drive. Currently the “expediter” Sandra put us at the back of the line and will contact in a week, with no empathy for the situation. They are very good at reminding me my payment is due, not so much for customer service on the backend. Dumping this car. Buyer Beware.
Beautiful car, issues right away
I bought this car and was super pumped when I got it. It’s gorgeous. Everyone compliments it, but I don’t even have 2,000 miles on it and already have issues with the car. At around 700 miles it started with a house when you’re accelerating. I took it to the dealership and they told me it’s a complaint most GV70 owners have. I haven’t been able to truly enjoy my car. I just got it and I regret it.
Six months later and I’m still undecided
Loved at first sight, I loved how it drove, the overall “feel” of the car and the smoothness of the ride. Now that I’ve had it for six months I’m not so crazy about it anymore. The information system is difficult to reach, the navigation system is extremely difficult to operate, I use Apple play for directions. $55,000 on a car and I have to use Apple play. If I had to do it over I think I would get an Audi. UPDATE: I traded the Genesis for a Lexus. I am more comfortable in the Lexus and very sorry to see the Genesis go but I needed peace of mind.

Babes T’s “G”
it’s a fun and smooth ride, very comfortable, love my color on the outside, and hoping to keep my Genesis for retirement. There are a lot of buttons to learn, this may take me some time... but am willing to learn my GV70. So far, I am very pleased with my Genesis!!!

A “poor man’s” Mercedes/BMW
Has Everything and More you pay for with the “badges”. Tight backseat(expected) .One has to pay too much for rear seat climate controls.

Great Car when it works
Love love love this car but recently turned it back in under the lemon law process. I had driven it 17,000 miles. GV70 3.5, loaded. Can't find anything I like as well to replace it with, but I also need a car I can depend on.

Hell of a vehicle
Great vehicle, sporty, comfortable and classy all in one. Would recommend to anyone trying to purchase a premium suv
Buyer Beware!
I have owned my GV70 for a year now and in the process of filing a lemon law. I like the GV70 and feel it is a good SUV, the problem is service. When you buy a luxury vehicle you expect quality service from the waiting area to the mechanics that work on your car. Unfortunately, Genesis falls short on both. I have owned other manufactures luxury cars and they dont mix there non luxury brands in the shops or waiting areas to get fixed, this is poor planning by Genesis. Try dealing with their Corporate Tech support and you get a bunch of talk but no help in resolving the problem that local shop cannot handle. In all very poor and have made the choice after having my GV70 sitting on dealer lot for other 2 weeks with nothing resolved to call it quits with Genesis.

GV80 2023 SEATS HORRIBLE
Just purchased the GV80. While it is beautiful, the seats, especially the drivers seat has put me on the couch for 2 days. Uncomfortable doesn't even name it. Stiff, bar in area not needed, no comfort in hip area. Not pleasant to drive.

A SURPRISE!
Excellent car with lots of pep, comfortable seating & well placed guages Quality throughout. I was looking for a car to replace my Lexus RX350. Came close to purchasing the vehicle but decided to stay with Lexus. The Lexus has proven durability and more responsive steering.
WE GOT IT!!!
Beautiful & unique vehicle. Loaded with tons of features. The ride & drive is superior and attention to fit & finish is obvious. Delighted with the decision to go with Genesis.
Almost perfect :0/
I LOVE my GV70. The only thing I dislike about it is the poor gas mileage and that I was unable to add a heated steering wheel in with my package. Other than that it's a fantastic automobile.
Nice ride
Like to vehicle more than I ever thought I would z
Drives and acts like a Bentley
Full featured tech, rocket sled fast and smooth and quite as a Bentley. Much nicer than my BMW X-3. The only downside is Apple CarPlay IS NOT wireless.

Great Value
Lets start with negatives. Not enough up front storage. Lotsa technology but is sketchy. My connected services disabled and I had to bring it back to the dealer to fix via reboot. Finger print seems overkill. Rear seating sucks. Auto parking is quirky. Positives killer styling. Steering is responsive given the cushy cloud like ride. 16 speaker sound system is awesome. Play my Jelly Roll. AC gets cold brrrr. Ventilated seats are nice. Overall thousands less than Mercedes and BMW but just as nice if not better.
Love my GV 70!
My car handles the road superbly! I love all of the features and style. I am a fan!!!!! Love it.

My Baby Genesis
This suv was my first choice among all of the other competitors. After do my research, the safety features, pricing, specifications, color selection, and availability helped me to make the best decision ever. The ambient lighting adds so much zest to this luxury suv. Not to mention, during the transition from dust to dawn; you're greeted with the Genesis illuminating lights when you open the doors. All I can say is WOW, as I have already received so many compliments on my new 2024 GV70 SUV Advanced Pkg. The drive is very quiet and smooth.

Almost perfect
The ride is smooth & quiet. The sound system is great.I love all the tech in this SUV. It’s really a terrific car BUT don’t expect the mpg on the sticker even if you drive in Eco mode.I think it should have wireless car play instead of having to upgrade to the higher model which is $10k more.Lastly I set my soft tap turn signal(to change lanes) 5 clicks. It keeps resetting it to 3. Bottom like it is a terrific vehicle.
Great - except for steering wheel
This is a beautiful car in the Advanced package… except for the incredibly ugly steering wheel. Everything else is so modern but I can’t get over that wheel and won’t pay the extra 5k for sport package just to get rid of it.

THE GENESIS GV70 IS CLOSE TO PERFECT
I had 3 audi a7's (one of the best vehicles on the road in all respects) however starting with the 2019 version it became a software nightmare and the infotainment screen was always dark - their recall failed so I left it at the dealer. the GV70 rides great, excellent comfort and interior. the flaws are it does not offer adaptive headlights (major safety concern where I live), it should be offered with a mild hybrid or a non plug in real hybrid. NOW THEY ARE GOING ALL ELECTRIC - THE BIGGEST BLUNDER OF ALL. SO I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER GENESIS.

ear pressure
GV70 2.5 2023 There is ear pressure, going low speeds. Ears feel like they are in an airplane climb. I am not sure if I am going to by it. I took the 3 day clause as you never know by driving it at the dealership. I had the same experience with Kia, wondering if this is a Korea thing. I had my son drive it and he noticed it also. Beautiful car, but I don't want to think of my ears when i am driving. My BMW does not have this, or my VW. Well, I gave the GV70 back to the dealer. Not saying this is not a good car, just not right for me.
Genesis GV70 Impresses
I love the look and engineering of this car. Among the many great features of the car and the Genesis relationship, the dealer will pick up my car for servicing for three years free. I bought extra years of that service. The price for the car was about $5,000 cheaper than similar cars (and the GV70 stands up to all of them when it comes to engineering and style).
