best Car I have ever owned
Went to the Phoenix Auto Show this Fall and sat in and compared 12 different high end brands. I drive back and forth from AZ to IND as a snowbird and as we were downsizing to one car so I wanted a car large enough for hauling but comfortable enough to make a 2,000 mile trip seem painless. A lot of the competitors just faked it with high end price tags and badges, but were lackluster when you sat in them. Only a couple had the comparable room, comfort and features. Those few were tens of thousands higher in price. The Genesis was next to the Toyota Booth at the Show and all you hear throughout the venue was Toyota blaring about their new bigger Camry. So much NOISE. Until we sat in the G90. You could hear a pin drop. My wife looked at me said I am done looking. I want a G90. She actually should be writing this. On these long trips she has never found a passenger seat with enough support to keep us driving more than two hours at a time. On our recent trip back to the Midwest we typically stopped at 400 miles to fuel up. A car in this class should be quiet, comfortable, powerful, loaded with tech and safety. This G90 doesn’t disappoint. My only regret is I still haven’t riden in the back seat which I hear is the best seat in the house!!! Update at just over 16,000 miles. Wow! This car continues to impress. This fall we had back to back 750 mile days driving out to AZ. Piece of cake. We pulled into the hotel, looked at each other and was amazed that we still weren’t tired. Have seen the early pics of the 2020 Model and no changes to the interior. Doesn’t surprise me. It’s already terrific!

Moving from the A8 to the G90
Drove a fully loaded Audi A8 for the past 3 years and decided to check out the G90. Had it about a month so far and very happy with it. All the toys of the A8 and quieter, smoother ride. Doesn't have the brand recognition yet but seems to have everything else at a lot less money!

G 90 is still at the Top
The Genesis G 90 is my newest along side of a 2013 Mercedes SL 550 and a 2017 Lexus RX 350. I traded my dream car of 2004, a BMW 745 LI which MSRP’d at $81000. The G90 MSRP’s at $70000. The G90 has almost all the options available, minus the Entertainment Center for the back seats. I recently took my first long round trip of approximately 500 miles and it was the first time everr that I finished each way without any noticeable back pain. The G90 costs tens of thousands less than the flag ships of the “Big Three” (BMW, Mercedes and Lexus). I read the relevent reviewers that I always rely on and I am very happy with my new G90. As of now, the G 90 stands equally tall alongside of the “Big Three” and if, in my opinion, this continues to be the case, the Genesis Brand Name will only need the creative marketing efforts that will help people to know the truth about Genesis.

As a lease it's a beast
I have now driven the car almost 15,000 miles, Still think it is a very nice car, the dealer or service is not good. At 2800 miles a rear tire blew out on the highway, Continental said tire could be replaced, dealership had to call them for replacement. Dealers service advisor told me " I don't do that" Had to pay for replacement tire my self. To be fair to Genesis, I was later reimbursed for the tire, But not the cost of another temporary tire to get 2400 miles home as we were on a trip. Next thing air bag light came on, was getting ready for trip to North Carolina from Arizona. Dealership said they fixed problem. 200 miles on trip air bag light comes on. Couldn't get fixed till North Carolina. 350 miles in to return trip air bag light is on again, traveled all the way back to Arizona before could get it fixed again. Works after 3rd time fixing it. Now the present problem. No heat at all. Took 3 days before I could get it looked at. Now been in shop over 2 weeks and driving a Hyundai Sonata while paying for a G90 Ultimate. Part for heating system water line broke, No one has the part. Repair has been promised but put off 3 different times, as no part for dealer. Dealer has no G90 loaner as still waiting for new Genesis vehicles to come in. Last Genesis vehicle for me, while I love the car, poor service and I must have gotten a lemon. Will go back to a KIA K900 as my service with last one was great and no problems at all. That dealership always had loaner car waiting for me at service time and waiting room was even better. First review was great before I had driven 2000 miles, Still like the car, service stinks. Needs own dealership what a deal. For the money it can't be beat. car rides like it was made for the highway. Rides like a true luxury car, not a sports coupe. That's a pro not a con. While it burns more fuel in the city, it is not an economy box and not meant to be. Almost every safety feature you could ask for. doesn't have night vision, but who uses that? Doesn't have automatic parking, Then too I like to park my own car. Lane keep could use a little polish. There are but a few things I would have liked to see. 1 -Power sun roof shade. 2 -2 more usb ports. 3 -Front seat extenders for passengers seat 4 -front door map pocket should have flip out side like the KIA K900. So much easier to get things in and out, holds them securely. 5 -Front of map pockets, both sides) should have a water bottle holder built in. 6 - Touch screen for all functions. Yes it is a touch screen but only works that way in free text search mode. 7 - apple car play and android play 8-Input for rear screens for game controllers and blue tooth head phones 9-DVD player in back seat for the rear screens, only one now is in glove box. 10- mobile hot spot and internet access. Maybe thru some business like Sirius XM or apple play with access to movies for children None of these are a deal breaker or put down, just want potential buyers to know what I saw could be added. Now for the good This car rides soo smooth, has plenty of power, keep the ESP turned on as it can spin the tires without it. Almost drives it self when you use turn on lane keep and set the cruise control on. Keep a hand on the steering wheel or it will tell you, keep hands on wheel. Car seems to know everything you are doing, or not doing. Seats are so comfortable, they seem to me more comfortable than the BMW 7 or the Mercedes S seats. Try them and see you owe that to your self. Such a reasonable price. Don't miss this car. Call and Genesis will bring a car to you for a test drive. Absolutely no problems with car and delivery was perfect, they took great care of me. Took a 3 year lease and there is not maintenance costs involved. They pay oil changes, even wiper blades or brake pads. I get 18000 miles per year an have coverage so no extra charge for scratches , dings, wear or tears, worn tires are no cost at lease end. Dealer washes car for free anytime I want and come pick up car leave me a free genesis loaner car and return it where I want it for all maintenance. Yes there are a few cars that are a little more refined but you will sure pay extra for that. like 20000, 30000,or even 40000 more for same thing. everything is standard so no real extra costs. To many good things to list or say about this car, check it out for yourself. looking forward to summer for lots of travel

Finest Luxury Car In the World that Nobody Knows
This is the finest luxury sedan in the world that nobody knows about. This is because Genesis totally botched the product launch of this vehicle and all the marketing dollars go now only to SUV's and not sedans. I ordered my 2019 5.0 Ultimate model in July of 2018, and it took 7 months to arrive. It didn't come in until the end of January 2019 in the color and configuration I wanted. That being said, my insurance company tells me this is the 24th car I've insured in 40 years of driving, but it most assuredly is the best by far. All I can tell you is everything is just........Right. Car and Driver calls it the "zen catacomb" and I would totally agree with this description. The car only has a few nitpick items, and none of these should stop you from buying the car. The turning radius is huge, due to the long wheelbase and All Wheel Drive (AWD), but it's tolerable. The dashboard is non-symmetrical and sort of slopes down and falls off to the right, and that really takes some getting used to if you're expecting symmetrical balance and level dashboards . Like many imports, the damn designers leave no place to hang a front license plate, so the dealer will set you up with this plastic flap tongue thing that hangs from your grille, and looks fairly ugly and out of place. It's also pretty hard to do a quick sound system volume change using volume control on the steering wheel without triggering it to go full mute - it's a switch design issue. Lastly, the car is about an inch and a half too low. I know letting air under the car is a bad thing and affects mileage, but in the real world there are parking garage ramps and driveways with 30 and 40 degree slopes out there and it's hard to navigate these without grinding the chin skirt off. On the upside, there are no options with whatever model you pick, and everything is included. It is a fabulous car. This car is a category killer, and you'll be beating the best that Mercedes and Audi offer in the $120K range, but only paying $76K. Fantastic value.

Great Car but Questionable Corporate backing
First off, this car is technically a marvelous vehicle and a pleasure to drive. I bought it in August 2019 and one of the main selling features was the Concierge/Valet support when the car is serviced. Unfortunately for me, the dealership I bought from discontinued carrying the Genesis brand in Jan 2020 and the nearest dealership is now 85 miles away. The Valet service also went away. According to Genesis headquarters, the Valet service is provided by the dealership (not Genesis) and is limited to a radius of about 50 miles from the dealership. This despite all the claims on Genesis websites that the Valet service is a benefit of purchasing a Genesis. No satisfaction received after numerous calls to their headquarters. Might as well have bought a Ford or Chevy - No Luxury car owner special treatment from these people.

Continuing vibration & noise
If you're a fan of older Lincoln Continentals or Cadillacs this car is equally luxurious, filled with high tech and gives a similar ride. Unfortunately since delivery of the vehicle with less than 100 miles on it I've had vibration issues resulting in a dozen alignments and road force balancing, a new front axle, new drivetrain, new front tires, transfer case and the vibration is still there. I have wind noise from the driver's window that persists after FIVE attempts to repair. The puzzling thing is I also own a Genesis G80 that has been pretty much bulletproof. Think I just got a lemon although steering and chassis vibration is a persistent complaint amongst G90 owners.

Huge bang for the buck!
As previously written by another reviewer, "as a lease, it's a beast!" This car seems like a MB S550 knockoff with no luxury appointment sacrificed for 2/3 the price with a better warranty, service included, and valet pick-up/delivery. Every option like upgrade is included as standard. You could not get any options on the G90 Ultimate 5.0 because every one that Genesis makes is already on it, standard. It's is the nicest and best car I've leased/owned including the Cadillac CTS-V. I will lease another one when this lease is up.

The South Korean Mercedes S class sedan
After almost 5 years of ownership, I have just over 30 thousand miles on the odometer, but my view of the car is that it is still a terrific bargain. The car I purchased at the end of February 2020 was/is a brand new 2019 Genesis Ultimate G-90 V-8 all wheel drive sedan. I have previously owned two new Lexus LS Sedans (before buying a new LX 570 in 2015 and another new one in 2021 after trading in the 2015). The G-90 is every bit as good as the Lexus LS sedans. And I didn’t like what Lexus did to the NEW LS sedan, by taking away the V-8 and making the styling so swoopy and ugly. The G-90 Ultimate V-8 AWD is a handsome and competent machine with an excellent ride, outstanding road feel and its fit and finish are impressive. And it is a bargain compared to what Mercedes and Lexus want for a comparable machine, that I think is even BETTER than the Lexus. With a 124 inch wheel base, the ride is limousine smooth with a competent suspension. On our Southern Virginia back roads, my wife complains that I drive it like my Corvette, because it takes the curves and hills and high crowned roads at high speed with aplomb. The eight speed transmission is silky smooth and the 5 liter 420 horsepower fuel injected V-8 makes passing on 2 lane back country roads a snap. The cars being passed must wonder what that blurry Bentley-like car was because it went by so fast, they had no clue as to its make. The interior is incredibly comfortable and I can load up the trunk with many hundreds of pounds of cargo and the engine, tranny and suspension barely notice. This all wheel drive V-8 powered silky smooth machine is a bargain at $50,000 less than a Benz S-class................just like the original Lexus LS sedans in the early and mid 2000’s before Lexus ruined them and upped the price. Snag a {used} low mileage V-8 one because the turbo V-6 engine they are putting in the new Genesis cars is an embarrassment compared to the V-8. The all wheel drive works wonderfully in slippery conditions at low and high speed........these cars are a joy and a steal. Everywhere I go and park, I return to find someone gawking at the car and inevitably asking me what it is and how much I like it. This car is a keeper. Along with the Lexus LX 570, the V-8 G-90 AWD Ultimate is a road car with manners that handles road imperfections with aplomb and carves through sharp hilly curves as if it was a train on railroad tracks. BUY IT. Comfort, excellent handling, smooth and powerful acceleration and amazingly good gas mileage. And the Service has been great at my local dealer. If I didn’t already have a G-90 AWD V-8, I would go looking for a 2022 (the year they stopped making the V-8) today. EVERYTHING I said in the original review still pertains. We have taken this car on many long road trips and it performs almost as well as my Corvette ragtop, yet the ride is so silky smooth and comfortable that my wife with a just replaced knee can ride home from the hospital in it comfortably in the back seat as if she was in a stretched limo. The right rear seat has a 22 position adjustment with heat and cooling. 2022 was the last year for the naturally aspirated 420 horsepower 5 liter V-8, so if you can snag a newer low mileage G-90 Ultimate AWD, hurry up before they are gone. The 2023 and later models are V-6 ONLY and the price tag has gone up by almost $30,000. HURRY UP before the 2022’s with the V-8 are gone ! You will not regret it. UPDATE in November of 2024: still a great touring sedan with impeccable road manners and an athletic suspension with an agile and responsive drivetrain. If you can find a used G-90 Ultimate all wheel drive with the 5.0 420horsepower V-8, BUY IT. That wimpy V-6 with turbos is no match for this car.

"Acceleration failure" - Genesis phraseology
My 2018 G90 has an acceleration problems which the dealer and "engineers" at Genesis acknowledge but will not help with or repair. Upon abrupt acceleration, like making a left turn in traffic, the car hesitates for three terrifying seconds before it lurches forward. In addition when attempting to accelerate from a stop it is very hesitant to move forward when called upon. I find this highly unsafe and infuriating. The dealer told me quote " WE were able to locate (on computer) the acceleration failure you experienced." "This is simply how the car operates, new tech knowledge, ya know ?" "You are going to have to get accustomed to this idiosyncrasy of the car." The people at Genesis Customer Care, after 5 days of research, claim that their "Engineers" are aware " of the hesitation problem" and that is the way the car operates. I was very unhappy and hired an attorney and am proceeding on my journey> I want the car to go when I want it to. Fair request?

Update 8/2021 My second Genesis and perhaps last.
1. Issues with windshield wipers that turn on during the dry, hot summer. 2. Heated and cooled seats stained when used. Dealers keep passing off to the dealership I purchased it from, which is 250 miles away. 3. Scheduling service through Genesis connect doesn't work. The dealer never receives the information about the appointment, so you're waiting for hours to get seen. 4. They lie about the valet service that you get as a genesis owner. The truth is it's the dealer's choice if they offer the service as well as a loner. 5. Service department didn't put my lower bumper screws and underbody soundproofing on correctly, and now I can't even drive over a speed bump anymore without dragging the underbody. I returned to the dealer and informed them of what is going on. They said they replaced it, and when I drove off the lot, I pulled over and saw they did nothing to fix the issue they caused. 6. Calling and trying to voice a complaint through genesis connect is worthless because they are a third party and say they have no way to deliver my concerns to Genesis. 7. Updated March 2021 I noticed that the rear of my genesis G 90 was sagging, and there was no wait in the truck. I went to Genesis of Downtown Birmingham, Alabama, known as Jim Burke Hyundai/Genesis, and spoke with Rusty Pickle. After troubleshooting, they decided to keep my vehicle for about a month to determine what is causing the car to sit so low. They brought in a technician from the plant, and they decided they may need to replace my suspension if they could not get it fixed. After a month, I received a call from Rusty stating my car was ready. However, when I arrived, I pointed out that the vehicle was not fixed. Rusty assured me that it was good when they brought it out, so the next step was to replace the suspension. I had to go to Texas for a quick trip and told him I would bring it back so they can order the parts and correct the issue. Rusty inside the vehicle was still safe to drive back to Texas and was trying to get me to have it done in Texas. I explained that I would only be there for two days, plus they (Jim Burke Genesis/Genesis of Downtown Birmingham knew what was going on with the vehicle since they had it for a month. Rusty said when I return, give them a call so they can schedule the repair. Once I returned, I did precisely that; unfortunately, Rusty did not answer his phone. I left messages with various people at the dealership and have yet to receive a call. I discovered from a salesperson that the dealership doesn’t want to do warranty repairs because they don’t make any money off of it, so they would instead pass it off to someone else. This is what I believe Jim Burke and Genesis of downtown Birmingham Alabama has done to me. 8. Update as of 8/3/2021, after getting a service for my 30,000-mile maintenance at Genesis of Hoover, I drove off the lot, and when I reach speeds at about 65 to 70 mph, a horrible rattling noise was coming from the driver side. I pulled over on the highway because I thought they left the hood open. However, the hood was closed, and I couldn’t locate where the noise was coming from—as I continue to drive, the noise got louder. I would have gone back to the dealer, but they closed on me. I turned up my radio to try and cancel out the noise, but it didn’t work. The sound is coming from the driver's side. I went to the Genesis forum, and many other customers are having the same issues, and no one has gotten a real fix for the problem. I stopped at Genesis of Auburn to have the issue addressed, and a salesman told me that he heard of one car that had the problem. They brought in tech from the Genesis plant but admitted. It took them serval attempts to correct the problem. Genesis knows they have issues with the vehicle but acts like there are no issues. I can respect, and Company gives customers the option to get feedback regarding issues with their car and what they like about it.

I think it's great!
Only had it for a week but I love the ride and the abundance of luxury all the way around! Everyone at work has been complimenting it! Not too hard to learn the many features. Can't confidently speak on reliability yet.
One year in on my G90
Over the years, this is my third Hyundai/Genesis vehicle. I traded in a Sonata @135,000 miles. Still have the "first generation" Genesis @97,000 miles, and going strong with zero issues. Finally, bought the 2018 G90, and it's exactly "as advertised"! After a little over a year, we've been very pleased with all aspects of this vehicle. "Road Trips" are great in this comfortable, quiet, and easy to drive vehicle. No issues at all - except maybe getting someone to drive, since the back seat is really the place to be!

Nearest Thing To A Cruise Ship?
I found the conservative exterior design to be a little too conservative. If so, the interior made up for that very quickly. Rather than describe the interior as conservative, I would describe it as classic, and I mean that in the best possible use of the term. It was so opulent (in some ways) that I wondered during the test drive if it was a little TOO opulent. I am a gay man who loves fine dark wood antique furniture, so that is saying something. I haven't purchased one yet. I am not a fan of white nor the steel grey versions that the showroom had. I think the somewhat conservative exterior design would look better in black or a richer color. The lines of the car are really nice, even if unassuming. I drove the V8 top of the line, and the rear seating area was almost of limousine proportions where one could control most of the car from the back. I found myself thinking that this much effort on the rear compartment was a bit of a waste for a single man! But the V8 and rear wheel drive were a really nice combination. There was nothing mechanically I would be unhappy with. In a car like this. if you drive it the way this kind of car is meant to be used, I think most people would be very pleased with it. Without being as nit-picky as professional car reviewers are, I thought the fit and finish was very well carried off, and nothing in the interior switch gear, etc, stuck out as being cheap or substandard. My favorite thing about it all is that this really wonderful car has been brought to fruition by a company I wouldn't have sneezed at 20 years ago. I would be proud to drive a Genesis just because I like the idea of driving a wonderful car that IS NOT what everyone else out there is hankering for. It is quite a bit nicer than the first of the Lexus vehicles Toyota came out with.

The best luxury car for the money
After leasing this car for almost 4 months it is very hard to find anything that I don’t like. It is already my third Genesis, first two under Hyundai brand. Every new iteration is significantly better in ride, comfort and look. The third one beats everything I drove so far. The 3.3 bi-turbo engine is so alive and powerful especially in sports mode, it feels like a sports limousine, the ride can be adjusted however you like it, interior well made, comfortable and very, very quiet. The whole infotainment system work well and looks great, all around cameras top notch. Also it has free text mode touch screen that is very useful for quick address entry in navigation system. I found out very few people know about it. Safety systems are all included even in Basic model and work very good. Love head up display. Beautiful color adjustable ambient lights. If I want to be very picky I can say gas mileage could be better, adjustable rear seats should be an option for every trim but then I have to think really hard. Overall I’m very happy with my choice. Great job team Genesis. PS We like it so much both of my sons got G80s and they love it.

The best automobile on the road for the money
I have owned six Lexus's and a Kia k900 and the Genesis is by far superior for the money and tops the others in all respects. I have had it about five years and only one problem... brakes locking.l. 3/15/22: I have had my G90 for three years and have had zero problems. It is one of the best cars I've owned which is about twenty five. I've owned six Lexus vehicles and I find this Genesis to be overall better than a Lexus. A comparable Lexus vehicle would cost about $25,000 more. If you have wondered about buying a Genesis I would recommend that you go ahead and do so. I hope you will not be disappointed.

What a DEAL
I have owned and driven a variety of luxury vehicles from Lincoln, Cadillac, and Audi, but this one is the best deal ever! This is perhaps not the best execution of a luxury auto, as I really loved my Audi's, which had better execution of handling/ride/fuel economy and technology, but the cost at which to achieve that better vehicle does not justify the price. Genesis has done a great job creating a seriously comfortable car with lots of goodies to wow you. Tack on that Genesis is having a tough time moving these cars as many people are choosing SUV's, plus a lack of brand prestige that comes with a name like Lexus, Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Inifinity, Acura, Lincoln, Jaguar or Cadillac among mainstream luxury. But, those difficulties and an updated upcoming 2020 model, allowed me to make an awesome deal at the end of the year because of incentives and get one for over $10K below list. What was already a great deal, became an awesome deal. At this price, I can sacrifice not having a perfect luxury and I don't need to impress anyone with a spiffy badge on the car. This is for me! 1 year update. This car is amazing, love the comfort. It may not have the badge recognition, but it is an extremely comfortable car. It does not have the performance of the German automobiles and the fuel economy is not up to par with the competition. I am getting an average of 23-24 mpg highway on ethanol blends, and 25-26 mpg on no ethanol premium. I can sacrifice some fuel economy for what I paid. The one big knock is the the sound system...occasionally on a long trip the sound will shut off. The radio shows it is on, but there is not a sound coming from the system. After this has happened a couple of times, I know the solution is to stop the car, turn it off, walk away to get the key fob out of range of the car and come back, start it up and go again. Very odd. I looked on the Genesis owners blog and have seen many with similar experiences and no apparent solutions from Genesis as this is a non-replicable problem. Now, after 3 years and 24,000 miles, I am still quite pleased with the G90. The only other issue is an occasional problem with the trunk release button on the dash not activating the trunk decklid. When the button is pushed, it will unlatch the trunk, but not fully open the trunk. For those who are not familiar, the trunk decklid is motorized and opens and closes with a touch of a button or key fob. Other than that, this car has been a dream. On long road trips, I can drive for 10 hours or longer and not really feel uncomfortable or tired, unlike driving other vehicles in my possession. We have taken this car on 1000+ mile trips at least 4 times and love the comfort. The one issue is that the car does sit a bit low, especially when fully loaded and it can bottom out when going over some obstacles like speed bumps in parking lots. Some of the speed bumps encountered are a bit high and if one goes over a higher one at bit too quickly, the soft suspension and low ride height, will have the car impact the speed bump. After 3 years of ownership, I can say I really enjoy this car. The new models certainly have a bit more eye appeal and more refined as far as features, but for value, this was still an awesome purchase. The new models are now list for $20K more than when I bought 3 years ago, but much of that can be attributed to inflation and increased brand recognition since Genesis has successfully launched Motor Trend winners like the G70, GV70, and this year the G90. Genesis' parent Hyundai is now working with the dealerships to require a separate facility for Genesis and Hyundai sales and service. There will be fewer Genesis dealers as many have decided not to incur the expense of building a new facility for Genesis. In my opinion, the lack of the separate facilities for the Genesis brand has hurt sales, as upscale buyers have not wanted feel like they were in a "budget" facility, that lacked upscale amenities available at other luxury dealerships. That should be changed over the next couple of years.

Not quite there
My 2018 G90 is an awsome ride and so comfortable and state of the art. However, I am starting to have some issues and the nearest dealer is about 85 miles away. On day one the trunk did not want to open by itself. The dealer couldn't fix, but I did. I lenghtened rubber stops to preload the lid to help it release. About 2 years later and at 7,000 miles, the battery died and wouldn't take a charge. Still under 3 year valet warranty, they came and picked it up, replaced battery and returned. Now, I find out that the connective serivice will no longer work on my vehicle after Dec. 2022 due to 3G going away. I am shocked to hear that Genesis wasn't on top of this to built my car with 5G technology. Right now I am fighting with my local service department to replace a right tail light that was defective and falling apart. My vehicle has just under 9,900 miles on it. It never sees much sun, rain or any snow. Always garaged and stored for the winter. I am not having a very good feeling about it's future. Especially after my experience with a Hyundai Azera that went up in flames and Hyundai denied any responsibility. UPDATE: Now has 15K miles and 6 years later. Still a great riding car, but without connective service available. Several recalls that warn of a fire hazard with very long wait time for fixes. Waiting for months. Told not to park in or next to a building. I guess that means don't take it anywhere that you might be parking next to someone else's vehicle.
Start acting like a luxury car brand
The car itself is well built and very nice. The problem is the dealers. Genesis National needs to demand higher standards from their dealers. Too many Genesis dealers act like slick Eddies used car lot and pool hall emporium. When you pay that kind of money one expects first class service after the sale. Warning! A Genesis Certified used car means nothing. A carfax means nothing if the damage was not reported. If dealers can’t meet standards to compete with BMW, MB, Audi, then pull their franchise. If Genesis can’t provide timely and proper service then they will always be an also ran car company. If you take the cheese off the pizza, nobody will buy your product no matter how cheap the price is. Genesis, clean up your act and get your act together.

Great car with a horrible ride
The ride at speeds above 35 mph was bumpy. The steeling wheel was shaking as well as the front seats. Took the car back to the dealer and returned it. Unfortunately for him he let out 5 lbs of air from the tires and it rode considerably better. The car manual called for about 35-36 lbs. of air and he lowered it to 32 lb. and then tried to convince me that 32 was proper and not to pay attention to the manufacturers instructions!!!

Great luxury car at a reasonable price
Just leaded the G90 Ultimate AWD. Drove the Equus before, and I feel the difference, more refined (if this could even be possible), more comfortable seats and more updated electronics. Drive is superior to anything I have driven before, and the price is great. Could not say enough nice things about it. If you are in the market for a luxury large sedan and you are looking at those $100K + cars, you have to test drive the Genesis G90, you will be surprised all the way around!

They did it right
Genesis assembled the best of the best, engineers and design team from Bentley, bmw,Audi and other major auto makers. They started with a blank sheet of paper and used all their resources and suppliers from the major manufacturers they worked for. The result is an outstanding design with excellent components, sourced from the best suppliers. It really doesn’t get any better than this. If you drive it, you will love it and buy one. Fit finish are excellent Electronics are the best available Suspension is not as tight as the German cars, but that’s what you would expect in a luxury sedan Missing a double sun roof Some interior pieces could be improved Non of the above is a deal breaker

After 25k miles tires still an issue
This is my 2nd Genesis. Mechanically they're great and a pleasure to drive. Recently put 3rd set of tires on with about 46k on car, Michelins this time at about $1,700/set and Michelins do ride better than Continentals staunchly recommended by dealer, front tires are different size from rear so normal rotation is out of the question so subsequently dealer derates tire warranty 50%, and told me not to expect much more than 20k miles out of tires on this vehicle. They are low profile tires, didn't know this when I bought car (note to self - research better next time;) had "not so smooth" ride with l/p tires on Mazda 929 I purchased new in '89. Genesis must know that low profile tires don't ride as well as regular tires, so shame on them. I'm not looking forward to $1,800 tire expense (inflation) in another 18 months. Other than that I'm fairly well pleased with the vehicle.

Great car great value. A little too complicated. The manuals are useless and the learnin curve too steep. The controls are not intuitivet

Smooth and comfortable
This car rides and drives better than any car I've owned. My last three cars were BMW740L, jaguar XSJ8L, Mercedes S550 and the Genesis G90 trumps them all!!

G90 Ultimate is just that!
Best car I have ever owned! 38K miles with no issues of any kind what so ever! Sure it is Hyundai service department but they have been great to me, and I have no complaints! I have to drive on the mountain windy roads where I live and this is a perfect car for everyone and also love it on the highway! Great gas mileage, amazing comfort, great power, great ride, and ohh sooo quiet! Had it now for three years and love everything about it and every time I get in it!

This used to be my girl
Dollar for dollar, this car met my expectations and then some. I honestly believe when Genesis created this G90, they had all the passengers in mind. My wife and I enjoyed this car and was hesitant about selling it. This is a no brainer...buy now.
2018 G-90 3.3T & 5.0 AWD
For the amount of money that is being asked for this car, I was not impressed at all.. First of all, this car is a Hyundai , even though Genesis is trying to distance itself and separate from Hyundai, it may not happen for quite some time and, in my opinion, the depreciation on a new car in the luxury market without it's own branding will depreciate tremendously. e.g.... To purchase this car, if you took out a loan for $70,000.00 for 5 years, within in 3 years, you would owe more on the loan than what the car is worth. The car is way overpriced. Another strike against it is that the front end looks like a Chrysler 300. Who in their right mind is going to pay $70,000 for a luxury car that looks like the Chrysler 300? I currently own an Acura RL 2000 and the Bose audio in my car is way superior to the Genesis G-90 in my opinion. I think you're on the right track. Genesis is a solid and comfortable car... has some good new features but you've priced it out of the market .... in my humble opinion...

The auto steering and safety lane controls need to be looked at. I leased the car for its safety features and they aren’t working properly.

Great car!!! All the bells and whistles!!!
I love this car. It’s roomy and elegant. With the turbo engine the pickup is great. I love the heads up display. This car has features that I haven’t mastered yet!!!
Unexpected Luxury
Hold out for a brand new one, or a dealer demo G90 5.0 ULTIMATE AWD FOR THE MOST RESALE VALUE.
ok car
was wanting this to be the best ever but several issues such as radio operation and presets....horrible. Not as quick as I thought engine wise, and overall, just a nice car but that's it.

Handling
It's a great value and comfortable. I just installed Bridgestones and the car handles sportier than with the Michelins.
