Fantastic overall vehicle just make sure you are aware of the extra valve cleaning due to the GDI engine.

Better than E-class, A7, A8, S90 (all 2018)

I am a serious buyer and drove E-class, A7, A8, S90 (all 2018). My conclusion is that G80 is better than all of these. G80 is tighter, smoother, sporty bur comfortable, safer, reliable. The drive feeling is much better than those. Lane keeping can be tighter though. I recommend you to test drive before you buy Benz E-class or S90 at least. You will surely find out what I wrote here.

So many things I hate about this G80

Where to start. When we first got this car the dealer couldn't get the tires balanced and had the car for over a week deciding what to do with it. Finally they replaced 3 tires claiming the road force too high on 3 of 4 tires. Why they didn't replace all 4 is beyond me. The tires have always flat spotted badly so the first 15 miles Or so in lower temps were miserable. The flat spotting I believe has caused the Michelins to wear poorly which means a lot of road noise. I've had the tires rotated at each oil service but they have cupped badly. The rear end whines from 45 mph down to about 25 when slowing down. The speed control loses 2-3 mph on a slight grade before catching a gear or two to get back up to speed. The adaptive cruise won't let you get within a couple hundred feet of the car in front which means cars are constantly cutting in front and slowing the car. There's no sensitivity setting for the adaptive cruise and you can't shut it off so you live with it or in my case I don't use it. The front parking sensors work about every 10th time you drive the car, no rhyme or reason as to why or when they will work. The technology on this car would be fine if you wanted some Korean dude telling you how to drive but if you don't like it your stuck with it. The G80 is a great looking car but It is the most annoying car that I have ever owned. Blows me away that there are so many 5 star ratings. Guess I just ended up with a turd. The dealer acted somewhat put out when we had the tire issue early on so with all the other problems I figured it was a waste of time trying to get them fixed. I received a couple quality surveys after I got the car and when I addressed the issues I was having the surveys stopped. Might explain so manY 5 stars. Cant wait to unload this pig.

Quick as a "Cat" but twice as heavy.

The Genesis G80 Twin Turbo 3.3 Litre is as agile ... as a Big Cat and twice as nasty. The acceleration is phenomenal ... 0 to 60 fast, 60 to 100 fast, o to any speed fast and the sound when in "Sport" Mode is a Sport Car Enthusiast's Dream! Rated at 365 HP and 295 Lbs of torque at the rear wheels it is simple put as "Raw Power!" I will take on most everything on the highway and beat them ... unless of course their pushing 600 HP or better. It rides and handles like a Dream ... no pulling either way at any speed. The suspension is great ... it has to stiffen at higher speeds, yet put in in "Econo" it rides better than any previous Cadillac owned! I call it "My Luxury Rocket" ... and will Dino it someday because it's Pumping Out over 500HP ... if it's pumping any amount at all! Fantastic Automobile for the $$$$ nobody can beat it!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OH, the blacked out wheels and mirrors and copper grille make it look as bad as it is!!!!!
