Disappointed in my 2018 Genesis

The car has all of the bells and whistles and looks very nice and sporty. But I have had nothing but trouble with the front dash making noise and the inside cabin noise being too loud for me. I don't want to have to have the radio on to drown out the noise.. Numerous trips to the dealer have not accomplished a fix either. The service at my local dealer is not that great and definitely does not measure up to what I had with my previous Lexus car dealer. Genesis has a ways to go if they want to compete with the other luxury cars. You get more bells and whistles for the money, but the plastic dash has a noise issue and is not up to a luxury car standard. The seat piping that looks so attractive sticks up so it does not make for a comfortable seat ride. I paid 58k for this car and I wish I could go back to last October and keep my Lexus GS350.

I bought my first 2014 Genesis and loved it. I just leased a 2018 G80 with the premium package and it's a great improvement over the 2014. This car is the best value for luxury sedans and I highly recommend anybody looking in the $45,000 to $55,000 price range to test drive a G80.

This car is far superior to anything in its class. As more Genesis dealerships become available this car will make its mark. This is my second Genesis and this car gets more compliments than any car I have ever owned. I can,t tell you how many people having been in my car rave about its style, its ride , and performance I went from a 2017 to a 2018 and I might consider a 2019 . The g80 sport is the way to go . Do not test drive the G80

I found after about 20 feet of driving the G80 that I knew I was buying the car, even though I had not yet got on the street.. I wanted to take the test drive... I love the car.... one silly feature that no one would notice that I really LOVE is the hanger in the trunk, it supports my grocery bag on the way home from the store, no longer are my cat food cans all over the trunk, they stay right in the bag... WONDERFUL.... After a year of owning the car, I can not fault anything about the car... It gives me between 16 and 17 MPG strictly city driving, this on Octane 87 pump gas regular...... The car is of the highest build quality, after a year of owning it I am amazed at how cheaply and poorly made much more expensive cars are... ! ! If I win Powerball or Mega Millions, I would just build a nicer more roomy garage for my Genesis, I would not be replacing it PERIOD ! !!

G80 for my 70’s

I have driven some preaty cool cars but this one puts the rest to shame. Acura-Infinity FX35- Chrysler 300 - GMC Envoy & 2013 Geneis V6. I drove this car for a couple of years and that sold me on the brand. The over all functionality was superior in every category. Then in 2018 I had a chance to get in on the launch of the new Brand Geneis that competes with Lexus- Infinity- Acura- BMW - Mercedes at a much better price and the same quality. I wish I had waited on the G80 & now the G70. I plan to drive it for 10-25 years. Thanks South Korea
