Great until you hit 50,000 miles
We have had two of these vans make it to 50,000 miles before we have had to replace the catalytic convertors and drop $11,000+ in repairs on both. I would avoid this cargo van. 50,000 miles is way too low for a taken care of vehicle to have that type of repair on it. I am sure if we didn't take it to a ford repair shop we could of got the repairs done for about half the cost, but still, big issue way too soon.

This has been the best vehicle I’ve ever owned. Power is fantastic! Seats remove easily, slider door works well. Towing with tow package is really nice. AC is adequate front and back. Back breaks had to be replaced at 50k. But fronts we’re still good. That’s about normal for city drivers. Road noise is normal. Can drives like a car. Fully loaded this vehicle doesn’t bog down on hills. If you get a chance to purchase one, I highly recommend! 3.5l ecoboost model.

Great for a large family
Storage is little to none in the 15 passenger. A backup camera is highly recommended. Privacy glass is also nice to have because everyone looks in your windows. Drives great. Fits in most parking spaces but sometimes hangs out a little. Width fits perfectly though. Arm rests could use more padding.

ECO BOOST TURBO 4. Banger Hauls A**
Ive only had my Transit for a. couple of month and am soon taking it on a road trip of at least 2500 miles across the Arizona Sonoran Desert Country.. AND I can't wait! As it is I'm considering myself to be most fortunate to having even acquired it in the first place! Im getting 25 to 27 mpg in town and cant wait to see what kind of highway mileage I can get between Reno and Las Vegas on a straight through trip. Please note: no correct model listing available in dropdown. Shorter length, high ceiling, driver and passenger doors standard, backseat sliders on both sides with a full lift gate with exceptional overhead clearance as Im 6'2" and I can safely while standing fully erect walk under latch, door and strap without any injury or clearance problem. Truly a find!

Ford dealers need training
Our 2015 Transit has been continuously problem plagued and we have only been able to use it 10000 miles after buying it in 2016. This is even worse since it is now out of warranty and we invested more in making it wheelchair accessible than we spent to purchase it. August 2019 update: The gear shift lever froze in park mid-May. Had the Transit towed to the Fort Walton Beach Ford dealer. Dealer stated it is a known issue and replaced the lever: $600,. Dealer also stated that there is a battery draw that is draining the battery and that they could not find it. In mid-June I had the Transit towed to a specialty shop, R&M Mobility, to install a second battery that we can select if the primary battery is dead. Picked the Transit up in Late July and engine stopped 2 miles down the road. I could not restart it. R&M Mobility came and got it going then drove to Ford in Pensacola. Ford could not replicate the problem, although the engine died in the Ford dealer service entry and Ford had to push it out of the way when I left it. After another week plus I picked it up and drove off only noticing a dash warning light was on several miles down the road. Rather than return to Ford, I went to R&M and had that corrected. Now it is late August and engine will not start. It now sits again at Ford in Pensacola for resolution of the problem that started in July. Feb 2019 update: Once again in January we had a dead battery issues so I took our Transit wagon to a specialty shop, R&M Mobility, whose owner monitored our Transit wagon for several days and determined that the Power Control Module (PCM) intermittently is causing a power drain on the battery, hence the random dead battery problems we've had since 2017. Evidently this is an issue known by Ford. A new PCM was installed in the Transit and keys reprogrammed by Ford. Downside is that Ford charged $662 because they said it is out of warranty. I've been told that I can appeal that charge and I will since this has been an on-going problem that Ford has failed to fix. Our Transit has had dead battery issues repeatedly. Local dealer replaced battery in Feb 2017, alternator in April 2017, then Van did not start in June 2017 when we were 700 miles from home. I had the van towed to a dealer under the Ford towing plan: a GREAT benefit!!! After 6 weeks, we got a "repaired" van back and drove home. Van did not start in August. Had the van towed to the local dealer in Fort Walton Beach but they failed to fix van after three weeks. Had the van towed at my expense to specialty shop, R&M Mobility, 60 miles from home which then collaborated with World Ford, the dealer in Pensacola. Together they fixed the issues: the wiring from the engine to the battery was incorrectly installed so they installed a parallel copper wire.
