1997 Ford Thunderbird LXV8 4.6
Best car I have ever owned. 350,000 one owner miles and still like new. Keep your Hondas and Toyota's. My wife's Toyota Highlander had electrical issues with only 733 miles.

Best Value for Money
Bought it in 1997 brand new; fell in love with it on test drive; forgot about all the other cars I test drove. Very smooth, very comfortable, great looking car for a very reasonable price. At 7+ years, it still looks and feels new! This car has spoiled me. No trouble at all after all these years.
Fun BIrd
I purchased this car new. I fell in love with it on the lot and purchased it that same week. This is my second T- bird. The first was a 1993 with a 3.8 V6. I have added a supercharger, after market chip and upgrade exhaust system. This is by far the best car I have ever owned. If Ford was still making these I would buy another one in a flash.
1997 Thunderbird still runs like new
My 97 Thunderbird has the 4.8 V8. I changed the intake manifold , brake pads, water pump, spark plugs, sway bars, new carpet & tires. this car is easy to work on if you are handy, best car I have ever had. The 4.6 engine is made to go forever, that's why Police cars & Taxies got 400 thousand miles on this engine. Maintain this car and it won't let you down. Parts for this car are plenty & modest priced at your local part house.

All the Bird I expected
I've always wanted a Thunderbird ever since I first started liking cars. I finally got myself one last August. I've only had it for five months now, but I have loved every minute of owning it. It hasn't given me any mecahnical problems yet. It still has a lot of zip left in it. Merging into traffic is no problem at all. The accelleration is very smooth and predictable.
