No Stranger to the Ranger!
I am very pleased overall with my 2004 Ranger. While it isn't the most comfortable vehicle I have ever owned, it is one of the most dependable by far. Maintenance/repair costs have been much lower than previous vehicles and at 150,000+ miles it is still going strong. I hope FORD decides to bring back the Ranger in an affordable package with a crew cab option. The back seat in the Supercab is pretty much worthless unless for some light storage. But, overall this is a great little truck!

Crash Test Dummy
I really liked my truck. It drove well and got fairly decent mileage (20MPG). If you noticed I have been referring to my truck in the past tense. I totaled it last week. The front wheel was knocked off, the cab was warped (driver's door would not shut) and the frame was bent in two places. The car that hit me was a Dodge Intrepid that hit me while sideways in the front left corner of the bumper and continued through the wheel. The truck held together well and I and the other driver walked away without any serious injuries. I had it for a year and a half and received from the insurance company about $1000 less than what I paid for it. I'm buying another just like it. I also have an '88 w/250k miles.

I Love My Ranger!
I own a Ford Ranger and I am very pleased with it. It is a little rough riding at times if the road is rough. I have no other complaints. It has been very reliable and fun to drive.
One sweet little truck.
I selected my 4 cylinder stickshift Ranger to serve as a daily driver, as a vehicle to drive on my 100 mile daily, 5 days per week school commute, and to be able to hold its own at Home Depot, Lowe's and Menard's. The handling, ride, and highway gas mileage is almost unbelievable! I've often seen 30+ MPG, and one week it actually delivered 35 MPG. The seats are surprisingly supportive and quite comfy for a small truck. I cross-shopped Chevy, GMC, and Toyota, but the Ranger beat them all for interior comfort, durability, fuel efficiency, reliability, appearance, and especially, price.
Fun Truck
Truck goes great in snow using 4wd. Love the single CD player. Audio is excellent. Plenty of power with the 4.0l engine. Miss the automatic sliding forward passenger seat(when you want to get acess to extened cab)that my 1995 had.
