Amazing car, my mind is blow.
I've got a 2021 Ranger with the ecoboost 4 cyl and 10 speed auto. I found a new GT with a 5.0 and a the same transmission. I'm 62, owned a ton of vehicles and don't need the "fun" or the ego of a standard and jumped at the 10 speed after owning the Ranger. Glad I did, the car is just incredible. I can't say enough about it's performance, I've owned some hopped up stuff, but nothing that goes like this thing. Want to pass, pull out, get pointed straight and mash it to the floor. It passes like nothing I've seen. Super comfortable to drive, handles like it's on rails and the best part is it get's better mileage than my 4 cyl ecoboost ranger. I love it and it would probably beat 95% of the 6 spd drivers in a drag race by running it in sport and letting the transmission catch all the shifts bang on. UPDATE Flash forward 6 mo or so and I love the car so much I traded it in on a GT Premium with a Roush supercharger. I've only driven it about 300 miles and then nasty winter hit so its stored until nicer weather but my initial driving impressions are great. The supercharger is seamless. It pulls evenly, quiet, very little change in fuel consumption and man when you stomp on it...wow. The 10 speed gets a Roush reprogram and it works just sweet. The car just does everything easier than the GT without the blower. Having said that, they are a car you will need to build up experience with slowly or you will end up starring in a viral video. The 5.0 by itself can get you into all kinds of trouble if you don't know how to react, the Roush is much more so. The Premium also has a lot of really cool features. One I really like is when you open or close a door at night it shines a pony on the ground beside the car. Very cool. And the last thing I would like to mention is the cars are rock solid. I put 8000 miles on my first 21 GT without so much as a rattle. The Premium with the Roush had it since new and it had 5000 on it when I got it with the same story...not a warranty claim or a complaint with the car.

Amazing car-
I shopped competitive convertibles: Jag FType, Audi S5, BMW M4. They are really nice cars with alot of character and potentially some challenging maintenance issues. The Mustang in my opinion is the best value by far. Gobs of power, great looks, excellent build quality and not overwhleming in the techy world of a BMW or a Audi. The Jag might have a better looking interior- but it also does not have a trunk, nor does the BMW. Key feature of the Mustang is the desing of the roof and the fact that I can fit 2 sets of golf bags in trunk with roof down. Not giant staff bags, but 2 sets of carry stand bags leaving the drivers in the bag! It is perfect.

2021 BMW M4...Not!!
Just traded my beautiful, elegant and "delicate" 2021 BMW M4(manual) for a 2022 MACH 1. The BMW was a beautiful, expensive, elegant car- my wife loved it! But nothing compares to a naturally aspirated V8 Monster. This car is a beast, a real muscle car. Not a 3.0 V6 twin turbo, which is a great technology. I traded my 2019 C7 Corvette for that BMW, and that was my mistake. Nothing like Big old V8's and pure American Muscle. MACH 1 is a beautiful, affordable, high performance sports car. And its a limited edition, get one before its too late!

Number of cylinders is irrelevant
I just picked up a '21 base model ecoboost to use as a daily driver. I was looking for something fun, comfortable, nice looking, and good MPG. The ecoboost ticked every box. Some people may roll their eyes at a 4 cylinder but don't let the number of cylinders fool you, it has more than enough power to be fun and still get 30 MPG! I absolutely love this car. If getting from Point A to Point B as rapidly as possible is your thing and want to pay an additional ten grand for the privilege then go with the GT. But if you want power, smoothness, and great gas mileage then the ecoboost is a perfect choice.

Rented this car for 2 weeks. Couldn’t believe how comfortable, stable, fun, and easy to drive. So i sold my 2019 BMW 440 Gran Coupe and will get the mustang in October

Very fast and will stay on the road !
Was looking at a GT but a quick background check found that A) they have trouble staying on the road with all that power, B) high insurance rates because of A, C) gas isn't cheap as I always use the high octane in turbos, D) I am not racing or abusing my toy and the Ecoboost Premium HPP with the 10 speed is under 5 secs to 60 while being glued to the road, E) The active exhaust takes me back to my old cut out days and Lakes pipes but at the flick of a switch,F I got mine fully loaded for 38 when the MSRP was 46 because it had been sitting I the lot as for a little more you could get a GT. By the way GTs come with high performance summer tires which below 35 degrees are like driving on wet ice, it says so in the manual and by the tire manufacturer. I had all seasons put on mine or no sale. So bottom line go with the Ecoboost HPP and be a half second slower but be safe and enjoy all the options you couldn't afford on a GT

White pony
I know a lot of people knock the ecoboost because it’s not a V8, but I still feel like I’m driving a ecobeast. I love my car! the tech, the style, and the power. I feel sexy and with current gas prices it’s pretty economical! I got the car brand new (my first new car always bought used previously) in July and hands down the best car I ever owned. Eventually I’ll get the big engine but for now I love it!

Nerdy girl gets a cool car!
My plan was to buy my dream car when I retire. But why wait? It is a blast to drive, handles like a dream and the technology is user friendly. These make great daily drivers. Don’t wait. Get one and enjoy.

I love my new 22 Mustang GT. Fast, comfortable, and easy to drive. Plenty of power and torque. My only complaint is the backseat, why does it even exist? Delete the backseat!

Awesome car
Ive had 2 shelby gt500s and an older mustang gt. Now I just bought the 2022 gt premium. It is a beautiful car, and although i love a manual transmission, the auto is where its at. Im talking .5 seconds faster 0-60 with the auto. People are pulling sub 4 secs in this car all day long. The infotainment is great. It sounds as beastly as youd expect from a v8 muscle car. Things i didnt like - they used a bit too much cheap looking plastic inside. No usb c ports just 2x usb 2.0. If I'm paying for a 50k+ car it should have usb 3.0 or just be completely wireless for the phone interface. If you're looking at renting one, remember it's not gonna ride like your camry. Its a freaking muscle car and rides exactly how it should.

Love this car with the track package! It is a blast to drive, but is definitely a warmer weather car with the Michelin Pilot tires on it. I look forward to summer days and getting away with this car!

Wow! This Mustang Really Ponies Up!
First of all, I have the GT Premium convertible (there was no choice for that on the drop down menu). This car meets or exceeds all of my expectations. Great handling, amazing power, and the exhaust options are really sweet! I love the accessibility of all the controls and the tech is very functional and easy to use. This car rides very smooth yet has the unmistakable feel of a sports car. The seats are very comfortable and offer great options for adjustments. I also love the ambient lighting options! Now for the power. A total of 460 horses under the hood gives all the power one could want (very tempting to race!). The car is solid and well-built, and all the controls are easily reached and operated. Overall, I am very satisfied with this car!

Pretty Pony that’s Athletic to Boot
I had a 2019 and a 2021 - both Ecoboost coupes. They were nice, a bit sporty and easy on the wallet. This one is a LOADED Ecoboost Premium Convertible and it’s great! Oxford White with black leather interior - gorgeous. Black mags with black ragtop. This one just seems to handle better in sport mode and if the engine starts to choke climbing hills, the paddle shifters work great. Love this car!

Fire breathing dragon
Ok. The title is a little hyperbole. But not by much. I got my black gt a little over a month ago. Six speed manual because I’m not willing to give up my third pedal yet. I’ve had 2 v-6’s and two Bullitt mustangs. Put over a hundred thousand miles on one of the 6’s and one of the bullitts and lots of miles on the other two. I have a lot of seat time. This is a great car. It’s fast when you want and you can dial up the speed (and dial down the gas mileage) when you want. It’ll push you back in your seat in sport mode and the engine exhaust will make a Harley rider turn around. My son fit in the backseat of my other mustangs until he hit high school. You don’t get a mustang for three adults. That’s not the point. You get a mustang because it looks great, runs fast and gets smiles from other drivers.

Camaro fan
Ok a Camaro fan for 50 + years I had to check out the new Mach one well after a month of research and one 5 minute drive well what can I say it is the premium package with the Handling pack Oxford white with charcoal int and red stripes awesome look the interior is snug as a bug in a rug for me and as comfortable as my wife’s Lincoln it rides as well and I have not had it in comfort mode yet still trying to figure out all the buttons the seats are great for me at 5’8 “ and relatively normal size it’s is user friendly once you get used to the electronics it is sleek and just a go cart on steroids friken scary fast the pedal is responsive and with 300 miles on it you want to take it easy but your brain just has to work overtime to prevent you from diving into the pedal I got use to it after a few miles it’s a toes weight to get a grin , five toes for a giggle with concern and a outrageous amount of concern of how I am going to survive controlling the temptation of driving in normal mode like the responsible elderly person i was before I closed the door behind me in my Mach 1 all I can say ladies and gents is if you are going to drop any $$$ into a semi luxury car with the power and torque of a freight train look no further the Mach 1 is the car I don’t believe that there is any need for a700 + hp street car the 470 is more than needed oh by the way at 50 mph in 3rd gear with 7 more to go the car lunges forward like you got hit with a rubble shot of nitro and you have to feather the pedal if you don’t want to see your own tail lights go by you I will find the right 2010 rs 2 s that I want to park next to this amazing car sooner than later I hope if I can get it by the powers to be but any way the only one thin* that I can foresee is you are going to need a xtra set of tires for around town the cup 2 are as sticky as gorilla glue and will not last with daily driving this silky smooth American muscle car , just go by one you will not be disappointed ! I be been driving fast cars for fifty4 years dodge ;Chevy ,Ford and every thing in between that had a go fast sticker but this one is going to brake the bank with tickets if you are not carful lol

At Ford Quality is Job None
Purchased a new manual GT Premium. I could put up with the glitchy electronics and the plastic interior. But the manual transmission was a joke! More that jus it being vague, it is extremely harsh. Ford says that this is normal...apparently I'm not the only customer who disagrees, see: https://driving.ca/auto-news/news/shift-for-brains-mustang-owners-sue-ford-over-transmission-issue I sold this lemon for a Dodge Scat Pack and couldn't be happier, I'll never buy a Ford again!

Terrible front seats
I rented a 2022Mustang convertible for a week. After 30 minutes of driving my butt went to sleep. I had to pull over and get out of car. Same for my wife. Seats terrible on rear end on long drive. No problem with seats on long drive in my 2000 Camry.

California Cruising
My 2021 Ford Mustang GT/CS has been a fun experience driving. My only concerns are the trunk & hood are not aligned properly and the rear windows are not rolling up properly and need to be manually forced to align with the front door windows to prevent any water leakage. My mustang only has 10,000 miles so it’s not a usage issue.

Convert Stangs are the BEST!!
Nothing like driving a convertible on a sunny day. A Mustang Convert is a sweet ride..The Eco Boost doens't have the roar of the GT, but the acceleration is decent, and almost 30 miles to a gallon with a manual is nice Cheaper insurance rates are a plus also.

The Best Mustang 'Parts' Car that Money can Buy!
I own the 2021 Mach 1 Fight Jet Gray model with the performance package now for 1yr & 6 months and it doesn't disappoint. I use it as a daily driver, the handling and that 6-speed 'Tremec' manual transmission, i.e. GT350 makes the drive to work very enjoyable. The ride home, well even better. The only problem I have so far is that Ford 'Sync' system freezing up with the GPS, the article is correct about the technology. Ford if your reading, this will be the second time I stop by the dealership with this same problem. Note: This issue still hasn't been fixed. Overall, what can I say, it fast!!!, the 'Recaro' seats rap around you like a glove, and the down force effects from the GT350/500 keep you sticking to the pavement around the sharpest curves. Yep, that's that liquid metal stuff in the suspension.
