What's the Big Deal?
Test drove a 2023 Ford Maverick XLT today-gas. Jerky as heck, loud on the freeway, and when will Ford CHANGE that seat? Seriously, it's the most uncomfortable seat I've sat in besides the basic Toyota Tacoma. What's the big deal? I guess if you want to throw good money at a roller coaster, go ahead. I'll pass.
Trucking in ocean city
Good pick up, a lot of fun electronics, blind spot warning lights should be mandatory on all cars.

My Maverick
Everything about this truck has exceeded my expectations. I have the 23 hybrid waited 13 months to get it, well worth the wait. Got the hybrid because of the gas prices. So far I have 10000 miles on it and been averaging 40 mpg. Last three fill ups were 41,43 and 45 mpg. Love that. Performance is good only negative is it's ride it rides like a truck. Three factory recalls two done at home by mobile tech other one done at dealership. I hate the dial shifter rather have the old regular floor shifter. Great truck glad I purchased it .

Exceeded Expectations!
Better than published mpg! Rides like a truck not soft like a car, that's what I wanted. Good basic features not filled with posh options.

Great Experience So Far
I have a 2023 Hybrid XL, but has a few options added so it is closer to an XLT. Bought in Nov23, did not have to wait long as someone else canceled their order and the dealer called me and said if I was quick I could have it. So far I am loving this. In the past I have owned (and loved) Toyota hybrids but always wanted a truck, so this is perfect for me. No problems so far, getting 40mph easy, moving large items all the time. Got a $60 bed extender from Amazon and can easily bring 4 ten foot kayaks to the lake. The Mav is very comfortable, drives nice, smooth, now at 22k miles, no service issues at all. There have been several recalls, but these have just been software updates, that's just a fact of life for all products nowadays. I would definitely recommend this vehicle, value for price is fantastic.

Checks all the boxes
I have a 2023 XLT AWD 2.0/turbo,18k, with tow package. 28-29 mpg in mixed driving. Truck does everything asked of it. Great for those hardware store trips for new appliances, new doors, etc and hauling old stuff to the landfill. I recently completed a comfortable 4,500 mile road trip, averaging 31-33 mpg on the highway. Highly recommend unless heavy towing and hauling is needed.
