Finally! Waited a year for this truck!
Took delivery 1 year after ordering. I’m really enjoying my truck. Rides nice, handles great and plenty of power for its size. After three weeks and 650 miles getting around 25 or 26mpg. One minor complaint is that the signal slightly goes in and out while listening to FM radio stations. I live in large metropolitan area so FM signal is very strong. Stereo sounds great when listening to music from phone either Bluetooth or USB. I have XLT trim with 2.0 Ecoboost.

Satisfies Two Needs!
I had a Silverado 1500 that ran on diesel. Traded it in for a RAV4 Hybrid, when diesel climbed to $5 a gallon. Missed the truck for utility and loved the RAV4 for gas mileage. This truck meets both needs.(Utility and gas mileage) I'm 6'4" and I'm comfortable in it. Rides amazingly well and can get up to speed at a decent rate. Due to the scarcity of these truck I ended up with the XL. No power mirrors are sort of a bummer. No satellite radio either. I remedied the radio with an aftermarket device that works with the XM antenna and allows you to use the steering wheel controls for it.

Experiencing a Tremor!
When you come down to earth from a F150 FX4, the ground is so much closer; however, the ride is comfortable and the surroundings pleasurable. The trim level of our Tremor was added onto a Lariat, so that we have a higher comfort level in this peppy little truck. The available options on the Ford Co-Pilot 360 has many features, some of which are very helpful, after you learn how to negotiate them. The intelligent cruise is nice when one is driving in traffic, and you are automatically corralled with the rest. On the open road you must pay attention, or you could follow the vehicle ahead like a timid little sheep, never getting close enough to pass. :-) A safe lane change in a timely fashion easily resolves this, and the blind-spot alert keeps you from upsetting other drivers. The lane assist is helpful when one goes through an area where there are some sights to see along the way. As a runner I often have drivers drift towards me when they see me ahead. As I get older, I find myself drifting more often, and this feature is welcome. We are still new at this, but already my wife wants to drive more often... The Type selection down below does not allow me to pick this exclusive little beauty she fell in love with from the outset... It is not the hybrid, but the 2liter as strong as 250 horses with the 8 speed automatic transmission. My ultimate pleasure is the B&O sound system. As a 16 year old boy I was introduced to this, now too expensive to afford high-fi system…unless you can find some pieces on EBay…While in the truck I can enjoy the clarity as I gently cruise along...I am a gas-mileage freak and I have this purring at almost 30 miles per gallon...

Wife's High Society Pals Love the Mav!
We have worked hard and have earned the benefit of a nice lifestyle. We feel very fortunate and don't take it for granted. So imagine how the country club girls, who all drive Lexus SUVs, reacted when my wife ditches her Volvo and rolls up in her Maverick Lariat? They LOVE it! So different from their soulless ego rides! The Maverick projects a personality and spunkiness that really works and connects with many people's vehicle tastes. Hers is an Ecoboost BTW, the vehicle details drop-box Edmunds has doesn't have that selection option.

Worth an almost 2 year wait?
Actual count from date of order to delivery was 704 days. Just clicked 1000 miles yesterday after 6 weeks of ownership. Definitely not enough for a long term review, but I couldn't be happier with my buy. Looks and runs great. Averaging over 40 mpg. Just don't count on good service care from the dealer.

Great gas mileage
It’s a very basic car which is expected but it gets much better gas mileage then anticipated. About 540-590 miles per tank 13 gallon tank which is amazing. The price was also incredibly fair!

Worst “truck” ever
When people say cheap truck, they are hitting the mail on the head. Everything is plastic and cheap. It is uncomfortable, and much harder to drive than a full size truck. It pulls during acceleration, and tends to wander at Highway speeds. After a month and a half there are multiple rattles inside of the cab. The back seat is a joke, too small to fit more than a couple of grocery bags. If you let it sit and idle for a while it begins to smell of burning wires inside.I have to take two trips to move my tools from job site to job site, which nullifies the fuel savings and wastes my time. The brakes catch system jerks to a stop unexpectedly from time to time. It gets one star simply due to getting great gas mileage. Other than that, it is the worst “truck” I’ve ever owned.

Ford Maverick XL Hybrid.
Great little truck!! Lowest priced hybrid on the market. 40+ mpg/city. Everything they advertise about the vehicle has been proven to this owner. Very satisfied with my purchase.
