Love it!
I've now had my 2013 Ford Fusion Energi for one year and 10,000 miles. I would like to comment on my likes and dislikes. Update: I've now had my Energi for 2 1/2 years and still love it. I average 80 miles per gallon. Mine has adaptive cruise control, which I love. On the freeway set it at a little above the speed limit and the traffic controls your speed. In full electric it's quiet and super smooth. I would buy another one. Update, I've had the car now for over 3 1/2 years and still love it. Average mpg is now 85. We're retired and use it mostly around town, which means it runs mostly on electric. In 2013 we wanted a tan leather interior and the Titanium model only came in black, so we got the SE. Would definitely get the Titanium model next time with the start button, don't have to use the key.

Expected a lot, got more
I can't imagine someone being unhappy with this vehicle unless they got a lemon. It handles and drives amazing, the interior might as well be a lincoln in the Titanium trim. It does what it says, and its not taking me 7 hours to charge. 1 hour puts 4 miles on the Bat life. Using gas less than expected. Drove home 45 mins from dealer and put on another 100 miles. Gas stuck on F. It takes off quick, not that I'd drive like that too often. I do not notice horsepower limitations on highway either. I love the keyless start, entry. No finding keys. No gas! You will notice significantly quicker battery depletion with heater on.

Tesla would be ashamed...
Within in a 3 month period, car had to be towed back to the dealership because the battery (12v) went completely dead. First time it was fixed by the dealership, we were told it was a software issue. Second time it is still at the dealership. Tried jump starting the 12 v battery and that didn't work. With no electricity, you can't access the rear trunk and the electronic transmission is locked. The doors are locked and you can't get in without using the emergency key which is another challenge. Only a few months left on the lease and it only has 14k miles. One more time with this battery issue and I am going to invoke the Lemon Law in California. Sorry for the next person that buys this one.....

Not safe and many trips to the dealer
My car lost power on the freeway when I was driving in the car pool lane with no shoulder. I have plenty of gas but it did not switch over. The dealer updated the modules. There seems to be a problem with the modules on this car as I have had it for two years and they have had to be updated numerous times for everything from the windows not working properly, not switching over to gas power and time of use charging option. I am no longer under warranty due to the mileage and am being charged to update modules that seem to "break" randomly. This car could end up costing me a small fortune just in updates. Seems like a money pit for me and a way to keep funds coming into the dealer.
