F-350 Crew Cab Dually Diesel 8' Bed Lariat
This vehicle is a fully loaded Lariat with all options except leather captains chairs and chrome package. The tow boss package with 4.30 rear, 8 cylinder diesel, and 5 speed automatic make towing child's play. The incorporated trailer brake and exhaust brake make pulling heavy loads simple. The turbo diesel shows no signs of struggle with hilly terrain. The larger disk brakes and exhaust brake in tow mode make downhill journeys more pleasurable. While towing fully loaded during a recent trip through the mountains of Tennessee this truck showed no signs of slowing going up hill and the decent was not all a problem for this truck to handle.
F-350 Initial Opinions
I just picked up my new F-350 Diesel. Build quality is excellent, everything works as it should and no issues. I am new to diesel having had several Ford gas engines and this diesel is almost as quiet as the V10 I traded. Great truck, I will report back when there are some miles on it.

Tough 350
Ford improved so many items on this vehicle. The ride and tighter turning radius is fabulous. The V10 is like an electric powerhouse. The 5 speed automatic seems to be improved. I wish the Ford temperature gauges actually told the consumer what the temperatures are in degrees. Reflectors on the towing mirrors are easily damaged with any encounter; need to be relocated. I tow an 8000 lb trailer and it is hard to notice its presence.
Better than sex.
I have owned this truck for 12 years and it has been the most reliable vehicle I have ever had. It will easily do anything you ask of it, except give you a smooth ride. There is no mistake you are driving a real truck.

6.0 Diesel gets a bad rap…
I’ve kept the oil changed every 5,000-6,000 miles and never had anything seriously wrong happen. Selected 5.4L model below because 6.0L turbo diesel not an option under model…??
