I Love it !
I bought my truck almost as bare as they come. Even so, I love this truck a lot. The V6 has more than enough power to keep this truck moving and the new interior layout is the best in its class in my opinion. The tranny is silky smooth. The ride seems a little bouncy but I think it might be because I drive a sports car most of the time. It's been years since I drove a truck on a regular basis. The center console does rob the use of the center seat but so does the stick shift. I never planned on the center seat being used very much anyway so this doesn't bother me too much. There is quite a bit of storage area behind the seats as well.
My Mega Hemi ...FUN FUN FUN!
Proud Owner of a brand spanking new (12 miles on the odometer at time of purchase)1500 Mega Cab 4x4 Hemi.. It's an AWESOME Truck! Had 5 future Hemi owners with me (ranging from 6 to 10 yrs old)and they overwhelmingly approved as well. Just put 2400 miles on it getting back to where I am stationed and it was amazing how many people took interest during my travels. Had quite a few other pickup truck drivers staring hard as I drove across the country... probably wishing they were me. All I could think was.. " Yup, it's got a Hemi.."

My First Dodge
I have owned Ford, Chevy, GMC, Toyota, and Nissan Titan. So I figured why not Dodge? I purchased a 2006 SLT Mega cab 2WD with the 5.7 Hemi. After my purchase co-workers were telling me "That Hemi is a gas hog". I guess that if you are used to driving a Honda Civic or one of the hybrid vehicles that would be a true statement. However if you are in the market for a full size truck you expect that 40- 50 mpg is not in your sights. I currently have 2675 miles on it. and average (with conservative driving habits) about 13.6 mpg city and 17.5 Hwy. Not bad for a 3/4 ton truck. Pulling a tandem axle trailer loaded I recieved approx 9 MPG.
2006 Ram
I really enjoy this truck. It has the V6 and is getting 17-20 mpg city/hwy. Very good handling when towing or regular driving. The new power package is really nice on the ST models .
Simply the Best
A great truck. In real world driving it's returned 14.5 in mixed and 19 hwy mpg when using the cruise control. Outstanding for a 345 HP Hemi. It rides as well and is as quite as our Cadillac Escalade. I have the cloth seats and they are very comfortable. After a 700 mile trip, my back felt great! My truck was equiped with the Thunderroad pkg. I love the looks of the 20" rims. This truck has it all...quality build, awesome looks, muscle car power, and a comfortable ride that rivals the very best!! Combine that with Employee pricing and cash rebates and you have the very best value for a full size truck...bar none!!!
