my durango
I like the vehicles except that it rides very rough. It woould be perfect with a softer ride. Very bouncy on rough roads.
2001 Durango Review
Excellent choice for a mid-size SUV. 3 Sets of seats extremely beneficial especially the fact that both sets of rear seats lay down flat when the space is needed and the seats are not. 4.7 litre V8 is extemely potent. I tow a 19' boat and it does a great job. I own the 2 WD version (I live in the south no need for the added weight, suspension, etc.) so the ride is really plush for an SUV. Additionally, I get over 20 MPG on the highway. 3rd SUV I've owned in 8 years (2 Jeeps and now the Durango) and it was one of my favorites. If you're considering it, I'd highly recommend it.

Our Durango did us fine
We purchased the Durango because of its size and 7 passenger seating. We have the SLT AWD with 4.7. over 60000 miles and the vehicle has only been to the dealer for repair once to replace the AC under warrenty. The truck still looks new, the interior held up great, and it still looks great today. Power from the 4.7 was good and the sound coming from the exhaust is sweet. Are only complaints surround the AC and Brakes. The AC does have trouble cooling in really high temperatures and the anti-lock brakes are not very comforting when engaging, but upgrades pads and rotors fixed some of the problem.
Durango SLT plus
This truck is fun to drive. It is powerful and practical.
Serves purpose well
We are not mini van folks so the Durango was an obvious choice for us having our third daughter on the way. The gas milage is about average however, it does great on long trips.
