Fast! Fun! Great looks! Very comfortable! Why wouldn't you want to drive one? The only answer I can think of is that you haven't tried one yet! I traded a Lincoln in for my Top Banana R/T and have suffered NOTHING in the way of comfort, handling/performance or style. The only thing the Lincoln had that the Charger does not is good visibility. I can only say that to appreciate the excellent build, ride, and fun of this car you must test drive one. It ranks as the best car I've ever owned, and I've had a run at most of them out there!

Best Car I have ever owned!

The size, the power, the styling, and that scowl of the front end hooked me from the start. I have always owned Japanese cars and was reluctant to try Dodge particularly in the first model year. But now I am glad I did. This car kicks, turns heads and is fast, responsive, comfortable and quiet. Rides like a Mercedes. I have silver with 20" chrome wheels and Goodyear RSA Z rated performance tires, a real head turner! I have had no problems at all so I am surprised at some of the reviews where people have. This car shines like a diamond in a sea of what seems to be a lot of ugly drab cars today.

Luv the power

My 2nd Dodge, 05/27/2008

This is my 2nd Dodge. I do not have the Hemi, and I feel there is no need to really have it. I wish it had the radio and other controls on the steering wheel like my Monte. I use the manual shift at times when I need that extra power in tight places. Great on gas for the power it has. My favorite color is the Black. I have had one problem with the car, and I have had it into the Dodge Dealer 2x's and they still don't have it fixed. The right side rear window motor keeps going bad and now that it is out the service agreement I'm not really sure who to trust in fixing the problem. I wish it came with a sunroof also. Great looking car for it being a 4 door, I never thought I would buy one.

I have the RT Road and Track package. My dad has the regular RT package and it’s a noticeable difference. Mines is a 2006 and his is a 2007. Once again it’s a noticeable difference.

I've only had my car for 5 days but it is just an incredible feeling to get behind the wheel of this car. So comfortable, solidly built, you feel safe, secure and at the same time stylish. I love everything about it!

Soft floating ride, hard seats, horrible blind spots, noisy engine, hard shifts. What else, horrendous ergonomics: cant adjust rear view mirror easily, it is too close to roof line. Waistline is too high, ergo can't rest elbow on door with window open. Cheap plastic interior, door mounted window switch bracket now broken. Awful cheap radio. Turn signal stalk too low on steering column, too easy to grab cruise control stalk by mistake. The most sensitive car to side winds I have ever driven, is it the steering geometry or just the aerodynamics of the bricklike shape? Need I go on, this is a sorry piece of automotive engineering rightly relegated to to rental fleets.

I LOVE this car!! I wanted to get something with plenty of room but still sporty, my husband and I went shopping and we saw this red Charger RT and I automatically wanted to drive it! I pressed the gas and I had that feeling, The feeling of LOVE!!! I have had it for a year and I love it now as much as I did the day I drove it home.

Yup, It's another Mopar alright

Mopar is back with the return of the Charger. I think that they should have saved the return of the HEMI for the return of the Charger to make a huge come back, but hey, thats just me. This car is no slouch on the gas pedal, and less than half way up the rpm range, you realize what a Hemi is all about. This is an excellent reincarnation of the classic Mopar performance car.

This car has a lot to give a person who likes the feel of four doors but has the power to be, more than just a four door sedan. The gas mileage is good could be better, but over all it performs, like a sports car. I get lots of looks when I first bought this vehicle, people just did not know of it, that what so nice about this vehicle people are just starting to catch on.

Worth my dollars!

The Daytona RT I purchased is turning out to be the dream car I never knew I wanted till I got it. It is fun to drive, it's gas mileage is awesome for a V8 Hemi, it looks incredible, and most importantly, it's a Dodge. My previous 2 vehicles were Dodge and in my experience Dodge = Dependability. You can feel the MDS kick in to improve the gas mileage and it doesn't take much learning to figure out the proper way to drive this car. If you want power, it's got plenty to spare.. when your cruising at 75 and need to pass someone, when you press the gas pedal, you GIT... Worth every penny.

I haven't had this much fun since my '64 GTO. This car has plenty of power, good handling characteristics and ain't that hard on the eyes. Get in the throttle and you'll see the muscle car heritage. Plus, it's pretty comfortable. A little stiff, but that's what you're gonna need when you drive this brute through her paces. I think Dodge hit a home run with this car. You're going to need a new tire "cookie jar" because when you talk to this one, she answers!

I was actually shopping for a Cadillac; test drove Cadillac, BMW, Audi, Mercedes, then saw the Dodge Charger. Drives like a dream; when they say "performance" they really mean PERFORMANCE!!! Tight, responsive handling; glide of a ride; lots of rear seat head room; on-demand power with a very light foot. Fabulous visual impression with striking impact. AWESOME!!! My son is even impressed with the Hemi!The problem is getting the opportunity to drive myself, as my husband & son are competing for the priviledge of chaufering me :-}

This car has the illusion of a late 60's muscle car. The power, performance and feel are a whole lot better. Not only is this car the most fun I have ever driven, it is a real eye catcher. Try stepping out of the Charger RT in any parking lot without having someone ask you how you like it or make some kind of comment about it.

It's all good. It goes, but with 250hp you might as well made it 300hp for the 3.5L and used the 250 for the 2.4L V6. The rearview mirror is a little too far away to adjust. For $23,000 the 3.5L V6 SE could have at least gotten some aluminum wheels instead of plastic covers.

Went the distance and got a silver R/T w/Performance Group - well worth it, esp the leather seats. Mine is the only one in the 'hood and all are transfixed. Took it from Quebec to Georgia and back and smiled the whole time. The smooth sure performance of this machine amazes. Its 350 ponies yield so much mature, confident power I can only shake my head when some kid is foolish enough to provoke it by revving up his engine at a stoplight. This Dodge muscle car is King of the Road and all must concede the fact. I highly recommend it to anyone. But if you go for it, make sure its equipped with its legendary growling soul: the Hemi engine that makes the crazy sane and the sane crazy...

This is my wife's car and she loves it. We have driven it on long trips and completely enjoy the power and comfort of a Hemi Charger. She enjoys the security of being able to pull out in traffic without worry. Only negative is in the snow because the Hemi has so much power. But you just put it in 2nd or 3rd and she will handle it fine. Greta car!
