I can't explain how awesome this car is i love it so much it's so fast so comfortable and i have no complaints. I'm used to driving my 1995 dodge Dakota, but now wit this 5.7 lr hemi powered beast man it's no match i drive it everywhere and the whole time im on the road, the eyes are on my, i put a srt-8 spoiler on it and it is a dark red with silver pinstripe. white leather interior, sunroof smoothest ride i have ever been in and a custom chrome grill. i could go on but i'm am leaving it at that, but i can't say one bad thing about this car.

I'm 38 yrs old with a family of 4. After some extensive research and looking for a good all around family car, I purchased a 2006 Dodge Charger RT with spoiler showing 46,000 km on the odometer. The Charger RT has great looks, grin smiling power, and is a great all around family car with lots of rear trunk space. The interior is simple & pleasing. Gas mileage on the highway is fairly decent as long as you keep it under 110km/h as the MDS will stay on. Highway 24-28 mpg. It's hard to keep good gas mileage though with the HEMI when you have 340hp at the mercy of your right foot. At the end of the day, this car is an amazing bang for the buck. PS. Put a K&N Cold Air Intake on!

After driving SUVs for years. I checked out some cars. I needed a larger car with a good backseat. Ruled out the Mustang GT. The 1 I kept looking at was the new Charger RT. Only thing I didn't care for was the standard leather interior. But, I didn't want the stripes on the Daytona. Once I saw an RT with the Road & Track Pkg, I knew that was the car I wanted. Love the interior & all the features of the new Charger. Great styling, power & handling. It is a solid built car. Doesn't have the cheap plastic interior like a lot of vehicles. After added few accessories I couldn't be happier. Interested in this size car, you NEED to check it out!

Well, it's this simple..if you test drive, YOU BUY.....I knew I was buying the vehicle the moment I test drove it.....The HEMI v8 RT definitely got some power to it. It's only a matter of time before I get a ticket because this car gets up and before you know it, you're doing 55 in a 35 zone. The Mustang is a cool car but it doesn't have the room inside the Charger has. When I got inside the car, I had no ideal it had that much room both for the driver and the passenger It's very comfortable. It also turns corners well and on a dime. When I buy a car, I want the best for my money. So I look for exterior as well as interior. The RT has BOTH!!

I just plain love my new 2006 Dodge Charger. I am finding any excuse to drive my Charger, and my kids love riding in it. The Charger is an awesome sight to behold, it looks and performs like a true muscle car. I have gotten nothing but compliments about my Charger. Everything rocks with the Charger, even the stereo. I hope Chrysler keeps it up, they seem to know what American cars are suppost to look like and perform.

A good driving car. For the most part the car does a good job of hiding its ponderous weight. I would recommend getting the R&T Performance group and definitely Sirius satellite radio. Exhaust note sounds better the more you drive the car, but if you're used to TownCar like quietness, you're going to be upset. In general I'm a pretty low key guy, and I've had trouble dealing with the volume of comments, looks, etc. that have come with driving this car. The Road and Track performance group will give you the best seats that you've ever had in a car (unless you've had the Recaros in the Evo).

Dodge did a great job with the re- design. I'm a muscle car fan myself but this gives us a tatse of both worlds. My two boys love it and no longer want to ride in the '04 Durango (with a Hemi). They say it's not as cool as the Charger. Fun to drive! Looks fast just sitting in my driveway! Throttle response is great. Very comfortable leather seats. Plenty of leg room in the back.

I love this car! It's very quiet, and the Hemi is amazing. I urge everyone to buy one while they are here. The transmission is seamless and the suspension is just right, at least with the R/T version. Styling is different that the plain stuff coming from the other companies. Wait until they come out with a Cuda.

I purchased this car over the phone sight unseen and am absolutely thrilled with its looks, performance, handling, and comfort. It is a limited production car that will not be a daily driver or driven in wet weather. I am keeping the car in brand new condition so that it can be enjoyed for years to come. Hopefully it will be a collectable just like the original Hemi! At only 1050 miles the only issues I have are way excessive amounts of brake dust, and a transmission that has a pump and/or torque converter whine.

This is a beautiful, fun to drive car. It transitions nicely from being a family sedan to a "hot" ride quickly. The safety features are impressive, and while many have said the interior leaves much to be desired, I find the design very "woman friendly". We have driven out in the country to see how well the car responds, and let me tell you....it rocks!!

I owned a 2003 G35 coupe which I loved, but traded for the SRT-8. Unbelievable car with a great deal of Mercedes influence in the suspension and trans. Extremely fast, quick and with uncanny braking power for such a large car. The main surprise was how comfortable it is on the road and how quickly you may pass with a slight touch of the pedal. The mileage is not great---around 17 all around and 20 on the highway, but then again that is to be expected. LOVE IT!!!

Always wanted a car that does not look like the rest, has a nice line too it, rides with comfort but yet is aggressive when needed, interior is quiet, comfy and has room for my big shoulders. A car that has the power when needed to make those quick passes. Wink! Wink! A car you feel safe in when driving. But most of all... a car you can custom to fit your personality. Just remember, like all cars you will have your maintenance but with this car you can spend a few extra bucks and go high performance and not lose your shirt paying for the parts. If you enjoy muscle cars... GET IT. If you don't...don't waste your money. Pro's... HEMI, comfort, style Con's... Can't think of any

Lots of bang for the buck and just plain headturning good looks. If this has the dependability of the Chrysler 300C, this is a full 10. My only complaint is that is lacks a bit of feel due to the ESP driving system. The Hemi 5.7 actually gets pretty decent mileage for the liter displacement due to the shutoff of 4 of the 8 cylinders during low output situations, but you can definitely smoke the tires easily with this powerplant.

The V6 Charger is an excellent car to have. Performance is more than sufficient, gas mileage is terrific, and the comfort and looks just can't be beat. The SE baseline is no base car. Beautifully done cloths seat with trememdous comfort in seating, contrasting interior color combinations makes it very attractive - more so than the leather versions. The dash is uncomplicated and refreshing to see. Fun to drive, even spiritedly ! Definitely an eye catcher for sure. Go the next step with a performance chip (to use regular gas) and a free flowing intake and exhaust and you'll unleash a muscle car proportion capability.. Great fun, with no lose in mileage. Just a great car, bar none. Thanks Dodge!

The car looks great. You get a lot of "thumbs up" when you are driving. Talk about a head turner, there must be a lot of people with sore necks watching you drive by. The car rides and drives like or better that a Lexus, with 340hp under the hood. It's great to have a rear seat DVD for the kids, nav system, heated leather seats, Sirius radio, room for the family, and all the performance you could want. It's also great to be able to take the kids to school, fill up the huge trunk at the grocery store, and still be able to blow away some punk kid in a foreign car. I never though I would ever own a Dodge. This car changed my mind.

I actually bought my 06 RT with 25000 miles on it and a minor crash with about 2000 dollars worth of damage to bumper, fender, roof. I got it fixed and then promptly hit an elk, car jumped it nicely. put black 18's on it,the car is metallic black and totally plain and I absolutely love it. Of course the hemi is awesome, I am totally stock, would like new exhaust for more sound but it is great just the way it is! Gas mileage is about 21 on the highway but I can NEVER keep my foot out of it, love to pass everyone uphill!

My wife hates the Magnum, "no wagon no matter what it has in it". I've liked since it came out but respected her opinion on wagons. Needless to say the Charger is no wagon. I traded in a Mercedes C240, and we bought it on first sight. The Charger is more fun than any 4door car has a right to be. With the 5.7Hemi it runs in the 1/4mile with my 68'327 4speed Vette. Granted the Vette doesn't have ESP tech, but it is 1,500lbs lighter. I don't believe it has a bad angle exterior wise, and there really is nothing that looks like it on the road. I don't care what muscle car purest think about a 4door Charger. I have my toys. This is a pure driving enthusiast dream come true, only in a practical sense.

The Charger is the perfect blend of family car and performance car. The base 3.5L V6 maintains good balance between ample power and decent fuel economy. The SE is well appointed, without all the deluxe options that drive up price. The Charger is the perfect car for a family man (or woman) looking for sport styling that turns heads, while maintaining low cost of ownership and a funtional family vehicle.

This car has help up extremely well, the paint is the only thing I take issue with as there is some light fading only. Interior has help up very well, leather still in great shape. Performance is as strong as it was when new, brakes still strong with the original pads!!! Gas mileage varies with how hard you hit the HEMI, set the cruise at 70 and get 26.5 mpg, set it at 60 and get between 30-31 mpg! The best part is while getting those mpg #'s it will still hit 60 in under 6 seconds, I think the only car I would replace this with would be the Challenger R/T or SRT- 8 or another Charger R/T or SRT-8. They all run as good as they look, plus they can carry 4 or 5 people in comfort and style.

I waited 20 years for Dodge to build a car like the new Charger. I have an early production Charger R/T with no options. I love the beast! Lots of power, especially at low RPM, big brakes, and decent handling without killing the ride. And the styling is just great! Excellent fuel economy for a full size car if you keep your foot off the gas (good luck at that). The power steering is typical Mopar - lots of feel, but also lots of boost and no centering power, so you have to keep an eye on the car. She will wander off if you aren't careful. It helps to drive with both hands, which also makes the turn signal and cruise control placement make sense.

I got my '06 Charger Daytona with high hopes, and am very disappointed. The car is a joy to drive with its quiet interior, and delicious ride. The nav system and bluetooth give the interior a modern feel. The exhaust note is great when you hit the gas, but quiet when you cruise. That's it for the good news. The car is sluggish at low speeds, due to its 4,000 lb. weight and 2.82:1 gear. The MDS system doesn't work well past 60 mph. Mileage is a dismal 17 hwy, 10 city, & the rated 350 HP from the bogus hemi (it's a "semi- hemi", not a real hemi) is a joke. Not recommended.

A friend who knows fine cars said that the Hemi-RT feels like a $50,000 car even though my Charger is the $30,000 Charger RT with the fancy red paint as its only option. Every morning turning the key to bring the Hemi V8 to life makes me smile and the power drivers seat and with the lether as well as the multi adjustable wheel and Boston Acustic 6 speaker sound system make this car a very good value at its price point. The Charger feels solid as a bank vault and the attention that this car gets at the store or buying gas makes me feel sort of like a rock star. The 340 HP Hemi will get an honest 24 MPG on the highway if you let it. Bottom line I cant wait for my next drive!

I love my car, but don't like the fact that the only difference noticeable is the HEMI on the side from the basic 3.5. The interior could have more comfortable seating and the option on the RT could be a heck of a lot more than is offered in the selling deal. The dash board in the RT should be Indigo blue, the driving light should have blue like tint. Make the RT more attractive for the beautiful car that it is.

I purchased car new 2/06, 1st 15000 miles no problems. Then a transmission leak which was fixed by the dealer. Front rotors warped around 24000 which I had to pay to repair. Around 28000 miles rocker arm shaft dowels sheared in both exhaust shafts- engine rebuild under warranty. Around 32000 miles outer tie rod ends replaced under warranty. Now at 39300 miles I am told that inner tie rod ends are shot & Steering gear needs replacing. Dealership trying to get this covered under warranty but if not $1000 out of my pocket. Never had a car with this many problems so early on. I do not beat on the car and have changed oil every 3000 miles. Must have got a bad one.

Charger with 3.5L is a good balance between performance and practicality. Since I do a lot of city driving the HEMI scared me if gas prices go much higher. Have been an import owner for years so this car is a bit different. Love the exterior styling. Definitely could use more "gingerbread" features on the interior. The dash is nice but the interior is loaded with cheapish looking materials, even the "leather" seats appear to be more vinyl. Drives beautifully, nice and quiet and good pick-up. I got the power sunroof as to not feel closed in by its low windshield as I am a taller person.

There's no doubt this car is what Dodge intended to create when they designed this baby. A straight- loving American muscle car that grudgingly slumps around corners and then takes off again. My Daytona Charger is quite a head-turner, especially where I live in Daytona Beach, Florida. I love the ability to outrun smaller, faster LOOKING cars and have them stare in disbelief. I love my Daytona and would absolutely suggest it to anyone who isn't looking to spend too much for (relatively) great performance.

Front brake rotors have been replaced 4 times - Had to go w/ after mkt vented/slotted/drilled rotor. Motor mount replaced, some front suspension parts replaced, and car eats tires. Ride, power, performance, and comfort are excellent. Interior plastics are not highest grade. Sound system, Nav, and Bluetooth are trouble free and work great. Paint is holding up beautifully. Overall - a nice car w/some quirks, great engine performance, expensive to maintain, very high fun-to-drive factor.

Excellent car. Fuel mileage is so-so (16.6 combined), but we expected that before purchase. Rides great, handles good, accelerates quickly and smoothly. Can't go anywhere without getting comments or questions about the car. Electronics Convenience Package, Premium Stereo and Convenience Package II are excellent options, making the perfect driving position a possibility for ANY sized driver. Only drawback about the car is that the "chopped/low roofline" requires you to "bend forward" at intersections to see traffic lights if you're first at the light.

The car is so comfortable and after only one weekend of driving, it rides very smooth. The sound system is well balanced although the bass is heavy and seems to be for those who like their music to go boom. I was able to get comfortable behind the wheel right away and all the options on the console make it a gadget bug's dream. And as far as performance, its a Hemi.

I use this in my job as a road car and very happy to report that after the first month it is a better ride than the 300M I was driving. The body design is very aggressive with everyone commenting on how good it looks. The Inferno Red is a great color. The seats sit very comfortably even after many hours on the road. I have the leather seats with the heated seats that really helps the lower back. The dash is very clean and functional. The interior is a two tone leather that is very nice looking. The car handles very well in all kinds of traffic. The trunk is large enough to carry luggage and my golf bag. Change the cruise control location and add compass in mirror. Great Car.

I've never owned a Dodge in my life. I think I was missing the boat. It's a tight, quiet, comfortable 4 door Tank. With the 5.7L Hemi the gas mileage is low but the 4/6/8 cylinder shut down system works pretty well. On the highway the mileage quickly is 24mpg with an added plus of using regular gas. Overall, a great car with a happy owner.

My previous car was coming off of lease in 3 days and I need to pick a new car. I spent the better part of three months searching, but I kept coming back to the Charger R/T. The aggressive look and of course the Hemi had a strong draw for me. In addition to that, I liked the considerable amount of room in the cabin. Oh, and did I mention the Hemi? There are a lot of quality cars out there, but when it came to leg room (front and back), power, and stunning looks, the Charger just could not be beat.

This is more car than I need; However I am gald I have it all. Very comfortable with the R/T Road and Track package seats. Once you get the idea and the car learns how you want it to go it goes better then most out there. The gas mileage is OK for the power you get out of it. I had leased it but may want to buy out my lease and keep it for longer than expected. Fun family car
