Purchased a 2004 AWD Inferno Red Pacifica last Saturday. This truck? This Car? This crossover? This whatever it is, looks great, rides great and has all the cool toys like NAV and DVD video. Got a great deal on it and I hope in 3 years it rides and looks just as it does today.

Incredible Car for the Money

This is a great crossover vehicle. Wonderful ride, easy to drive, plenty of room for a family of four. We've owned several SUV's and this beats them all, even the Land Rover Discovery. For the money there isn't a better buy out there. Thanks to Chrysler for another great car and (the lack of marketing that allowed for great cash back offers to get them on the road.)

This car excells on the open road. I have a well optioned front drive and have been well pleased. Interior room and comfort are remarkable. The interior lacks height compared to a van or SUV, but I have managed to haul some rather impressive items nonetheless. Handling is exceptional for such a large vehicle. It is quite stable. I have found acceleration sufficient for my needs. This car eats up Interstate miles and keeps you happy while doing so.

We travel from LA to Colorado a few times a year so we wanted something that could handle the snow and our gear, would still be comfortable and would get better milage that the big SUV we had. We got it. This car is amazing. It handles beautifully, is fun to drive, has a much better interior design than any of the other crossovers we tested (Including the SRX) and we got a great deal on it. We did a lot of research and test driving. We were willing to spend the money for the Cadillac, but liked this better. This is the best of the crossovers.

I bought my Pacifica as a business car to replace a 2001 Buick LeSabre. I'm in sales and spend a lot of time in my car, 25K to 30K annually. I'm also a big man and needed a car big enough to feel comfortable in for so many hours at a time. Pacifica gave me all the room I needed, both laterally for hips and shoulders, as well as lots of leg and foot room. I can extend my left foot under the brake pedal and lock my left knee straight out. Not bad room for someone 6'3". Interior wise, there's as much room across the front as my LeSabre. Front passenger leg and seat room are also outstanding. Back seat room in the bucket seats is amazing.

I was shopping for a new SUV and looked everywhere for great price. Well finally found it and this crossover has been horrible for us. First thing wrong 4 days after buying it car shuts down on expressway no reason, next oil leaking, next starts making clapping noise, next starts kicking back while driving as if changing gears! Next had to have pulley tensioner replaced now making horrible noise that wont go away, now alternator is failing! What else can go wrong, this was supposed to be my dream car n turns out to be a nightmare!

A very good car on dry pavement but very unstable in the snow for front- wheel drive version. Back end skitters out in the snow. Otherwise on dry roads, great handling. Probably would recommend AWD if I had to buy again.

This is the best car I have ever owned! I required a larger vehicle for my newborn twins, their double stroller and a host of other things I need to haul around. I feel much too hip for a mini van and a little more sophisticated than a large truck. The Pacifica is a perfect fit. I never hesitate to tell people about my joy when they stop me on the street to ask questions.

We purchased a loaded AWD Satin Jade version, and couldn't be more pleased with the styling, appearance; it is a very sharp looking car (we thought the darker colors didn't really compliment the uniqueness of the exterior styling). We were primarily looking for functionality, and never having owned a minivan, I wasn't quite prepared to make a leap into one. Chrysler has answered my prayers with the Pacifica. It provides first class seating for four, PLUS an extra row! Performance wise, it is most fun going around corners; the traction is amazing. The self-leveling suspension is a real kick. For what we got, we did not find the car pricey.

Never thought I'd want to trade my Expedition until I saw this ride. Took 6 months, but I finally test drove and never stepped back into my SUV. Didn't settle for anything less than ALL the extras and so glad we didn't, we'll have this one til it dies. We drove through a couple other "top end" dealerships looking for a car for the in-laws and at both places salesmen came out and looked it over inside and out and told us how great it is... like we didn't know!

Very pleased by the luxury, performance and value of this car. Such a sharp looking car, with all the amenities and great performance, plus six truly comfortable bucket seats! So much more for the same price as European SUV's!! It's really the best kept secret around. Chrysler should advertise it more, because it has so much to offer for the price, including a top notch safety and driving experience. This is an amazing contender!

We looked at the Volvo XC90 and the Acura MDX but always came back to the Pacifica. Five star ratings for front and side impact as well as the beutiful look and ride brought us to the dealership. MSRP was $40.2K but got it for $35K. We love it! We find the acceleration more than adequate despite the reviews. The cabin speaks quality and it is extremely quiet at highway speeds. The rear bench folds flat on the cargo floor creating more than enough room. A volvo XC90 or Acura MDX would have costed us over $10k more than what we paid and still no nav system.

We bought this car for my wife who wanted something luxurious but taller sitting seat wise. We have taken two trips, one over a thousand miles round trip and were comfortable the whole way. It could use more power but it had no problem cruising at above legal speeds up hills and valleys. Our previous car had a 5 speed transmission which I think would have helped this engine. We receive a lot of stares and positive comments about the car. Everyone seems to like it. Especially mini van owners.

The fact that this vehicle is the "first of a new breed" is what I enjoy about it most. I find it to be unique, yet very versitile and practical. It has the ride of a car, with the convenience of a van, and the performance of a truck. It is attractive (a definite eye catcher) yet it fills all the needs, anyone could have in a vehicle.

Extremely comfortable ride for my family of four who does all our traveling by car. Higher stance than a traditional wagon yet you never get the feeling you're driving a truck or van. Easily accessible third row seat gives each of our kids the chance to 'bring a friend' along to movies or outings, and makes arranging carpools much easier. For a mom who spends a lot of time taxiing her kids around, I'm thrilled to have a comfortable and stylish vehicle to do it in!

Basically I am very pleased with the Pacifica except for one very disappointing imperfection. The suspension is noisy. Minor imperfections in the road, parking lots etc. produce near continuous background knocking or "thunking" noise from the suspension. As roughness in the road increases so does the noise to where a moderate bump can, but not always, produce loud "thunks" for lack of a better word. Only on the smoothest roads is the suspension quiet. Do others note this condition???

This uniquely-designed SUV is perfect for the mom who does not want to be labeled a "soccer-mom". And sporty enough for the wanna-be "macho" dad. However, this vehicle is versatile enough that it can appeal not only to a family but to singles as well as a two- person cohabitates. The Pacifica is sleek, but sporty; fun, but reliable. In fact it feels like a sports car with its quick acceleration. We highly recommend this vehicle for anyone looking for an affordable, sporty, economical, and attractive SUV.

This has been one of the best cars I have owned. For an SUV, it rides like a dream on the Mercedes chassis. It has been extremely reliable. The only minor problem I had was the setback button for the top part of the seat would not work, but the mechanic fiddled with it and got it working. I still have the original brakes at 57k! My hubby had an LHS when they first came out; it was also one of his favorite cars, and he has since owned a Cadillac and two BMWs. I also owned a Chrysler van which had no problems either. If they made this in a hybrid, I would buy it again.

The car drives better than any car I've ever driven. Handeling is wonderful. Our problem has been service. The engine light has come on twice. The first time they could not locate the problem. The second time we waited forever on a part and was told by hte service manager parts are extremly hard to get. He said he had over a hundred cars that had been waiting as long as 9 weeks on parts.

Traded in Suburban for Pacifica AWD. Nice styling. Nice, smooth ride. Seats not as comfortable as Suburban. 14.7 mpg on last tank (significantly worse than advertised @ 17 mpg city!) Hi-end Surround Sound sys. is great IN COMPARISON AGAINST STANDARD SYS. - BUT, It falls short of other mfr's 5.1 systems (2004 Acura TL system has much better acoustics and clarity!) Navi sys is quite useful, BUT don't like having it in center of speedo. C-Pillar dangerously obstructs view.

I selected the AWD with heated leather seats as best for Wisconsin winters. After three months of winter driving, I found it to be safe, comfortable - a joy to drive even on slippery roads and sub-zero days. The stability of the platform on all kinds of roads and in all kinds of turns is outstanding. As to gas mileage, I knew going in that it was going to be about 20 mpg and after 1500 or so miles, 21 on the highway and 18+ in town are the rule. Likewise acceleration of a 2.5 ton vehicle is not that bad. I have had several Chrysler Vans that were a lot lighter and didn't do that much better.

This purchase was a replacement for my dying Jeep... and although I still miss my Jeep, this was a great replacement buy! The vehicle offers much of the same options available in similar vehicles with about the same price line. o Seating is spacious and comforatble. o Once the vehicle gets moving, it picks up beautifully. o The ride is exceptionally quite (except if you have only one window open - then you get that buffeting noise :) ) o Mileage is better than expected (remember I'm coming from a Jeep). Overall, I think this is an excellent buy especially for folks with older kids in the family - less fighting because there's no touching.

Stepping out of a vehicle without driving fatigue is a pleasure. No reliability problems to date and performance is acceptable for highway passing. I recommend a fully optioned Pacifica. A used buy is excellent value. It is too bad Chrysler mgmt. has not backed the higher priced Pacifica concept as it is an original design & quality build.

The Car is a modern station wagon. The power isn't great, but it will do for a mother of 2 and 2 dogs. You have to be carefull of blind spots. About the same as any other SUV. Its unique, but will it last? It has to Mercedes bet a lot on it. Shares a lot of interior style with Mercedes. You get a lot of car for 35g. Much more than GM. The DVD is great. I give it high marks for toys...Average for power, good for ride. Don't pay more than invoice. They gave me 500 under plus 3000 cash back. They aren't flying out.

We weren't planning on getting a new car this year, but a rear-ending accident, totalling my Chrysler Town and Country suddenly put us in the market. We were pretty much ready to by either a new mini-van (not my first choice) or a large SUV when my wife saw a commercial for the Pacifica. We decided to take a look over the weekend and halfway through the test drive, we were both sold. The Pacifica is so unique in many ways both my wife and I love it. And we get plenty of attention from the curious where ever we go.

Every where we go in southern California, we get more looks than when I am in my Porsche. My wife and I laugh at all the attention the Pacifica gets. The vehicle is the most impressive vehicle I have owned, ever! The ride is awesome and quiet, the amenities are great. We make excuses to go places just so we can drive in the car! Honestly, I believe the Pacifica has set a new standard for SUV's and Mini Vans in appearance and luxury.
