The roomiest in class
My first SUV in over 20 years and can’t believe I’ve waited so long to go back.. test drove the Ford Explorer and Honda Pilot.. The traverse was the roomiest and Hands down felt the smoothest. I’m 6 03 and this suv has more than enough leg room and space in all three rows. Gas mileage has been surprisingly low as well. Great job Chevy
BEWARE
Love the size and style of my 2019 Traverse. Only issue I have encountered is the brakes have been squeaking since a couple weeks after I purchased it and they keep telling me it is normal. I don't know about you but I don't want to pay for a brand new car that squeaks. I have gotten a different explanation every time I have asked about it but still no resolution! Chevy should notify customers in humid areas that the brakes could possibly be squeaky. I would have NEVER purchased this vehicle had I known that they can't figure out how to make brakes that hold up to the environment. I definitely won't make that mistake again!

Check engine light on and transmission went ou
I loved the traverse until the transmission went out. Only 3,000 miles and it wouldn't shift out of first gear. I hope the dealership will get it fixed, but I'm concerned that they will only patch the problem long enough to get me through the warranty. Update on 7-29-21. Traverse now doesn't shift into park when turning the ignition off. I shift it to park, shut off the ignition, and then the I'm prompted to shift it into park. The only remedy is to start the ignition, shift out of park, and then shift back into park.
Engine issues
Engine light came on after like 10k miles and they replaced the exhaust manifold. Now at 39k miles there is an awful rattling noise and rpm is revving higher than it should. They are thinking bad catalytic converter. Sounds like this might be a frequent issue with 2019 traverse. Not happy with this at all!! So beware! Get extended bumper to bumper warranty.

2019 Traverse - Leaves a LOT to be desired
I have been wanting to write a review for months now on my 2019 Traverse LT. My very first complaint has to do with the Bluetooth. Can you tell me why it takes so long to connect? Any why Chevy cannot make it so my Bluetooth automatically plays after it finally does connect? Also, my two USB ports that connect to my screen have stopped working 13 months after purchase. I hate the auto-stop "feature" that is actually not a feature AT ALL. I did not purchase the model with the second row "captain's seats" and the seat belt for the middle seat in my second row has already been replaced because it was crushed by my kids trying to get into the the third row. The driver window does not have the auto up feature where you can push the button up once and the window automatically closes completely. I drove a 2013 Honda Accord for 6 years before getting a bigger car and I never once complained about any of those things (besides the seatbelts because obviously, my Accord did not have a third row). I thought those "features" were standard in all cars because honestly, my Honda was 6 years old and things had to have improved, right? I never bothered to ensure this car had those things and I regret it so much!!! Don't get me wrong, the main reason I bought this car was because it was the only car in my budget that could seat 6+ people and that it does comfortably but it could be SO much better. It actually needs to be better!!!
