LEASE IT, DON'T BUY IT
2nd and 3rd row seats are not adult friendly as they're not comfortable and not large enough to accommodate. MPG not all that great, averaging 19 MPG for my recent 2000 mi round trip with family of 3 and gear. Mix city/hwy MPG average 15 mpg. At 3K, transmission had to get work done to it as it lost 3.5 qt of oil (where it went was not known). Doesn't haul my 18' aluminum boat well but does the job, MPG is worse or similar to a 3/4 ton truck, 10 mpg. Don't like the covers for sunroof and wished the 2nd sunroof would open but they don't. Don't like the radio unit, could use real buttons that go down when pushed. Rides decent and quiet on hwy. 3.5L V6 is under power for as big as it is.
Worth the money
We got our money's worth, great ride good on trips. Quiet comfortable and handles well, will purchase another.

I Love My traverse!
There are so many things I love about this car but the main thing is how useful it is but great looking at the same time. I'm a soccer mom and realtor with often high end clients so my car has to be capable of double duty and it does just that. It's totally spacious with a third row of seating that still offers Plenty of storage even with the seats in use. It gives me all the practicality of a van with a very stylish look that I feel confident driving clients Around in. Just a couple of design flaws that are a bit irritating as a person who really needs the utility of a vehicle. 1. There's literally no place for your dry cleaning. The hooks are placed along the shoulders of the second row captains chairs and the only way to utilize them for clothing is to put the chairs down and not use them. I often need a change of clothes so purchased a wardrobe bar to place on the second set of hooks towards the back but I have to literally climb into the hatch in order to reach them. The cup holders also have no cutout for a cup handle which is pretty annoying. Also a lot of the plastic parts for various items in the vehicle have broken off. A lot. Other than that I feel the benefits far outweigh the downfalls

2015 New Traverse caught on fire while parked!
My new 2015 Traverse caught on fire by itself while parked. I drove 2.1 miles to work, parked and within 15 mins the car was on fire, flames shooting up. Totaled. Fire department had to put the fire out. GM does NOT want to me make me whole for my loss. I need to be made whole, I have been making payments for a car I no longer have (caught on fire), had to rent a car in the meantime and they don't want to return my $5,000 deposit. How do I get another car? Why doesn't GM think they need to make me whole. Have you seen the massive recalls they have on Traverse and Acadias? Make me whole! That's all.

I love this car!
I've been loving this car since I knew how comfortable it to drive. Easy steering and easy changing of gears.
