Great Truck!
I have over 110,000 miles on my p/u and have had only one part break ($25 U-joint + 1 hour of my time to replace). I'd say that's great reliability! Still runs close to as strong as when I bought it and can pull a loaded trailer (roughly 5,000 lbs) with no problems.
Awsome truck
Its the best chevrolet truck i haved ever owned, and it has pretty good power with the 5.3, and rides better then my 1999 ford xlt 150 4x4

I am very happy with my purchase and I am glad I got the 5.3. The gas milage is about the same as the V6, however the power is above and beyond. The workmanship is outstanding for an assembly line vehicle. The gas milage and performance will improve with the addition of Gibson headers and a K&N Induction system.
Johnny
Exelent truck, ive never driven anything better. I hope they keep making theese trucks, because I love them.
Its a winner
After shopping around and doing my homework I'm glad I got the Silverado. With the 4.3L and 5 speed I'm getting 20+ mpg and have plenty of power for light hauling. The ride is better than the others and it makes the Tundra look punny when you compare the box capacity. The design and engineering of this truck are outstanding.
