Good Solid Truck
The power in the new Silverado's is what made me pick it above the competition. The new look is great too. It rides quite comfortably and handles very well for a full-size pickup. With the biggest tires available stock from Chevy, the lowest point to the ground besides the tire is approximately 9.5 inches off the ground which is exceptional ground clearance for a stock truck. With what I do to pickups, i need the kind of off-road performance that the Z71 off-road package delivers. This is a good truck.
Its a winner
After shopping around and doing my homework I'm glad I got the Silverado. With the 4.3L and 5 speed I'm getting 20+ mpg and have plenty of power for light hauling. The ride is better than the others and it makes the Tundra look punny when you compare the box capacity. The design and engineering of this truck are outstanding.
Great Truck
Great ride. Quiet and comfortable. Well engineered interior, although kind of cheesy. No room behind seat and no right arm rest for driver. Handling is way above average. Turning radius isn't great, but very acceptable. Cannot exceed 98 mph because of a control module governor. Overall, excellent truck. Classy exterior design. Headlamps are awesome.
Stevens Reveiw
This is the best truck i have ever purchased i would recommened this truck to other car buyers
Best truck I ever owned
This truck is, by far, superior to any other truck in its class when it comes to driving comfort and in-cab options. The quadrasteer option is unbelievable, and I use it every single day. Just feel that is was marketed to the wrong crowd (1500 chasis) All in all my next truck will again, without a doubt, be a Chevy except this time I'm steppin' up to a crew cab diesel! But I'm sure gonna miss the quadrasteer!
