"Oh my God"
I loved my toyota but I am in love with mt Impala LS. It handles like a dream, you don't feel it moving. It is quiet, corners beautiful and is just plain fun to drive. This is what I call my "Oh my God" car because that is what I said when I saw it and drove it.
A JOY to drive!
What an outstandingly well-built car! I have to take issue with the editor's comments about "wallowy suspension," and "low-buck interior". Our Impala LS is tight, roomy, comfortable and just flat FUN to drive! Someone here mentioned it's not meant for those 5' 7" and over. Well, I'm 6' 3" and this is one of the few vehicles I can actually stretch my legs in. All this AND a 5-star rating for safety?? Why would anyone consider anything else??

My new Ol' Reliable
I bought this car as a demo model. I am the original owner and have had all the recommended maintenance done on it. This car still gets me 27MPG around town and almost 30 MPG on the interstate. I am 5'10" and I can set the driver seat where I want it, sit in the back seat and still have plenty of room.
Great Car!
I really like this car. Only problem is break rotors - Chevy needs to change suppler - Had a 97 Monte Carlo with 97,000 miles and never touched the breaks.
comfort and power under $30000
My Impala has lots of get-up and rides very comfortably. My husband is a bigger man so is not comfortable in many cars during our long road trips. The Impala is extremely spacious and has 2 thermostats (one for each of us) so there are few arguements over the temperature. This is a great, reliable car especially for its class.
