Comfort on long trips A++++! We love our Impala for its style, speed and performance. It took me a while to get used to the quick acceleration at traffic signals! Wow! The heated seats are WONDERFUL in the winter. The only thing I find a bother is the emergency brake pedal. My foot hits it when entering and exiting m

Take a Closer Look at Impala!

My first thought of the Impala in 2000 was Dull. I test drove one a year ago, and changed my mind. My second look at the styling. Differant! Then came the fuel economy. Wow 30mpg. highway, and 20mpg around town! Then I took a ride. Powerful 200hp V-6. Tight handling, and quiet cabin! And all the creatures of a much more expensive car. I had a chance to ride in the back seat this week, a 30 minute ride.I was very impressed. I have had Town Cars, Crown Vic's, and Grand Marquis's. Just as nice a ride, and just as much room, and the rear theater seating was nice. I am 6'1" plenty of leg room. Over 18 Cubic feet of trunk space, (I can't reach the back seat)

I LOVE THIS CAR!!!!

I don't know what car the Edmunds reviewer was driving, but it wasn't an Impala. This car Handles great, plenty of room, all the options you could imagine, all for under 23k. this thing has almost no body roll, no boatiness, firm steering, but very quiet and smooth. If you do enough research and do a test drive you will be sold. What is not to love? This thing is as safe as a volvo, almost as large as a crown vic inside, gas mileage of a compact, styling of a BMW/saab/volvo, 10k less than a midsized SUV, and has a better ride than a 500 series Mercedes SEL.

The Best Car to Drive

Tired of feeling cramped in those long car rides? Try the Chevy Impala. The handling of this vehicle is more like a mid sized car then a full sized car. But the spacious interior and the smooth ride is just like a luxury vehicle.

I bought the car brand new and was very reliable until I hit around 40k. Now it stalls out every other day and I have had to fix the engine almost three times. All kinds of creaks and rattles that are very annoying while driving in the car.
