Used 2013 Chevrolet Cruze Consumer Reviews
Disappointing Quality
We developed spots on the hood where the paint peeled away. We've been to the Chevy dealer and spoke to Chevy corporate. They concluded it was bird poop that caused the paint chips but refused to fix the problem, informing us it will cost $500 to fix. Our actual 25 MPG is also very disappointing and not what we expected. In the year we've had the car, there have been 2 recalls on safety issues. If I had known about these issues, I would not have purchased the car and I warn others to be careful. It's extremely disappointing that Chevy won't stand behind the quality of its cars. Will never purchase another Chevy.
30K in the best car I've owned
Best features: fuel mileage, driver comfort, low interior noise, emergency handling, smooth handling of recalls and no surprise repairs. Worst: As delivered, trunk provides no way to restrain its cargo; difficulty gauging how close I am to objects behind me. The rating and the meager "worsts" tell the story. My "suburban" (i.e., a mixture of highway and stop-light ruled streets) gas mileage ranges from 30-33, highway mileage at 68-70 mph on cruise control often touches high 30s. The six-speed manual, combined with the turbocharger, takes some learning to get shift points right for performance and mileage. If I shift at around 2200 rpm and hit 6th by 40 mph, my mileage is excellent. The combination of the electric steering (which I learned to like in my 2003 Saturn Ion) and the suspension have let me react very quickly (e.g., when someone decided she liked my lane without asking) with no drama. My wife likes to drive, especially on long trips, and, except for the shifting in stop-and-go, has found her comfortable seating position and mirror settings and puts in hundreds of miles at a clip. The Value rating is my best way of describing my experience so far. At 2 3/4 years, I genuinely enjoy driving this car.

Nice car
I have had the 2013 Cruze LT for month now, have driven over 2,000 mi. Some things that I have to nitpic are. The seats are hard and uncomfortable. I get lower back pain. I have tried all kinds of adjustments to no avail. I had to add a cushion to help in comfort. I have a problem that service can not find cause. The dash lights and 7" screen will go out for about 30 to 40 seconds and then come back on. It does this once in awhile. The door locks are on the console and not door which is weird. No inside trunk release, cup holders seem to low and very hard to find in the dark due to no lighting in that area. Armrest is to short. Back seating is a joke. Other than that car runs well.
Pure junk
Resale value is poor..service at dealership is poor ..be prepared to spend alot of time at dealership for recalls and repairs. Expect the runaround from service men..good luck ever trading it in..expect .antifreeze leaks ..non stop traction control issues.steering malfunctions. reptative smog sensor issues .worst part is non of it will be covered by the powertrain warranty when u need it fixed ..good luck if u buy one ..2021 it's still junk..

My 2013 Cruze 1LT RS
Bought the car about 2 weeks ago and couldn't be happier. I am a big gear head and based aspects other than price and reliability. The cruze ranks among the best when it comes to handling and the feel of the drive. Only the focus and mazda3 rank higher. I chose the cruze due to is executive good looks, upscale interior, german like build quality, and peppy turbo engine.
