What’s not to like

This is my first midsize truck ownership having always driven either 1/2 ton or 3/4 ton trucks. My last two trucks were GMC 2500 diesels which were my favs. I don’t have a need for a full size any longer. I test drove the Ranger, Canyon and lastly the Colorado. I really liked the Ranger, but it was just plain ugly and very dated looking. From the first test drive, the Colorado just felt different. Smooth transmission, plenty of power and the ride is remarkably smooth. After 3000 miles I’m averaging 21 mpg. Favorites include: the infotainment system, easy to use controls and the peppy acceleration response, the Bose speakers are not to shabby either. My only real complaint is the fabric materials used on the dash insert, center and door armrests, is rough to the touch and not very comfortable. It reminds me of burlap and needs to be changed to a more softer touch material in the Z71 trim. Other than that, this is a solid truck that is very versatile, sporty and a blast to drive. GM got it right!

I bought a brand new 2024 Colorado had less than 1,000 miles and I would notice all the windows were going down multi times then the next thing to happen it didn't start had to call roadside assistance to jump start I kept it 8 months traded it for a 2025 GMC Canyon right now I have 900 miles with the same problem as the Chevy.I like the GMC but not the way it is right now

Bait & Switch on WiFi and Navigation Controls

Beware, the sticker may state you have Connectivity & Technology 3 years remote access plan: Onstar & Wi-Fi Data Capable.... See Onstar.com for terms. So misleading, after 1 month of owning, I cannot even Google anything while the truck is running. All technology was shut off. Big deal remote access, I can get in my truck with the Fob. What a rip off, GM wants $25 per month to access voice messages, call someone & anything related to maps. DO NOT PURCHASE - SCAM on making more monthly money from the consumer. I have, and pay for, WI-FI on my phone but cannot use it in the truck. SO FRUSTRATED with GM

Bought a 2023 Z71 new transmission went out after 7K miles as well as many issues prior to that OTH issues radio battery list goes on some small and not so. Gm did not pay tow bill could not get parts backorder for 6 to 9 mo I am traveling pulling truck behind a motor coach. Dealer could not help. Bought a Z71 less options and not desirable options of colors my only option was take what they had had Bought another due to stuff off the 23 fit the 24 dealer charged me labor to do the switch. Hate the truck some things don't work unless you pay to have wifi. General motors need to honor their warranty and be accountable for this truck and should be ashamed to put their name on it. Owned many chevys all new since 2011 every 3 yrs retired gm very disappointing.
