  • Honda will bring a pair of EV prototypes to the 2025 Consumer Electronics Show.
  • These vehicles are part of Honda's upcoming 0 Series, expected to launch in 2026.
  • The EVs will be unveiled on January 7 at CES in Las Vegas.

2025 CES — formerly known as the Consumer Electronics Show — is right around the corner, and Honda is planning to make a splash. The company will debut a pair of electric vehicle prototypes that will be part of the Honda 0 Series, a new lineup EVs expected to enter production in 2026.

"In January at CES 2024, Honda premiered the Honda 0 Series and its 'Thin, Light and Wise' development approach," the company said in a statement. "At CES 2025, Honda will provide further details on this approach with a focus on the 'Wise' value."

What's that mean, exactly? Well, Honda says it plans to introduce a new vehicle operating system and a few automated driving technologies that will be core parts of its 0 Series models. This should give us a better idea of what to expect when the 0 Series vehicles enter production in 2026.

Based on the teaser images, one of the vehicles will be an SUV, which is different from the van that Honda showed in 2024. The other vehicle launching in 2026 is a sedan — previewed by the dustbuster-like concept we saw last year — which looks to have further evolved for the updated prototype debuting in January.

Honda's CES press conferences takes place on Tuesday, January 7, at 10:30 a.m. PT. Stay tuned for all the details as well as plenty of other CES coverage.
