GREAT SUV!
This truck is great. Super quiet, comfortable and roomy. I’m 6’3”, and have plenty of leg and head room. Second row easily fits bulky rear facing car seats without compromising front seat leg room. Door openings are huge and open all the way, so getting in and out is easy, and getting car seats in/out is easy. Seats are big and comfortable, the ride is very smooth, and very quiet. V6 motor has plenty of power. Infotainment system is great. Modern, but simple to use. Similar to bmw idrive, but I find it easier to use. Wireless Apple CarPlay is awesome, and works flawlessly. We shopped x5, q7, gle, xc90, and mdx. Cadillac is the clear winner if you value comfort, and space. We originally were gonna get another bmw, an x5, but after driving the xt6, it was no contest. The cadillacs overall ride and the room won us over. Interior material quality is great too, I read a lot of car website reviews saying otherwise, but they are totally wrong. If you want a luxury suv that puts the most value on comfort, space, quietness, and a smooth ride- this is the suv to get. The v6 motor is great too, it’s very smooth and has plenty of power.

Surprisingly roadworthy performance
Simpler design for Cadillac compared to others but well proportioned make this an elegant design overall and easy on the eyes. Driving dynamics exceeded my expectations for Cadillac. Feels more like BMW on the road. Does not feel or look plastic or cheap in anyway. Interior may not be top of class but well executed and hits all the marks for luxury SUV. V6 has plenty of power and quicker than most in class. Power is smooth and seamless with 9 speed tranny. 0-60 in just over 6 seconds puts a smile on your face-Wow. This SUV deserves a second look in the premium luxury version. Auto critics way to harsh I think, because the design is simpler than what is usually expected from Cadillac. Once you drive it you'll think differently. This one is a winner. The blue with cirrus white interior is best of the bunch. Lots of tech and creature comforts Cadillac is known for-a big plus.

XT6
My wife has driven a full size XL version of Suburban or Yukon for the past 20 years. With the kids out of the house now, it was time to go a little smaller and sporty. The XT6 Sport model fit the bill. The wife loves it and we didn’t really give up much cargo space. Spend the money and go with the AWD or AWD Sport model. We teat drove the FWD and there is no comparison.

Enjoying the 2022 XT6
I like the comfort and style of the interior. I have the premium luxury trim level. Great sound with the Bose 14 speaker system. I added the technoology package which has nice added features. The ride is smooth and i dont mind the manual adjustment from 2wd to AWD or sport mode. I like that the touch screen is built into the dash and not exposed like most vehicles today.

Highly disappointed with the 2020 Cadillac XT6
The fit and finish of the vehicle is exceptional. The ride is marvelous. The top end electronic package, while expensive, has been a tremendous disappointment. It has not worked since the day it was delivered. We have had this car in and out of the service department over 6 times. the computer on the car has a flaw that can make it 'go out' while you are driving down the road, it may disappear when trying to park the car (camera goes blank) or it may simply tell you that it does not recognize you, your key or your identitiy. The problem is that the technicians are incapable of diagnosing these sorts of problems, and the dealership is unwilling to replace the faulty computer. Instead, we get modules replaced, cables replaced, software re-installed and they've even blamed their own APP for the issues. To top it off, when I called Cadillac Corporate office to get some help, they routed my call back to the dealership, and I'm back on the phone with the same ineffective technician that I'm complaining about. The car was taken into the shop, as the scheduled it, and it was not touched for 5 day. After 10 days, they still cannot figure it out, and we were told that they would call in an 'expert.' For the money invested in this vehicle, I should be getting a much better service experience.

my caddy
after owning several bmws and lexus i went back to cadillac , i just purchased a 2022 xt6 premium luxury, and so far so good my only hangup is the quality of the interior materials everything looks and feels cheap compared to lexus and bmw. I knew this prior to buying it though. Everything else is fine,it's roomy, rides nice and looks awesome. will continue to update has the years pass.UPDATE it's now december of 2022 xt6 runs good but i do have afew minor complaints. my brakes pads squeak from time to time . also I bought my xt6 in April so i had no need to use the heated seats, well in November when i tried them they did not work so i called my local caddy dealership and was informed that i needed a chip installed. Why was'nt i made aware of this at the of purchase? Now i had to wait two weeks to get this fixed so that means two weeks of heated seats when i could have gotten the chip installed during summer.. not good business by either gm or the dealership.will continue to update. UPDATE January 26 2024, I had a problem with the brakes squeaking periodically went to local caddy dealership and spoke with the service manager he had my vehicle looked at and replaced the brake pads FREE of charge. I have not had a any problems since. love my xt6! UPDATE::2/10/24 Just had to update, I am 65 yrs old and have owned and driven many automobiles and consider myself very knowledgeable when it comes to autos i have read many reviews on all makes and models. HONESTLY cadillac has done a wonderful job with this xt6 NO AUTO IS PERFECT but this xt6 is very close. Just take care of this vehicle like you should any prized possession ( use top tier gas, change the oil on schedule etc) and i'm sure this auto last 200,000 major trouble free miles or more... thank you gm....

Very Impressive
Honestly, I don’t know who is reviewing the XT6 because it is a very nice vehicle! The exterior is truly stunning from all angles. Very pronounced masculine look, five star crash safety rating for every impact. Once inside it takes a very classic view of luxury, opulent without going overboard. Details a perfectly executed, similar to our old 7 series but better than an X5. If you’re going to look at an ICE luxury SUV take this out for a drive. From my view it’s clear the reviewers didn’t actually take the XT6 out for a drive. The handling and maneuverability is awesome. I don’t like driving big vehicles but this drives like a crisp compact, it’s a joy to drive.

awful car
be careful with this vehicle. I bought one new in April of 21 and it's been a nightmare. The brakes make a roaring sound when pressed. The car has been at the dealership over 60 days and they can't seem to find the problem. Also, Cadillac refused to help. If I could give zero stars, that would be my rating

Not sure of this car
I have driven Cadillac's most of my life. But in 2010 & 2013 I drove Lincoln's because Cadillac was not offering leasing. I went back to Cadillac leasing a 2014 XTS (which I thought was a great car) and then a 2017 Cadillac CT6 Platinum. This CT6 was the best car I ever had! Just fantastic! But when I lease a car I never lease the same one because in my mind I'd still be driving the same car I just turned in. So this time around I decided on a 2020 XT6. I won't go into a long story but I took delivery on November 6th 2019. As of today both the right front door and left rear door were misaligned, drivers door has a noise sounding like rubber on rubber, there is a rattling noise from the sunshade over the second row of seats, the right outside mirror stopped going down (as I had it set) when I put the car in reverse, the satellite radio loses connection and won't restart. My CT6 NEVER had any problems in the 3 years I had it and NEVER had one squeak or rattle. And after leaving the car at the dealer for 3 days just before Christmas out of my list of complaints only 1 item was fixed.
Will never buy again
I purchased a 2021 Cadillac XT6 for nearly $60,000 (no cooled seats, no heated second row). I will NEVER buy another Cadillac as long as I live. We've had nothing but problems with it. Brakes hung up two weeks ago (screeching like an off-the-rails train) and had those replaced. I've had it back for 1 week and 1 day....today the air conditioning quit, the check engine light came on, I'm getting an error message on the screen about a problem with the steering assist, the fan runs loudly for 10 minutes after you shut the car off (has done it now twice). Less than 20,000 miles on it. I've driven Suburbans for the previous 15 years (my last one had ~210,000 miles on it) and never had an issue. Again, do NOT ever buy a Cadillac!

I bought one and this is my opinion
I bought a brand new Cadillac XT6 about 4 months ago and I do like it. But I feel like for the amount they charge you for just the base package is a lot. Sadly I bought it without doing my research which I typically do. But there are features I don't get that I would if I went a less expensive vehicle. And beware that this car does not come with built navigation you have to pay for it through on star. But they wont tell you till after your free trial is over. I love the design but I just wish they would give me more for money. But overall I love the car. Great ride and delivers tons of power.

XT6 Junk
Issue after issue with the reverse and forward cameras. Been back to dealer 6 times to correct the same problem. Still not working. Absolute poor quality!
Not so great of a vehicle!
We owned a 2019 Traverse High Country and it was a great vehicle. 0%, 72 month loan from Cadillac was hard to pass up. XT6 is not a rebadged Traverse. However the XT6 we owned spent a lot of time with the dealer's service. The camera system has proven to be unreliable. It took the dealer 3 tries to fix it the first time. As we were dropping it off for its last service the side camera failed. Dealer reset the codes. We have had frequent tire monitoring system issues also indicating a tire is low or flat. Also a problem with Onstar's navigation. Alao a rattle that was hard to solve. It is ashame this vehcike had so many issues because it rode great, was very comfortable, averaged 25mpg, 500 + mile range, CUE system is great. But the issues just occur too often. Dealer service is not thst great, now they will charge a diagnostic fee for issues if they can't find something wrong even under warranty.

Best Mid Size Crossover on the Market
Coming from a 2017 Acadia Denali, my Wife loves every aspect of the XT6! After living with the XT6 for 13 months, I can without a doubt say the Cadillac infotainment system is trash. It reboots pretty frequently, even after it's been replaced and Cadillac has performed 3 software updates!

There IS a better Mid-Size, Luxury SUV out there!
I consider myself a very educated and conscientious vehicle shopper. I will also admit that I've been a very loyal GM customer, having purchased 13 new GM vehicles within our household over the past 30 years. I’ve been actively researching a purchase of a Mid-Size Luxury SUV for the past year. When GM announced the production of the Cadillac XT6, I was waiting with baited breath to learn more and tests drive this “NEW” model. When I finally had the opportunity to drive the XT6, I was immediately left with serious concerns and disappointment. Having test driven the new 2020 Lincoln Aviator prior to the XT6 may have influenced my opinion of the Cadillac prematurely; so I thought. However, as I took careful time to seriously compare of these two American Luxury brands, I felt compelled to turn away from the Cadillac XT6 and pursue a purchase of the Lincoln Aviator. Let it be known that my reason from turning away from GM wasn’t because of any negative experiences with previous GM products! Simply stated, I've become increasingly frustrated with GMs failure to seriously differentiate its product lineup to include Chevrolet, GMC, Buick, and Cadillac. With the exception of some simple exterior/interior cues, GM still insists on sharing one common parts-bin amongst all of its product divisions. From the powertrains to the dashboards, all GM divisions share way too much in common. Additionally, the exterior and interior appearances are lackluster and appear very "dated". The issues that these GM models face can no longer justify the significant difference in pricing that they command. GM has lost its ability to “wow” me with its “new” lineups. Specifically, my comparison of the XT6 and the Aviator allowed me to undeniably conclude that these two vehicles are Not Even Close in many aspects. If anyone has completed simple research, they cannot deny the facts. It is clear that GM demonstrates some serious neglect in the XT6 engineering by fast-tracking its development. As a result, the XT6 became a stretched version of the XT5, which limited its development, therefore forcing comprises in function and performance. Indeed, the XT6 it attractive and functional, however, for five distinct reasons I predict that the XT6 will remain out of reach of the Lincoln Aviator in sales and owner satisfaction. These five keys areas are: Use of C1XX platform (stretched version of XT5); Front wheel drive; Use of 3.6L V6 (LGX) naturally aspirated Engine; No option of a Hybrid variant powertrain; MSRPs that are very close to each other. Regardless of these major points, when considering the XT6, you are simply looking at a well-dressed and rebadged Enclave, Traverse or Acadia that present with the simplest differences in grills, tailgates and dashboards. In sharp contrast, the new Lincoln Aviator is a truly redesigned luxury vehicle that cannot be mistaken for the 2020 Ford Explorer which shares the same platform. Lincoln did some serious homework and accomplished some serious engineering goals. Not only has Lincoln separated itself brilliantly from its Ford brethren, but it truly put a lot of distance between itself and the Cadillac XT6, as well as every other Foreign competitor in the same Class. The Aviator's size inside and out, as well as its base Twin-Turbocharged 400 HP V-6 engine are alone, enough to make it a much better value than the aforementioned threats. It is obvious that the Aviator was meticulously designed from bottom up. Although the Cadillac XT6 has its strengths, as a loyal GM customer for decades, I must regretfully admit that it still falls short in nearly every measure when compared to most other Mid-size Luxury SUVs in the same class. It is disappointing that the XT6 was conceived which such limited time and resources. Opinions aside, only future sales will definitively dictate who will come out ahead. Do your own research and buy wisely!

Loving it!
I previously owned a 2019 GMC Yukon and really was starving for luxury and a smooth ride. This checked all the boxes and more. Not to mention a great salesman at Hendrick Cadillac in Cary, NC.
2020 XT 6 Platinum
We have a 2020 XT6 Platinum since 12/20 with the 3.6L V6. I only drive 8K-9K miles a year in a metropolitan environment but I have needed to change the full synthetic Dexos oil every 4-5 months. The service reps just smiled when I asked why this seems to be the case and he said his wife's XT5 has the same issue. Along with this and the bubbled dash, busted seam on the driver's seat and recalls; I have become very well known at two of our local Cadillac service departments in the Bay Area. They know me by face recognition. And the MPG has been 14 mpg. Otherwise, the SUV has been comfortable, safe and quiet. Although, when I needed to accelerate, the engine howls loudly but nothing really happens for a good 1-2 seconds. You would expect the car to launch like a warplane at the growl of this unrefined engine.

Baby Escalade
Fresh look based on the Escala Concept , upscale feel, all available features, missing the massage seats. The video recorder is awesome, the 360’ camera , heads up display Rear view mirror camera , the intelligent beam, night vision and pedestrian detection. I love it. Coming from a BMW sedan is my first SUV and is really weird but I will get used to it.

Get in line to buy a Cad that buzzes your butt
I am renting a 2022 Cadillac xt6. In addition to a flashing red line your driver's seat buzzes if the car senses your stopping is not slow enough. And the buzzers cannot be turned off. The cruise control is defective; it will not maintain a safe distance from vehicles ahead of you. The layout of the dashboard seems to have been designed by a committee of idiots. The gas gauge is not visible; the speedometer is in a bad position for viewing. Same for the tachometer. The controls for activating drive, reverse, and park are unnecessarily complicated. If you choose not to connect your cell phone the dash gives a message "Your phone is not connect" all the while you drive. This car is not fun to drive. If you accelerate too fast the rear wheels loose traction and you peel out. And the check engine symbol is frequently displayed. I have owned many cadillac's. This vehicle is the worst one in my experience.

Pleasantly Not Surprised
I had leased a 2019 CT6 and loved it. I regretted not buying it at the end of the lease. In 2022 I was planning on leasing a Cadillac XT6. But with the microchip shortage at the time and the deleted features it caused, I went with a Lexus SUV. It was a long 3 years. I couldn’t wait to get into an XT6. I lucked out and stumbled across an extremely loaded 2022 pre-owned XT6. It was well taken care of. It has plenty of power and the transmission shifts so seamlessly. The cabin is quiet. The ride is very smooth. I find it difficult to criticize anything about it. If I have to criticize something, it would be the tires breaking free under hard in two wheel drive, which is front wheel drive, the torque steer is unnerving. So, I leave it in AWD all of the time. It probably cost me a mile or two per gallon. But it provides better performance. Even in AWD, the tires get a little loose. It may be the result of poor tires, not necessarily a short coming of the XT6. The auto shut off feature (shuts off engine while stopped) is very annoying. You can shut this function off, but it only last for the duration of the trip. It is reactivated every time the car is shut off at the end of the trip. Criticisms aside, I love my XT6. I get a lot of compliments as well.

If you don't like it you bought the wrong one!
I have owned my 21 XT6 now for about three months. The more I drive it the more I want to drive it . I will say I have had some minor glitches with the in dash systems and my shade on my roof did t close completely but it was just a minor issue. Other then that the space is great I own a working dog company and they fit just fine of course you have to sacrifice the third row but it works fine because no one wants to ride with Maligators anyway. This vehicle serves its purpose with in vehicle WiFi and all the leg room you could ask for as a 6 ft 4in driver.i have no major complaints yet but I don't plan on keeping it long enough to find out anyway. All in all I give it five stats for sure. Just spend the money you get what you pay for. It's a Caddy!

Best Caddie I have ever owned
I have owned it for about a month and put about 1,000 miles on it. Highway mileage is over 25mpg. City mileage is close to 19mpg. Fit and finish is supurb. Great seating an lots of options. The interior is very quiet, even at highway speeds. It corners well and rides smoothly over road imperfections. Both my wife and I love this car. Bought it for a little over $43k, it had a $72.5k sticker when new. A very solid vehicle.
