Corvette? Really?
Just traded in my 2019 C-7 for a 2021 M-4. I wanted similar performance but more space. Not disappointed! Corvettes are high performance, race cars. This is a refined, 4 person, high performance/elegant/ high tech coupe. C-7 Corvette would beat this car in any race or track. You can’t beat americans oldest formula for power...Displacement! But this is a beautiful, fun to drive coupe! And much bigger than the Corvette. Also I got the M4 manual version, which is a blast to drive. People complain about the looks, I love it! You can’t go wrong with this car, and it fits 4 comfortably.

AWESOME CAR
Have a 2020 Porsche Carrera and my new BMW M4 xdrive convertible blows it away. The BMW quality is on par with Porsche but is more comfortable and responsive. Could not be happier with my purchase!

2024 M4 manual transmission
Just got my 2024 M4 manual after waiting 9 months. Love the smooth and powerful ride. Personally, I love the M grill and it was one of the main attractions for me. Also one of the few available cars offered in manual transmission. Seats leg bolsters a little tight and bothersome. I am a slim guy and this was still narrow and not adjustable. Waiting to finish the break-in service so I can really push the revs. Only wish the exhaust note had more pops and crackle like my old supra.

Stellar looks and value.
I stumbled upon the new 2023 M4 Competition X drive convertible while finalizing the purchase of a 2023 BMW 850 X drive Convertible. The attraction was the usable backseat of the M4, versus the cramped unusable rear seat of the 850. Both gorgeous cars, but the M4 won my heart for many reasons. 1. Smaller size but comparable to a 5 series. 2. The M4 is a real M car, unlike the 850. 3. Unlike others, I prefer the bigger grill on the M4, vs the same old grill on the 850! And last but not least, the M4 had a much better comfortable ride than the 850. The M4 is a beast when you want it to be, can can also serve as a comfortable classy daily driver. I can’t say enough about the 2023 M4 Competition X drive. And finally, I don’t think the steering is numb as others state. I also own a 2022 Porsche Cayman S, which has a reputation for tactile steering. Both feel the same to me.

Not what I expected.
The car is and drives big. I ordered the car, competition xdrive. The road feel is lacking compared to Porsche, build quality is also behind peers. Love the acceleration, but the feel just isn't there. I was disappointed the 12V socket would not work with my escort radar, but will with uniden. I contacted dealer, and they said they have seen the problem before, but no fix ( sounds like GM dealer response, I expected more out of BMW). I am selling the car, it just lacks soul.

Goldilocks ride
2024 m4 Competition xdrive, This car does it all. It is three cars in one. It is a muscle car, a sports car and a luxury car. You can carry four adults, launches like a Porsche and does it in style and comfort. It is big enough not to be too cramped but small enough to not feel big on the road. Plenty of storage and hauls ass as well as almost anything. Perfect car for the real world for someone who needs an exciting car that is practical, the interior quality is excellent as is the exterior. I traded in a 992 911 turbo and a Dodge Challenger and bought the M4. I loved those cars and will miss them but do not regret it. If you have limited garage space and can only choose one car but you have a need for speed and practicality then this is the Goldilocks ride. I consider it an excellent value as the fit and finish and materials equals Porsche but at half the price. Don’t waste your money on a dark horse mustang as the price is not that different but the cars are.

My Fave Car I’ve Ever Driven…
Recently had the opportunity to trade for a 2025 Competition Convertible. I love it! Great fit and finish. Shocking performance. Be ready for compliments, and thumbs up. This is an exceptional car. I’m so fortunate to own one. Ask my wife…she wishes I’d just shut [non-permissible content removed] up about it. Go and get this car.

LOTS OF ZIP AT PREMIUM PRICE
Replaced my 2020 911 S with this beast, which seems just as quick & fast, but more comfy. While the steering isn' as precise, it does have a drop top, which is what made me buy it. Excellent fit and finish. Info/tainment screen way too busy, but surprisingly easy to navigate. Open air experience is great especially at atleast 50K less than a Porsche convertible. Don’t regret swapping the Porsche so far.

Fast, precise, and fun
Purchased the convertible M4 Competition Xdrive and what an amazing car. Fit and finish is amazing, the car is so planted and fun to drive. Brakes are amazing only surpassed by the twin turbocharged I6 motor that puts out just under 530 hp with 0-60 times in the 3.5. This thing is a refined relaxed car but when you put it in M mode she becomes an animal. I'm in awe of this car. Put the top down and its another level of fun for my wife and kids. Well worth every penny.
