Bought this car as a responisible choice over a Porsche 928, well not realy, its faster all around than the 86 928 and its all wheel drive. its little slow off the line.. but man is shes fast on the highway!anything after 2000RPMs and she will just keep pulling. Has been very reliable, and fun to drive. and yes i did finaly get a 928, with some performance parts she will be as fast as the audi. If looking to purchas one, have it looked at by an audi dealer! and dont be scared of part costs thier not all that bad. thanks to the internet. V8 QUATTRO 4.2 276hp, black paint gray leather.18"wheels w/ 235/40 r18 143000k

I was actually looking for another 200tq, but decided to get the V8 after I had the pleasure of driving one. I can't express enough how great a car the V8 is. I live in NH and travel to NYC about 5-6 times a year. I have driven it at 125 mph (no traffic, good radar det.) and it is flawless. 15 years old, 160k miles. Added sat radio, and 16" wheels. Audi was not selling many cars here in the early 90's, so great cars like this went by basically unnoticed.

Little Secret

Never knew about these cars. I'm one for "one-of-a-kinds" and this one was just that. I was surprised to never know about. I have the rare 5 speed manual version with the still used 4.2 4OHC 32V V8 engine (276 HP). The car has 227,000 miles and looks, runs, drives, functions like a 30,000 mile car. All wheel drive and 4 doors make this the only car of its kind. (Only 76 imported with the 5 speed). Repairs are not cheap, but they are necessary. Do not ignore regular maintenance!!! Audi is a top quality brand, so its replacement parts will be more expensive. Check the Internet for 30%-50% off what Napa/autozone will charge you. Overall, I love it, and will keep it for a while!

Great car! Comfort, luxury & reliability for less than $5,000. We use it in the Rocky mountains. The AWD & ABS make it perfect for winter mountain driving. It's like a luxurious SUV without the high rollover potential!
