2023 Audi Q5 Plug-in Hybrid Consumer Reviews
Less for More
Coming out the 2020 version of the same model and similar options, the MSRP is more. A consequence of global inflation and higher interest rates. I do like the updated body style and touchscreen infotainment system. However, the options available like Navigation are few and far between unless you upgrade to a Prestige model or happen to find a Premium Plus with that option (at greater overall cost than before). Not really needed in the era of Apple Car-Play etc, but I do miss the feature, especially the map display in the instrument cluster. The Q5e drives about the same, maybe a bit more buttoned down and maybe slightly quicker with the higher kW battery. I really like the features and look of this model and will be happy for the next few years until my lease is up.

Downsized luxury SUV
Once I retired and wasn't spending 45 minutes commuting each way, a Porsche Macan S was a truly spectacular vehicle but it seemed a waste of money and not very practical to drive 3 miles to the grocery store. The Audit Q5e drove almost as well as the Porsche and the electric component of the vehicle will make me feel better about contributions to the environment. In addition, the only 2 things I felt were missing on the Porsche, compass on the rear view mirror and extendable visors, were included on the Q5e.

A beast!
Have had mine since mid December 2022 and love it. Beautiful roomy interior, tons of power, super quiet and getting 60 km range in all electric.
